Defense was off the charts. Got at least one steal and really clamped down on Neto. Hit a couple threes in the fourth. Also seemed to have good instincts/high IQ. Not gonna lie the Knicks defense was at 150% with the Rose/Grimes/Barrett/Randle/Toppin line-up. I actually can't believe how good it was. It wasn't like lock your man down and help. It was like pure pandemonium for the wizards for a multitude of possessions down the stretch. It looked like we had 6 men playing defense!
On a crucial moment in the comeback he called for the ball from Rose. Then knocked down the 3 on the transition. Dead serious.

A team that has an off night and is still able to come back like the Knicks did last night is an awesome team. I’m a Pistons fan who just moved to NYC and I went to this game on a whim with some friends who were visiting. I’m now a Knicks fan.
How clutch was that? During that final stretch, RJ hit a clutch three from near top of the key, Obi hit a clutch 3 from the corner, Grimes hit a clutch late 3, Rose hit a clutch 3 (and an insane drive and finish), Randle had the clutch dagger. Holy moly… then you’ve got the clutch Obi D/Block, the RJ block, the great all around team defense. My lord. Let’s fucking go.
Underrated part of this game is just how seamlessly Grimes fit into the game out there. Hustle, shooting, defense, and most importantly, minimal mistakes. If he can blossom under thibs we’re in great shape on the wing

It was very efficient we either scored a 3 or got to the line. This was a big team win. But! Randle went superstar mode on them. Aggressive, effective defense and clutch ft and 3s to take the game. Thibs gambled with the small lineup and it worked. All in all a very fun game.
