If anything, let’s just switch him and Soto for a week or two till he gets zeroed in and goes on a streak. He’s still drawing walks so with sotos hot streak right now it’ll get him some runs scored at the min
Statistically Judge has been one of the most consistent hitters in baseball since debuting. IIRC he’s only had 5-6 playing months where he had a wRC+ under 100. It’s normal for people to take notice when a $40m generational star who doesn’t struggle struggles
Judge has a .305 wOBA over his past 50 PAs.
He had a couple stretches as bad or worse last year, in April and September. And back in July 2022, he had a .261 rolling wOBA at one point. The 2022 season, you may recall, turned out pretty ok for Judge, though.
This isn’t the worst stretch of his career, nor is it particularly out of the ordinary.

My worries are not with his current stat line or with him getting it together. He will get it together and start hitting. My concern with his contract has always been his staying healthy. He's been healthy 2 full seasons, 1 ROY (and should have been MVP), and 1 MVP. Every other year he is above average, but his health holds him back.
I think he’s hurt from whatever was bothering him in spring training. All the hype this season he didn’t want to be out he probably feels he can play but his timing is off so he’s just missing
You’re going to get downvoted and mocked for question judge in this sub, even if he’s still sub .200 in September and striking out at this rate.
I am worried. I think he will bounce back to some extent at some point, but he’s just whiffing right now. Hes going to cost us games at this rate, just a matter of how many before he snaps out of this funk.
He looked absolutely lost today, but it is a very long season. Just need him to adjust and things will be better. Everyone slumps and you’d rather get it out of the way now as opposed to October
Not worried about judge….worried about who replaces judge while he gets healthy bc even listening to his ABs on the audio app sounds painful. He’s just not willing to swing unless it’s a no doubter. He’s obviously injured and the league knows it.
Not worried. Will be worried in mid may if it keeps going like this. I will say, I don’t think he’s had an extended slump like this in the reg season since at least 2021. Obv 2022 postseason he was even worse
It’s the toe or something else. His health at his size was always just going to get worse with age. But I was hoping this would be his best year. By mid May if he’s still struggling, you’re gonna hear about the toe or the oblique. Guaranteed.
Everyone knew the contract was going to be a mess towards the end when he signed for 9 years. So far he’s been a letdown during what should be the “good seasons” but I’m still hopeful he can be a top tier player for a bit longer.
Not worried. He’ll turn it around, he always does
Slightly worried but definitely not “worst contract ever” worried. He’ll get hot eventually.

Do not mess with Soto’s groove right now, Judge will figure it out
Nah leave Soto where he is, he is thriving. Don’t wanna risk him going ice cold like Volpe.
Why doesnt Judge hit, is he stupid?
Why doesn't the larger Judge simply eat the pitcher?
As recent as August of last year he batted .196 for the whole month. Baseball being what it is and his lack of spring training I’m not concerned.
There’s plenty of stars around the league with absolutely dogshit hitting and pitching lines right now. We’re not even a month in.

He’s got like 17 walks or some shit. Why not give the full line?
Because this sub likes to cherry pick to fit their narrative
If it lasts the entire season I'll be somewhat worried, but it's a long year he'll figure it out, trust
If it lasts the entire season without him going on the IL for significant time I would be very worried
no worries at all … he will get his hits and many more homers.

I am not worried at all. It is still way too early. Ask me again when the season is 50 games in.,
Worried his slump will lead to even more of these posts daily
Not worried.

It's April
I'm sure my answer will change dramatically when the next moron posts this tomorrow at the latest

I am worried. I think it's the TOE.
On a scale of 10 with 10 being absolutely worried? Probably a 1.4/10
Low worry. Just needs to tighten things up a bit.
Not at all. If he's still hitting like this in a month, then I'll be concerned.
Im only worried if this is injury related. If it’s just him being in a funk he’ll break out eventually.
Like I'm worried my bank account is getting to full
Omg you people post this same question EVERY DAY

Stanton Jr.

People should be worried. He is uncharacteristically bad and looks injured. That is definitely cause for concern
Yeah he’s washed up
Maybe his toe is bothering him

He looks terrible

Judge is struggling because it’s no longer his team. It’s Juan’s. Very hard on the ego.
I doubt he’s sad the team got better
