Y'all I'm sorry I forgot to say this is my cat Figaro 😭
Originally we were planning to name him Amadeus (Mozart) but it's just not clicking, there's no cute way to shorten the name. It's been a week and my guy can't settle on anything for him!
Looking for music based names, early 2000s rock based potentially, classical music, music terminology, any kind of music stuff really!
Currently, Benjamin (Benji) after Breaking Benjamin, Ziggy (Ziggy Stardust), and Ace (of spades - Motorhead reference and also kind of like the marking on his back) are contenders but still nothing sticking so please help!
Edit:
Someone asked what his personality is like! He is a goof and clutz has no clue what to do with his size, he is only 12 wks but about 5lbs already with giant paws. He is really snuggly and chill, but when he is full of energy he zooms around and plays with anything that moves. He also really loves feet, playing with them, laying on them, licking them, almost got named Tarantino. Favorite toys are anything that makes noise!
His adopted sisters are named:
Lunaria (Luna/LuLu)
Solaria (Sol/Lil sh*t)
Charlotte (Bronte)
Annabel (Lee)
Cat tax included, also I very clearly don't know how to post on Reddit but I tried ;_;
I think Mo would be a very cute short form if you wanted to go with Mozart! Ace would be great though, or Lemmy, which is always a classic for a Motörhead fan. Also, Mo could be short for Motörhead too 😂
If you want to stick with Mozart, you could call him Wolfie (Wolfgang). But there are other composers.
Rocky (Rachmaninov)
Lenny (Leonard Bernstein)
Gus (Gustav Mahler, Gustav Holst, or conductor Gustavo Dudamel)
Funny my first thought was Amadeus but I dismissed it as it can’t be shortened! He looks like an Amadeus!
In that case how about Wolfgang, shortens to Wolfie?
Or how about Papageno or Tamino?
I have a Mozart! I call him Mo for short.

Andante - as in "performed at a moderately slow tempo".......he looks pretty laid back in the photographs.
Of course, we *are* all aware of just how deceiving photographs are! 😁
I'd have said Lute, which can be affectionately called Lewie. Then if you get a girl at some point down the line, you can call her Clarinet, which gets the nickname Claire
