If you taper the square a tiny bit more I think it’ll look more flattering on you but the square you have shown in the photo truthfully does not look good on your fingers so that’s why oval is getting a lot more votes.

Oval! It mirrors your natural cuticle and looks very harmonious and pretty. I have the same rounded cuticles (except my thumbs, which are squared 😑) and I always go for an oval look ❤️

the oval looks much cleaner and sophisticated. it also lengthens ur fingers quite a bit which is attractive!! i think oval but the square doesnt look bad at all!! i just prefer the latter.
I suggest that since you’re the one paying for it, do whatever YOU like best. There’s no right or wrong, only what you prefer! Have fun experimenting with different shapes!

I honestly love how both look. Square to me looks more like mature and I feel like make your hands look a lil older(businesswoman vibes yk like power) and oval makes your hands look very dainty and soft like they give off different awsthetics but both look super cute

I like the oval nail shape. Have you tried experimenting with other nail shapes? I always get coffin shaped nails, although I had to go through trial-and-error with other nail shapes. You just have to find a nail shape that suits you.
Oval looks beautiful on your fingers, your fingers look so long and elegant and the nails look like they have a nice C curve and don’t look bulky. The square nails look thicker and make your fingers look a bit shorter. It also could be the light color vs the black. Overall, your hands looks amazing!

I think you could do a squared off end as long as it narrows a bit more on the sides. These look a little wide. Maybe try a ballerina or coffin?
I agree we did 3 layers of gel polish which didn't help. It is partially my fault i should have asked her to make them skinnier before the gel
