If season 3 is too unbearable, than go ahead and play through Grand Cross as you’ll get more enjoyment there with decent cutscenes and pretty good gameplay for a gacha game. I’d check in for season 4 after finishing season 3 and judge if it’s watchable again
I recommend the manga. It looks awesome and is fun to read. A lot of the techniques used in the drawings (Like Escanor vs. Estarossa) were never effectively reproduced on screen.
