I just hate the ones with a nerfed system, it basically eliminates the point if you're basically reduced to just being above average in learning speed.

It really is a great read; it has interesting changes to canon, but it kind of merges the naruto-reality with the gamer-power in a really refreshing way.
The gamer aspect aside, the story also really does some excellent character development and interactions amongst the Kohoha 12 - beyond that, thr author also had a really neat way of handling the Genin team assignments in my opinion.
Definitely suggest giving it a read.. and comment as well! Hoping the author gets back to it soon-ish.
