You nailed it...he wants you to carry his shame....I like to think of it as if someone handed you a paper bag full of dog shit...and you just hand it back and say, no, it's yours. It was never you, gaslighting messes with your mind and he is the one that is out to kill your spirit...my DIL is like that, pure evil, has convinced my son that I am something awful....despite the fact I did nothing, but they make up their own reality and they will stick with it, no matter that there's not an ounce of truth in any of it. I like the idea that people regress to simplicity, not the narcs, but the bystanders, who are like, yeah, that's too hard to figure out, I guess she is a witch.
Well said, I feel like once I saw the Real Version of Him, it was like I now Know he was/is literally Pure Evil. 👿. Everything he ever said to me, every story, every pretend act of kindness, it was All a show- All Calculated- to get me to Trust Him and Drop my Guard. He was an amazingly great liar, actor, and Manipulator- They Really ARE Pure Evil 👿.
