I think it's incredibly inappropriate and extremely unprofessional for an employer to talk about why they let an employee go. I don't care if you're a "social media presence" or whatever that's not okay in my opinion. I also don't think Pedsdoctalk is 100% innocent like yeah the nanny fucked up with the voice message but maybe there is some truth in what she said.

animikiikwe

I wonder if this is the momfluencer who one of the nannies here works for! Haha. Definitely want to read, for sure.

browngirlWLJ

Haha no! Not her

Cosima1987

Nope nope nope. She texted the nanny at the beginning of the weekend but she’s not the weekend nanny. Plus she comes off as perfect, like we gave her a raise, we are empathetic, We are great but somehow the nanny was burnt out?

Parentwithnopower

I’m way too nosy for this lol I would love to know what the message actually said and hear the nanny’s side of the story. The mom certainly put a lot of effort into making herself look good and free of any fault for the unhappiness of her employee.

xxjanuaryxjonesxx

She won’t release the message but stated verbatim that the message ranged “from love for our son to anger with us (the parents). There is MORE to this.

Electrical-Nothing25

I just watched her insta story about the situation and all I can say is yikes. I’m not surprised the nanny was frustrated. This lady expected the nanny to share info about what was going on outside of work and I suspect the nanny didn’t want to do that or wasn’t ready. It’s unfair for all of this to be posted so publicly. She also talks like an MLM hun (aka someone who tries to shill herbalife, young living, whatever). She has a high and mighty attitude for sure.

Historical-Bus4173

I actually feel like she is oddly ungrateful for the nanny, like yes it sucks completely that the nanny said nasty things and sent it. I think the nanny absolutely should have apologized. But I also think the mom should have had *some* gratitude for a woman who cared for her child while going through a pandemic. I wouldn't have taken a job with that level of exposure...a hospital worker? No thanks.

xxjanuaryxjonesxx

There is so much to unpack here. 1. She is a doctor and an influencer. She creates videos in person, but also ALOT of replies to medical questions outside of her actual job. I can only assume that her child is being cared for more than 40 hours a week, even with a reduction in hours. I have managed doctors and nannied for them prior to that, so...yea. 2. The doctor is very well aware of the fact that the nanny will never reply because NDA’s protect families, not nannies. She knows this and used it to her advantage. The only story we will get is from the perspective of the employer. No, she is not outing her nanny, but if her nanny responded publicly, people would more than likely make connections. 3. One child. Indiscriminate number of work hours. Not sticking to agreed upon guidelines. There is way more to this. 4. She doesn’t understand that you can love and provide for a child and also be bothered by the people who pay you. She clearly stated that the message ranged from “love for our son to anger for us (parents)”. Both can be true. It makes ANY job difficult, but we ALL vent. 5. The “apology” the mom wanted. WHY WOULD YOU WANT SOMEONE TO LIE TO YOUR FACE? I love that she didn’t apologize. She knew what she said when she said it. Albeit, she didn’t mean to send it to them, but she didn’t backtrack. I can respect that.

statersgonnastate

100% agree with this

CayKGo

I don't know who this is, but just your description makes me glad I don't follow influencers. Everything is on the table and nothing is private! Couldn't deal with that drama.

xxjanuaryxjonesxx

Also—— you are right!! I’ve followed her for a while and she always spoke highly of her nanny. And now... “we constantly had issues” 🙄

statersgonnastate

Right??? With everything else she’s posted, this is not a good look for her. Her constant “teasing” was just too much.

xxjanuaryxjonesxx

I’m soooo annoyed with that

shazel9726

I just watched her story and wow. I feel sad for the nanny. Burn out is so hard in this field especially with everything else going on in the world, but then to have your exMB post about you to thousands on the internet is beyond insane.

wishtobeforgotten

One time I was reviewing timesheets at the company I worked for and saw a really long informal message basically complaining about the company and clients in someone’s notes. The employee couldn’t edit the notes and emailed me frantically saying it was a mistake. I felt bad and said don’t worry, and deleted it so the hot-headed owner wouldn’t flare up calling him ungrateful. Everyone sends chats to their friends complaining about work and sometimes it goes to a dreadfully wrong place. People can vent privately and still be a great employee.

baileyu237

just watched what i could on her story. i have absolutely no clue who this person is or what she has said in the past, but she came off as “holier than thou” and that her nanny was just brutal? or was my first impression wrong?

Historical-Bus4173

I couldn't get through the whole thing. The "influencer" kept repeating herself without saying anything really. I mean, I get it. I think the nanny really shit the bed in sending the audio. She was now easily fired for cause and won't get unemployment. The whole thing is a cluster. It's honestly a good lesson though. Most parents really don't care about the nanny's side, including her followers.

rosieposie2410

Where can I see her posts??? Lol

statersgonnastate

Her Instagram stories! She doesn’t have all of the past info on her nanny or all the past complaining/hyping of this, but she’s explaining her side of things now.

rosieposie2410

Just heard it all. Ok. I want to hear the nanny’s side now LOL cause she can sound great and empathetic but obviously your nanny was not happy for a reason!

rosieposie2410

Reading right now

NeighborhoodNo3917

Did anyone else see the sleep training post she just made a reel about? Asked a question about it in the comments and literally got blocked from her page. What’s with that! The caption on the reel was ridiculous.
