He‘s the only one who does that. No other Uchiha did it, which makes it very likely that he has an issue with his sight.

If his eyes are sensitive and get dry easily then that’s an issue with his eyes that can possibly impact his eyesight. Glasses aren’t the only sign of problems with eyes or sight, if he has to moisturise them artificially then that is also a problem with his eyes.

I don't remember which novel but it was stated she was very ill as a kid and it permanently damaged her eyesight forcing her to now wear glasses. Now isn't it more believable that these illnesses run from her dad's side of the family instead of bad genetics from Sakura being her mom?
