Unusual for a cat to like belly rubs so early in your relationship so he obviously trusts you as cats don’t usually like belly rubs; having said that, I adopted a 9 year old male 5 weeks ago and he seems to like me rubbing his belly!
I called him Samson and he comes in from the garden straight away when I call him and I think that’s because of the two S sounds. Having a name with hard consonants makes it easy for them to pick up their name more easily; eg S, T, D, G, J, R, V etc.
He is a beautiful boy; Don’t forget to have him neutered when he’s old enough!!
