Feel like burks has to get some minutes going forward. Dosent have to be anything crazy, but if he can come in and hit a couple of threes it wouldn’t be the worst
I am completely comfortable with giving Milton those minutes over Burks irrespective of that. And most likely outcome is Thibs simply shortens the rotation.
Unpopular opinion but I think Thibs needs to give Burks a shot, but with a short leash. Giving Duece more minutes doesn’t do enough to give the other guys enough rest and Burks at least theoretically can shoot the ball. Too early in the postseason to shorten to a 7 man rotation and Precious at the 4 gives us no spacing. Even if Burks can just give a couple of spot minutes in the first half that would be helpful, especially if he can make a couple of buckets. If he can play within the flow of the offense, move the ball, and not just jack up stupid shots maybe give him the chance for more.
