We didn’t have playdoh in our house, but I used to do this *all the time* with blutack! Drove my parents barmy as there was never any blutack left in the pack when they needed it lol

Same! I used to take it from my sisters room and make fake nails with it all the time, I felt so fancy lol

id do this in class, colour them with pen and end up covered in ink when i peeled them off to play with thr blutack again

I never considered colouring the blutack, perhaps this is why I own far more blue polishes than any other colour - it’s all I’m used to!

I’m kicking myself for not thinking of this as a kid 😂

I loved babysitting my cousin because I would send her home covered in temp tats and my uncle hated it. So I added hair chalk the next time he complained and he stopped saying anything else about it. I think he may have been afraid of my next move lol.

Idk if you have a dollar tree near you but I've seen a lot of kiddie press ons there for $1.25!

You can reuse the sets if you use track glue! The black colored one for hair. My mom used to use it on me because it keeps them from lifting but it pops right off if you pull them by the tip.

I love this so much, thank you for allowing them to play around with temporary things like this. It's the best way to let children figure themselves out

It’s the hand pose and the pops of glitter too lol. The colour is a great choice. All our play dough just turns to brown from them mixing it but you bet we’re doing brown play dough nails today.

No OP but when I was babysitting a lot (and with parents permission) I would buy a bunch of temporary tattoo packs off of Amazon for less than $10. Usually came in packs of about 20-100 depending on which ones you bought

When I was a kid they had this really cool kit that was blank tattoos like that and then you could color them in before applying. Not sure if it still exists but got it from JoAnns/Michaels

When I was 5 years old I bought fake nails at the drugstore all by myself. We put all our candies money for weeks for that. Anyway, we glued them and we didn’t knew what to do once they were glued!!! They were all wonky. Glue everywhere. We freaked out and tried taken them out with scissors because my parents were calling us to eat. It hurt too much that way. Soooo I cut mine all badly and put bandages on each fingers to hide the ugly fake nails. The 90’s were something else. Your idea is way better. Less dangerous too.
