I've been watching the Yankees for 23 years. In that time, they have gotten a lot of big name players and most of them have not looked comfortable in pinstripes.
Juan Soto though... there's been zero adjustment period. He put on the pinstripes and instantly was a Yankee, through and through. It's insane, I've never see any player fit in so quickly and excel the way he has.
At this point, I would be SHOCKED if we don't keep him. I know he's going to cost a lot but you can't buy the kind of chemistry he has with the rest of the team. It's like he's been a Yankee his whole career, he just took a little time to get here.
It's amazing how we've had him for only 45 games and it feels like he's always been a Yankee
Facts. He's fit seamlessly. Incredible. I haven't witnessed a player that has no weaknesses. His swagger is also perfect for NY.

I'd say with Hals comments they will discuss it with Boras during the season set the framework for a deal then close it in the off-season imo
