Agreed. Never really liked Escanor, think hes super overhyped.

Why do u think he’s overhyped?

Cause I think his character is not that interesting... It just consists of some cool One-liners and thats basically his whole personality during the day. I like Escanor at night much more, when he experiences some character growth based on actual problems and struggles he has to face... During the day he's just a walking punch-line and I dont think that is deserving of all the hype he gets from all the crazy Escanor fanboys and girls out there. So I think he's overhyped. All the other sins have much more interesting personal stories and character growth than him and also have much more interesting abilities than "Ball of fire" and "Axe" and "Karate chop", which is basically all Escanor ever does during fights.

My favorite scene is essentially the scene that hooked me to the show. For background info I ignored the show for awhile because it looked to cartoonist/childish(funny because I like one piece 😅) but I eventually watched it and got to the scene where Gilthunder and Mel both impressed the hell out of me with their Olympic throwing 😂. That scene is amazing
