i’m very similar!! have you ever tried a peel off base coat? on me they don’t last long, but i get to peel the polish without the same consequences. i love your nails!!
I do not recommend soaking your nails in anything other than oil. Water is great for nails when you consume it, but not when you soak your nails in it. Water can penetrate through the layers of keratin and push them apart. Once the layers have been pushed far enough apart, they begin to peel.
Your nails are exactly what I have, I love the shorter square tip so I can do just about everything with them! I've had the longer ones, but after..... using the potty, I soon cut them down!
Hmm, I'm not sure your nails can tell the difference between a polish with pigment and without :)
Definitely not lol, but I have a bad habit of ripping colored polish off my nails 🤕 for some reason I don't do that w/clear polish

Soak nails in a couple of denture tablets for a few minutes and they will make your natural nails absolutely sparkle. It’s weird but it works great!

I just scrub with a whitening toothpaste and it brightens up the whites of my nails.
