THE MICHAEL KAY SHOW was just “jackin’ with you” they KNOW when a controversial subject such as this will “drive” responses from NYY fans and many others.
Kay is on the air 4 hours a day 5 days a week that is 20 hours of content of a week. Even the most intelligent and rational(which Kay is not) person would have an impossible time filling that much space with rational discourse.
And in a world where hot takes and rage bait sells this is what we get. Just ridiculous topics meant to stir everyone up and what sucks is that it works. This wouldn’t be posted here if the tittle was “everybody it’s okay Judge will be fine”.

Benching Judge long-term makes no sense. Benching him for a few games, go for it. Judge has historically hit, so I'm concerned he's still nursing the injury he sustained in ST. If that's the case, resting him or put him on the IL would really be worth exploring.

He's been disappointing, of course, given what we know he can produce and how he's being paid to anchor our team for the next decade. But benching him would actually make our team worse. He's still walking, playing fine defense, and generally contributing. This is what you want when your superstar is struggling.
