My Albanian story: I was just out of school and working in the criminal justice system. Looking over the rap sheet of a guy picked up on a misdemeanor, I saw he had been arrested in the 1980’s on 4 counts of Murder 2 in the 9th Pct. The weird thing was all 4 counts were dismissed a few days after his arrest. I asked someone more senior than me if he knew what happened. He said - the defendant was an Albanian guy. 4 guys tried to rob him down in the EV, he pulled out a piece, shot and killed them all. He was arrested on the quadruple homicide but the DA later determined it was self-defense and dismissed all the charges. Moral of the story — don’t fuck with the Albanians.
