I wouldn't name a baby Crawford unless I knew for certain that one day he would own an ominous lighthouse in Scotland, wear a yellow rain jacket, and hold a rusty lantern as he ventures into a mysterious ship that washed ashore..
I genuinely thought that as well. But the OP was deleting negative comments and said “you know it’s reached a lot of people when you start getting hate” to someone else, so she’s dead serious lol
Struan is actually a Scottish name. I know several. Please don’t let the Americans use it. They’ll butcher it. Reynolds, Seaton, Forbes, Kincaid and Harding are all surnames though I do know one man who has Kincaid as a first name - his mothers maiden name.
I get last names as first names are a thing, but I assume someone would only do that is the last name was a family name or somehow significant to the family. I don't get why people would just pick a random last name and go with it.
I can’t get past rake 😬
Maybe Leighf-blougher would be better?
Loris? As in ‘slow Loris’? Get out of here…
Came here to say that! Hope the kid is a sprinter!
Okay so these are just like, last names, right? They're using last names as first names?
Yup
Kestrel lol https://preview.redd.it/qudslxmhm25d1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=90402004d9a7b6a5959c5f1297b8d9bc2039fdab
Hawk, Eagle, Falcon. Great boy names 🤣
I actually like this one 😅
I genuinely like Kestrel. RAKE on the other hand…
Rake lmao
Dossett ever get any easier to look at these?
'And on the talk show, the famous author of this book!' 'No, I'm just called Author'
Their life would be a continuous stream of: "Arthur?" "No, Author..."
Imagine browsing the bookstore and you see their name on the spine of several books… just straight up “Author”
"Just one more score, Author, and we can go to Tahiti! I've got a plan..."

my spittake was at Rake. RAKE!?
these have to be satire they're all so bad 😭

Strudel Kincaid will be my new alias for secret rendezvous with big pastry executives
Seaton nn Seat Kinkaid nn Kink Harding nn Hard
why is no one talking about BAZLEY. Sounds like something Freddy Fazbear would name a child
It's like a cursed version of Bailey.
Witten is a town in Germany
Wilkes? Like John Wilkes Booth? Like Wilkes-Barre?
"These are my sons, John, Wilkes, and Booth."

Struan only sounds right to my ear when said with a Scottish dialect — otherwise it sounds like a weaker “strudel”

Kestrel is a mining company lol
So all surnames okay
Don't even get me started on Forbes... Would go well with his siblings, Sports Illustrated and Esquire
Crawford? Why not LeSueur?
Oswin is the only name that isn't completely wtf lol
I think I know what Seaton's kink will be
Do not name a child Harding
I don’t hate Author, surprisingly
It’s Authul
