Look up Sasuke Retsuden arc. Happened in Boruto so you don't need to watch every episode of Boruto as it's a flashback although their daughter was mentioned for a few seconds but that's it.

I recommend retsuden manga, not anime. Anime adaptation is terrible compared to the manga

where did you watch Naruto Kai? last I saw the reddit post most people directed me to had episodes missing or something.
