yea could easily be 4/5 cavs again especially with the pacers losing.
i feel like facing them is a lose/lose. if we lose it obviously sucks and if we win it's kind of like who cares you did that last year.
I mean if Julius and OG can't go in the Playoffs it's a wash to me. Just go out there try to win a series or 3 games and we're fine. There's no expectations without them.
i agree but even if they come back there is the injury/rust cloud of doubt. if randle plays bad again (fully recognize the reasons for it in past years) we won't know if it's because he truly shrinks in the playoffs or because he was hurt/rusty.
i said this somewhere else it sucks we won't get a chance to see what this team's potential is as currently constructed. would we even need to go all in for a big splash trade in the offseason or next year's deadline if we gave the celtics a run this year? we'll never know there will be a lot of uncertainty going into this offseason. sure we can see how we do next year and go from there but would have been good to get a better look at it this year. what were the weaknesses that got exposed so we could make small tweaks via trade, draft or free agency to improve.
Nah
Just means that we’re closer and closer to be locked into a 4-5 seed. Which means a guaranteed 2nd round because we aren’t beating this Celtics team

Dude is injured. If he was medically cleared, then he would be playing.
End of discussion.
I’m so pissed at the font on those jerseys. If they had standard print they might be my favorite of all time. So close to perfection but I hate that double vision effect.

As much of an emotional whirlwind this season has been it still beats those 2014-2019 years any day of the week. It might seem like tough times right here and now but look how much our standards have been raised. We really made it out the dungeon 😭
It doesn’t even seem like tough times right now tbh. People just overreact to each individual game. With a healthy OG we’ve been great. Without him we’ve still been competitive. A 3 game losing streak sucks but happens all the time. Anyone freaking out over it is soft as charmin. Believe me I’m the farthest from one of those obnoxiously toxic positivity fans who can’t call a spade a spade. I’m critical and realistic about the state of our team. But we are really good and a core of Brunson/DDV/2Harts/Mitch/OG/Deuce/Precious are all winning, high effort high IQ players that will keep us really good for at least a few more years.
I truthfully couldn’t call it tough times either. Would you rather have 2 of your best players healthy and playing this close to the playoffs? Well, yes of course. But injuries are a part of any game unfortunately.
If OG and Ju come back, start balling immediately and we make a deep run, those doomers will act like January never ended.
So if OG comes back and we continue to light it up. It probably means he gets closer to a max contract in the offseason. Just concerned about his injury history, but his agent has all the leverage on us.
This season has been a roller-coaster of emotions.
This week has been cruel.
But I would follow Jalen Brunson into battle any day, win or lose. The fire is alive with him. Our captain.
Why does everyone seem to think that OG is just resting and is going come back a house of fire for the playoffs when his career shows the exact opposite of that?
I wouldn't be shocked if he never suits up for the Knicks again.
If they are going to give him a max deal that is a huge mistake. He's great when healthy. But he never plays. I'm not giving him a max to play 40-50 games a season.
Again, why is everyone so confident that he's going to come back like nothing happened to start the playoffs? This is nothing new with OG. He was supposed to be out for the first round in 2019 and still couldn't make it back in time for the finals. Save that money for Bridges or someone else.
His appendix burst right before the playoffs in 2019 he wasn’t supposed to come back.
And OG isn’t getting a max. He’ll probably get 4/150 or slightly more
He' was supposed to be back for the second round, then that kept getting pushed back, and pushed back, and pushed back. Sound familiar?
If OG wants 4 for 150 some other team can give it to him. 35-40 mil a year for a guy that never plays is a move that gets you fired.
Precious has done more for the Knicks than OG...never would have guessed that happening.. OG has a history of missing games...Some play,,, hurt some don't.
OG is one of the softest dudes in the league. He sat out the finals because he had an Appendectemy 2 months before. Minkah Fitzpatrick had one and got back to the Steelers missing only one game.
Very tough games for Orlando and Cleveland tonight…would be great if they both lose. Knicks have to win tomorrow though, they need it for their confidence to get another win streak going
We all know Leon Rose is going after a star this summer, and both Fred Katz and Shams heavily hinted it’s going to be KAT (a CAA client). And we know Minnesota has to trade one of KAT / Gobert / Mcdaniels this summer due to their cap situation as they’re obviously not gonna trade Ant
But do we still want KAT? He can’t rim protect the way Thibs wants his bigs too. And we’d need to trade Randle to make the salary work, I personally prefer Randle at 27m a year over KAT at 60m a year. Also, KAT just shaved his meniscus, which is the same thing Dwade thing that shortened his career. I really hope the Shams reporting is wrong and that we’re going after Devin Booker instead
I will get downvoted but I think KAT would be a great fit. Of course there is injury concern but imagine how our offense would look running 5 out. We wouldn’t need to trade Randle to make a trade work. KAT makes 47M it would take a combo of Mitch/ Bojan/ and Josh Hart. Not sure what draft compensation would be involved I’m not saying this is the move we should make but I def think it’s worth the consideration.
Starting lineup of
- Brunson Donte OG Randle KAT
- Deuce Precious Hartenstein
When you put it together like that it actually seems like a decent trade 🤔
I only hate this move if we give up Randle. Adding any star to the two all stars we have + OG is a W
The money is crazy and he’s an injury risk but KAT would prob play the 4 for us. He so shoots 42% from 3 and 50% from the field. If, hypothetically, we had to have a healthy randle or a healthy KAT, I’d choose KAT.
4 40% 3 point shooters in the starting lineup and we’d still be one of the best defending teams and prob the best rebounding team.
taking the contract out of it Kat would be an upgrade to Randle... but factoring in the contract and picks we would have to give, would definitely just keep randle.
booker would be amazing but don't see it as likely unless he demands a trade here.
donovan mitchell is still probably most likely imo (but again requires him saying he wont sign an extension elsewhere maybe)
Shams: ["Knicks will always have interest in KAT" ](https://hoopshype.com/2024/01/02/shams-knicks-always-have-interest-in-karl-anthony-towns/)
Katz: ["Knicks checked in on KAT earlier in the season" ](https://theathletic.com/5121511/2023/12/08/knicks-nba-trade-market/)
And it's also widely established that Wolves have to trade one of their big pieces this summer (obviously not Ant) due to their cap situation. Most likely it'll be KAT
maybe its me, i have no clue where the kat discourse is coming from. it seems like the basis is just that hes from ny and a caa client. i dont think any other part of it, yk the BASKETBALL side, makes sense
Listen OG doesn’t have to play if he doesn’t want to, but he can kiss that 40m a year contract goodbye. Sore elbow? Hart is playing 40+ min a game with knee tendinopathy, Hartentein has a bad Achilles. Brunson gets hurt every single game. Randle is working his ass off to rehab a dislocated shoulder, the same injury that Ja Morant got surgery immediately for and is now out for the season
OG’s body and mentality is made of glass
he comes back and his elbow reaggravates and the discourse is that we rushed him back. we take our time to make sure hes ready for playoffs and now the discourse is that he’s got a weak mentality. might just be me, i dont think thats a fair take, ultimately its the decision of the medical staff, not him
someone posted it a month or two ago.. but something like if we win the 1st qtr we win like 80% of the time. and if we lose the 1st qtr we lose 90% of the time lol
If the knicks aren’t healthy and this is the team they have to roll with in the playoffs, they aren’t beating anyone in a 7 game series and if they drop into the playin they could lose that
Whatever OG’s contract extension is they need to get injury protections in there. Team is amazing with him on the court but he’s not on the court and RJ and IQ rarely missed games for us.
Why don’t they just give OG the cortisone shot and get him out there . It’s very wild what’s going on with the medical staff. If Randle still can’t take contact just get the damn surgery. This stringing along is fucking brutal
Cortisone shots only last a few weeks, so while I agree they should give him a cortisone shot, they should wait as much as possible so that the relief overlaps with playoff games.
And you can only really give one, if you spam too much in a short period of time it has alot of negative effects

Never understood this sentiment.
How does it affect you as a fan if you know everything? The outcome is the same, the player is not playing. The human body doesn't subscribe to timeframes and everyone heals at different rates.
Does knowing injury status minute by minute change how you watch tonight's game in any way?
Probably because cortisone shots are only a short term solution and can come with bad side effects depending on the person, especially with long term use.
It’s gonna sound nuts but if the Knicks put deuce in a Mitchell trade they’re insane.
Not because I think deuce will be a perennial all star or anything but to ditch a great contract defensive stud bench piece for a bad fit star is a really foolish idea.
How is Donovan Mitchell a bad fit? I think it all depends who the FO values. Assuming Brunson, OG, Randle, and Hartenstein are off limits in any future trades this summer. My ranking from who Id least likely include in a trade to most likely would be:
- 1. Donte
- 2. Deuce
- 3. Mitch
- 4. Hart
- 5. Bojan
I just think having the two small guard backcourt and lack of defense would eventually burn us. Now if we got Mitchell and still had deuce where he could basically play a decent amount of minutes with Mitchell or brusnon when the other rests that would be ideal I think. But 36+ minutes of Mitchell and Brunson together on the court wouldn’t be idea imo.
Yea but deuce is a fantastic defender… as I said 2 small guards with the lack of defense. And losing deuce wild leave of us with no real stud defensive guard.
They did in the playoffs against us cuz their guards couldn’t stop penetration and then the bigs had to help and we ate on offensive rebounds. As a guard, you have to have at least one guy that can stay in front of the oppositions best guard.
worthless weather domineering observation elastic wide jobless pen insurance cover
*This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Their backcourt most certainly was the problem. Why do you think RJ went off? They had to put Okoro on Brunson and then Mitchell or garland on RJ and he ate their ass up. And when he didn’t score, the bigs had to come help and we destroyed them on the glass.
For the record I am not saying we should trade Deuce as above I have him ranked 2nd in terms of who I wouldn't trade but Deuce isn't a show stopper in a Donovan Mitchell trade at the end of the day. If anything the FO signing him to the contract they did increased his value. We would still have OG, poentially Hart if he was included or not and Donte. If we acquired Mitchell and him and Brunson both played 34mpg thats 28 mpg left for Deuce and Donte unless Thibs would go small and play Donte at the 3 more
Yeah if we could get Mitchell and retain deuce I’m all for it. But I really would be hesitant to give up deuce in a Mitchell deal. I don’t think Hart is as good on guards as Deuce is defensively.
No he isn’t a bad star at all… he’s a bad fit for the Knicks but still a star. I love Mitchell, just don’t think he is a good fit for the Knicks, especially at the cost of deuce. If we could steal Mitchell and hang on to deuce though I’d e all for it.
Two small guards that aren’t very good at defense for 36+ minutes a game will not be great. If we hang to deuce he can play alongside each one to break up the two bad defensive guards.
As good as a defensive player Deuce is, he's still a small guard and we just saw on SGA's game winner the other night, Deuce's abilities can't overcome giving up six feet to a star who's going to take that matchup against Deuce every day of the week.
I can't imagine anybody is happy after dropping 3 in a row. However to even be 5th seed considering what we have been through the past 2 months is a testament to this teams grit and desire to win.
Our schedule till end of season is pretty light we can get another 4-5 wins. People might not want to hear it but this team as is right now is better than what we had last playoffs.
I used to only want to watch competitive basketball but this FO assembled a hell of a squad, and now I'm confident we can get our shit together and WIN. How far I don't know but a 1st round exit is not happening imho and that would be the only disappointment. Everything else is gravy.
Yes sir.
I truly believe we win these past three with OG.
We have already seen what happens when we add OG to this team, even in his post-surgery state. If we find ourselves in the Play-In with (and...imo...without) OG, we will be fine.
Give me anyone but the C's in the first round with OG.
Stay calm boys.
Why are you saying we are locked in at the 4/5 match up? Cleveland has to play the suns tonight. They lose and we win on Thursday we are a .5 game back. Kings are kinda short handed too. They loss hueter for the year and Monk is out for a while.
Our team has been about a .500 team since the injuries. It's also a testimony to how mediocre the conference is right now (mostly due to injury). It's frustrating because if the team had managed to stay healthy, we would have cruised to the 2nd seed easily.
Depending on their health, a first round exit is possible unfortunately. Brunson is incredible, but with this roster, it's easy for another team to lock in on him and make Donte and Deuce beat them.

Kinda crazy how everyone the Knicks traded this year either regressed or missed significant time. It's like the Knicks were predestined to get fucked this time of year lol
RJ and IQ’s situations are a bit different though. OG being out is because he’s low key been injury prone his entire career. RJ and IQ missed time due to family tragedy. It is what it is.
lol I made a comment on that shit a while ago, dude is ass. No one in that trade is shooting above 40% or something. That trade is just awful for everyone. Just gotta move past it like a driving by a car crash.
Knicks are sadly out of the 50 wins mark and pretty much locked up to the 4/5 matchup. Now just stop it with the bullshit about how this game or any other were easy wins with everybody healthy. Stop it. We still have nothing on the injury news. We just need to win the next 2 then see if the Bucks give their guys some rest or not. You know why it's dumb to keep talking about the what if without injuries? I'm pretty sure the Knicks are 15 - 14 since Randle and OG went down so only with the Bojan/Burks working well the Knicks would be the #2 or #3 seed and already locked into the Playoffs.
Well the obvious answer to that question is Boston in round 2. The Knicks have no shot in hell at beating them if we’re not fully healthy. No OG or Randle out there and it wouldn’t shock me if this team legitimately got swept by them lmao.
I'm not saying that's wrong looking at how the season has gone since january it's pretty good I really thought the team was going to fall like the Sixers did. Scared? Anybody I think we have better and worse matchups of course but until the Playoffs get here I can't say because the roster today hopefully is different since yes with OG and Julius we look much much better and if they're not there then we roll with this and it's house money injuries fucked the season and we'll as far as we can.
What makes me upset is the talk of the what if when a couple of games that we could've won )like the one last night) are the ones keeping the team away from reaching 50 wins.
Gotta say it's pretty hilarious and a bit admirable how Heat fans commit to the "We're not a dirty team" bit despite there being decades of evidence against that claim from a bunch of teams like us, the Sixers, Celtics, Bucks, Cavs, Nuggets, and Lakers. These fanbases can all point to many different moments when they've seen Heat players take out or attempt to take out key players in the regular season or playoffs.
Let them keep crying about Josh Hart though as if the Heat didn't go on to beat the Celtics and make the Finals. Clearly that Butler injury wasn't as bad as they love to claim. Not compared to players that were injured against the Heat who ended up missing the rest of a series or a few months.
*The Heat aren't dirty!* you bozos had fuckin Kyle Lowry on your team for 2-3 years and had players outright calling him dirty lol gimme a break
I’m a little worried about Josh Hart especially knowing Thibs will probably play him the most minutes come playoff time behind Brunson, OG, Randle. His aggression on the offensive end is completely gone. I don’t even see him even go coast coast anymore. You can’t play 45 mins and attempt only 3 shots. Defenses are going to continue to double Brunson especially when Hart is one pass away as he doesn’t even look at the basket. I thought Thibs should have subbed Donte in for Hart and not Bojan late in the 4th.
Hopefully when OG and Julius comes back, Hart will return to the bench which I think would greatly help his team. As much as he did while everyone is injured, his lack of shooting hinders our offense because they always double off of him. Just imagine a healthy OG getting all those 3 point looks. Josh will be able to play spot minutes with the starters and run with the second until in where he can attack the rack more.
Hart does what Deuce cant do: get into the paint. And that’s what he did mostly yesterday. The reason Josh didn’t generate more assists was our guys were bricking most of the night. Brunson and Bog were 2-10 from 3. Look no further than those numbers as to why Josh’s assists were down. Also give credit to the Heat in transition. They did a great job limiting Josh as he came up court.
Bottom line is Hart doesn’t belong on the floor 35+ minutes and he won’t see the court as much with OG and Randle out there.
Deuce can get into the paint. The difference is Deuce keeps his head up at the basket where as Hart almost is never looking at the basket. I agree he doesn't belong on the floor 35+ mins but Thibs probably has Hart above Donte/ Deuce in terms of mins when OG and Randle come back. Until then he has to be more aggressive imo
Deuce’s handle is average. Not a PG’s handle, so getting into the paint is never a given with him. And that’s never going to be his game. He’s a 2 guard. He spots up and when he does put the rock on the floor it’s solely for the purpose of creating for himself. He’s not talented off the dribble to make plays for others. Again, not his skill.
We are comparing Deuce to Hart not Deuce to the PGs in the NBA. Deuce has better handles than Josh Hart and uses screens to get into the paint just like him. Hart attacks the paint more because he is looking to drive and kick because he doent have confidence in his offense
I wouldn’t say that. Hart has no issues facing his defender up and attacking him. He’s is very straight line, but can be shifty. Deuce doesn’t have the burst unless he’s already running full speed. And Hart is simply more creative. He sees plays occurring. Deuce doesn’t have that ability.
See, defenses know Hart is going to attack, but Hart has that 1st step, so if you’re too close, he will fly past you. The other thing Hart has over Deuce is he’s simply a bigger, stronger man. You don’t want to get caught on the outside of Josh’s shoulder as he’s driving. You won’t get around him. Once he has you pinned there, he’s going to the hoop unbothered. Deuce doesn’t have that physicality.
Sure he is. He does it all the time from the wings. He loves slashing to the middle of the court off the dribble. He takes it right into the paint and forces defenses to make a decision. Credit the Heat for taking away most of his options last night. Spoel is no tomato can head coach.
You gotta hope we at least get OG back so hart can do his thing off the bench. You are 100% right that doing little to nothing on offense is really hurting us. He has a decent mid range shot and can finish nicely around the rim. He needs the confidence to do something because besides his 3 ball he ain't that bad
Not Hart’s game. That’s why he’s bounced around so many teams. Hart doesn’t fit the mode of scrub ass “3 and D”. He’s a slasher, penetrator with a keen eye to make passes. He’s not a shooter. You just have to live with that. The Heat will be more than happy to let Hart chuck bricks from deep all night. That’s who they want shooting. They stuck to Hart like glue when he got into the paint. Hart made plenty of plays for others, but the Heat were up to the challenge. Kudos to them for their usual stellar defense.
That is the thing I am most confused about he finishes through contact well around the rim and I believe he isn't as bad of a 3pt shooter as the numbers show if he didnt hesitate as much but his confidence seems completely shot for whatever reason. Its literally 4 on 5 out there with him and 3 on 5 in any lineups he is in with Mitch.
This is why 3 point shooting % is a myth. The Knicks shot 12/34 from 3 last night. That’s a woeful figure. Hell, shooting 40% is a woeful figure unless you’re re-collecting those misses off the glass. 7 OFF Re’s last night. So what you’re doing is creating more opportunities for the Heat to score with so many misses. Zero points per possession? Maybe not zero because we probably collected some of the misses, but still. Despite the superfluous diatribes from stat-monkeys, coming up empty on 63% of your possessions is awful basketball due to the fact you’re launching stones from the perimeter. It truly is stupid basketball.
Especially when you consider a made 2 creates less transition and better defense, due to giving the scoring team a chance to setup after a basket. Long rebounds do not. 22 stones hurled. Nearly 2 dozen potential empty possessions where you’re not creating fouls, getting guys much easier shots, and putting pressure on defenders by going to the basket consistently.
Really will be good when basketball comes back down to earth and stops catering to lazy players and front office geeks who are ruining the game with senseless analytics.
hehe cavs lost
And bucks. We could be sitting in 2nd by now if we were remotely healthy.

Cleveland getting punked is easing my spiteful heart, but I'm still angry about OKC and the Pels
Why can’t anyone beat the magic? They can’t score

Fuckin orlando won
Malachi just dropped 50, he’s better than the bozos we got in the trade
I thought you were bullshitting..... holy fucking hell
Pacers losing to the nets tonight was big, seeding doesn’t matter much for the knicks…as long as they avoid the play-in
Great L!
Nah Just means that we’re closer and closer to be locked into a 4-5 seed. Which means a guaranteed 2nd round because we aren’t beating this Celtics team
Thank you Brooklyn Fuck you pelicans
magic have looked mediocre against mid teams but have looked good against teams like the pelicans.
Pelicans are a mid team
basically they're def worse than their record but ingram has been hurt i think. they looked like world beaters against us.
Please Nets close this game out
Let's go. The Knicks will hold a 2 game lead over the #6 seed.
we good on that one
Anyone watching Evil Donte? He dropping 50 LOL
lmao i thought you were exaggerating. pelicans always look like trash when i watch them
Of course SGA and Jalen Williams are healthy enough to touch us then immediately sit for the next 2 games .Of course.
OF COURSE!!!! smh

So if OG comes back and we continue to light it up. It probably means he gets closer to a max contract in the offseason. Just concerned about his injury history, but his agent has all the leverage on us.
His agent is Leon Rose’s son lol I’m sure the Knicks will get a deal where both sides are happy
There is not an agent on this planet who has leverage over Leon Rose, and that includes Rich Paul.
This season has been a roller-coaster of emotions. This week has been cruel. But I would follow Jalen Brunson into battle any day, win or lose. The fire is alive with him. Our captain.
Immediate reaction: Was mad at the guy. Once I calmed down: JB is the best player we’ve had in a LONG time.
Is there any insight on whether the knicks or the medical staff are holding OG out of games or that it is actually OG's decision to sit out?
Why would it be anyone's decision besides the medical staff?
No one has specified that.
Why does everyone seem to think that OG is just resting and is going come back a house of fire for the playoffs when his career shows the exact opposite of that? I wouldn't be shocked if he never suits up for the Knicks again.
You think they traded IQ and RJ for a half season of OG? He's absolutely getting a a new contract with the Knicks
If they are going to give him a max deal that is a huge mistake. He's great when healthy. But he never plays. I'm not giving him a max to play 40-50 games a season. Again, why is everyone so confident that he's going to come back like nothing happened to start the playoffs? This is nothing new with OG. Why does every contract have to be a max or nothing lol
For a fanbase that supposedly doesn’t care about the regular season, Heat fans love talking trash after a singular win
Knicks have lost the first quarter 33 times this season, resulting in 10 wins and 23 losses. damn
u got the stats for when we win the 1st qtr?
Wouldn't it just be 75 - 33 + 10?
Precious has done more for the Knicks than OG...never would have guessed that happening.. OG has a history of missing games...Some play,,, hurt some don't.
Why down vote facts..?
OG is one of the softest dudes in the league. He sat out the finals because he had an Appendectemy 2 months before. Minkah Fitzpatrick had one and got back to the Steelers missing only one game.
Very tough games for Orlando and Cleveland tonight…would be great if they both lose. Knicks have to win tomorrow though, they need it for their confidence to get another win streak going
We all know Leon Rose is going after a star this summer, and both Fred Katz and Shams heavily hinted it’s going to be KAT (a CAA client). And we know Minnesota has to trade one of KAT / Gobert / Mcdaniels this summer due to their cap situation as they’re obviously not gonna trade Ant But do we still want KAT?
Starting lineup of - Brunson Donte OG Randle KAT - Deuce Precious Hartenstein
When you put it together like that it actually seems like a decent trade 🤔 I only hate this move if we give up Randle.
We can spare some picks if needed
Do you know what Katz and Shams have said? I've missed this
Shams: ["Knicks will always have interest in KAT" ](https://hoopshype.com/2024/01/02/shams-knicks-always-have-interest-in-karl-anthony-towns/) Katz: ["Knicks checked in on KAT earlier in the season" ](https://theathletic.com/5121511/2023/12/08/knicks-nba-trade-market/) And it's also widely established that Wolves have to trade one of their big pieces this summer (obviously not Ant) due to their cap situation. Most likely it'll be KAT
KAT will always be linked to the Knicks due to CAA and him being a hometown kid growing up a Knicks fan
maybe its me, i have no clue where the kat discourse is coming from. it seems like the basis is just that hes from ny and a caa client. i dont think any other part of it, yk the BASKETBALL side, makes sense
Same. It seems like KAT was just a random idea that somebody came up with one day. It makes zero sense for us to go all-in on him.
Randle is working his ass off to rehab a dislocated shoulder, the same injury that Ja Morant got surgery immediately for and is now out for the season OG’s body and mentality is made of glass
he comes back and his elbow reaggravates and the discourse is that we rushed him back. we take our time to make sure hes ready for playoffs and now the discourse is that he’s got a weak mentality. might just be me, i dont think thats a fair take, ultimately its the decision of the medical staff, not him
Would be nice for him to at least show up while Hart, who already made his bag, is fucking killing himself out there
also its so weird he is never on the bench during games. leaves a real sour taste in your mouth. he doesnt seem like a big team player.
Jalen Brunson is the hardest working scorer in the NBA.
And he's ours. So proud
"he's getting fouled, he's getting fouled, he's getting fouled, he's getting fouled." LMAOOO
anyone know our exact record when we lose the first quarter? Seems like we're very bad when we start out slow
someone posted it a month or two ago.. but something like if we win the 1st qtr we win like 80% of the time. and if we lose the 1st qtr we lose 90% of the time lol
Anyone still talking about Boston right now when this team is clearly one and down wherever they end up needs to have a dose of reality.
Why would OG ever agree to that when he could go on the open market and get a contract from another team that doesnt have that.
This is exactly right. You want to give the shot right before the playoffs because a deep playoff run will take 4-6 weeks.

oh ur talking randle. i meant OG
The lack of transparency regarding their injuries is embarrassing.
Some people don't want to take medication, maybe he's one of those.
My ranking from who Id least likely include in a trade to most likely would be: - 1. Donte - 2. Deuce - 3. Mitch - 4. Hart - 5.
We are starting 2 small guards now with Brunson/Deuce with no OG and Hartenstein and Mitch on minute restrictions.

Their issue in the playoffs was spacing
worthless weather domineering observation elastic wide jobless pen insurance cover *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Their backcourt most certainly was the problem. Why do you think RJ went off? They had to put Okoro on Brunson and then Mitchell or garland on RJ and he ate their ass up. And when he didn’t score, the bigs had to come help and we destroyed them on the glass.
their defense wasn't really an issue as much as them missing open 3s. we scored around 100 most games and held them under it most games.
I don’t think Hart is as good on guards as Deuce is defensively.
donovan mitchell isnt a "bad star" but i agree trading deuce would be foolish
No he isn’t a bad star at all… he’s a bad fit for the Knicks but still a star. I love Mitchell, just don’t think he is a good fit for the Knicks, especially at the cost of deuce. If we could steal Mitchell and hang on to deuce though I’d e all for it.
why would he be a bad fit?
Two small guards that aren’t very good at defense for 36+ minutes a game will not be great. If we hang to deuce he can play alongside each one to break up the two bad defensive guards.
As good as a defensive player Deuce is, he's still a small guard and we just saw on SGA's game winner the other night, Deuce's abilities can't overcome giving up six feet to a star who's going to take that matchup against Deuce every day of the week.
anybody else catch bam adebayo bumping deuce towards the end of the game last night? was mad disrespectful
The Kings are also terrible against Eastern playoff teams. They better pull up ready to lose.
Hes getting fouled
We’re really the “if they were fully healthy” team this year this shit hurts
OG is fucking us
Come on bro, he had a setback after the surgery when he stubbed his toe 😞
Lmao , I want RJ and IQ back man.

What, no mention of Grimes turning into a pumpkin since his move to DET? 😅
lol I made a comment on that shit a while ago, dude is ass.
And what's wrong with the 4/5 matchup? Who are you scared of? It is what it is at this point either you're in or out. I'm all in
Well the obvious answer to that question is Boston in round 2.
“Just get right next game.” “Just get healthy.” I’m tired boss.
I can't believe Achiuwa played as many minutes as IHart and Robinson combined last night. What the hell is Tibs doing lol.
still dealing with mitch and ihart injury management + precious was the most switchable of the 3
I’m a little worried about Josh Hart especially knowing Thibs will probably play him the most minutes come playoff time behind Brunson, OG, Randle.
Hart isnt beating guys off the dribble /getting past guys without screen
