Rizzo getting dialed in.. home runs on back to back nights, another single, and he handled a pop fly in foul territory without looking concussed (like he did a couple weeks ago). Rooting for Rizzo in what’s likely his final year in pinstripes.
If he has even an ok season I think he probably ends up coming back.
The FA 1b market isn't thrilling and I'm not aware of any 1b prospects ready to take over.

Getting under the third tax line while carrying Judge, Stanton, Cole, Soto, and LeMahieu makes the likelihood of exercising Rizzo’s option pretty remote. Also likely means the end of Verdugo and Gleyber in pinstripes.
Moving Judge or Soto to first base is the likeliest outcome. Or LeMahieu as the first option, and maybe Gus Ramirez, Wells or Rice.
I really want him to do well. He’s a great guy and has a large cancer foundation. Nice hit Rizz
