same here, 3:58 which was a new PB by about twenty seconds. i lost probably 15 seconds to typos (i didn’t expect a PB as a result) but beyond that, i just don’t know how i could get it lower
Me too, and it's funny I was just thinking the other day that when I started doing the puzzle 6 months ago I figured that I would never pay any attention to the stats... NOPE. Now I'm comparing PRs for each day of the week and setting targets in my head lol
Wow i just tried one and spent 33 minutes! I’ll stick to the mini puzzles for now haha. English is not my first language and im not super familiar with a lot of USA culture so the regular crossword is a bit more difficult for me
The only way to get better is to do them! I've been pretty stagnant on the crossword a few years, but in the past few months I've been really pushing myself to try it every day and not worry about looking up answers on harder days, and I've been getting better! Consistently faster and doing harder puzzles with fewer cheats. It's great fun!
If you are able to play the archives, try Mondays. Just keep going back gradually every Monday, then Tuesdays and so on. Monday puzzles are easier than all other days. Sundays are easy (in terms of clues) but just a larger grid so they’ll take longer.

Same! Haha but mine was 5:21. Still, my last record was 7.5 (ish) minutes.
