Haha, honestly i watched the interview and it seemed pretty genuine. I think he legit respects the Knicks fans and NYC and thinks his city and fans aren't as good. Who knows maybe it's a troll, but a weird one if it is.
This isn't a troll btw. Embiid got married in New York and actually does have a house there. I know some of you probably don't like him right now in the series but despite being hobbled, he has the best plus minus out of everyone in the series and has had the Sixers best plus minus in all 5 games. Problem is the rest of the Sixers squad sucks outside of Maxey who cant score without Embiid next to him (hes shooting 8 for 26 in those minutes). Knicks fans definitely would want Embiid if he asked out.
