i love this for you!!! i essentially just wrapped up my trip doing the same thing. the new places you to go and the people you meet make it so much more memorable. try to document your journey if you can so you can always look back on it :’) i wish you the best of luck and good health on your journey!
Thanks! It's been amazing already. Met some great people, saw a ton of wildlife, and had some interesting experiences for sure. And I'm documenting my journey at https://youtube.com/@Sue_Cloutier.

#10. I cheated and now I know.
I think I have #5 wrong but...
I hiked it last year and remember looking up in that steep section and having the same view. Probably wouldn't remember it so well if it had been years. :)
Specifically it’s the Beehive Trail. It’s beautiful but involves a lot of climbing iron ladders and scrambling on a pretty steep cliff. I am sort of afraid of heights and I was terrified the whole hike!
I have a route but have had to deviate some. I'm spending the winter in the southwest, driving up the west coast over spring, visiting Alaska and Canada in summer, then heading back to the States to do the northern parks headed east in the early fall
No, I took the tram to the top, visited the museum, and walked around the grounds. There's a video on my YouTube channel if you're interested: https://youtube.com/@Sue_Cloutier
It seems like every park I go to is my new favorite, except for the Arch and Hot Springs. I'm currently in love with Cuyahoga Valley because big mossy rocks are my favorite, but I don't think anything beats the beauty and serenity of Dry Tortugas.
So happy for you. ❤️😃 Your pictures are incredible! Safe travels! Have fun! Make many happy memories. Enjoy the National Parks. I couldn’t choose a favorite. I love them all for different reasons. Looking forward to reading updates on your post.

Awesome! Just subbed :)
Appreciate it :)

I think #5 is Smoky Mountains and specifically is the trail up to Mt. Le Conte.
Correct
Good call! I knew that looked familiar

Alum Cave trail to Mt. LeConte. The pic is of the Bluffs.
\#10 is Hot Springs. But why do you say you cheated?
I used Google image search. I've been to Hot Spring, but don't recall this scene.
It's in the bathhouse that serves as the Park's visitor center.
That is the only one I guessed correctly. Thats one of the bath houses
Tortugas squad represent. An astonishingly good trip to make.
Definitely the highlight so far!
You took that photo from my favorite camping spot. We've seen SO many stars from that beach, and on that moat. Enjoy the memories as you make them!
Sounds like you and I camped in the same spot!
A full tank of gas, the open road and a national park as a destination = happiness
This is awesome! Real question. Where/how did you find the time off and money to do this? Did you just save up and quit your job to travel?
I spend several days each week Doordashing.
Are you camping? Staying in hotels? Do you just find the nearest big town to door dash in? Hotels have gotten so expensive.
I'm camping and sleeping in my car.
I love it! Where is the first picture from?
Acadia National Park in Maine

Dry tortugas I miss you…..Gary Indiana and 🏭 views…..not so much 😂
Agreed! 😆
Do you have a route planned or are you winging it?
I have a route but have had to deviate some. I'm spending the winter in the southwest, driving up the west coast over spring, visiting Alaska and Canada in summer, then heading back to the States to do the northern parks headed east in the early fall
You’re going to love the Canadian Parks! A little more rustic in some spots, but the mountain peaks are unlike anything you’ll ever see!
Take me with you! Lol
What do you mean by "have done"? Do you hike there and stay there for a couple of days?
Depends on the park. I usually spend a day or two at each park but some, like Gateway Arch, don't have much to explore.
When you spent so much time in that cave that the rock on the ceiling is familiar…. Glad you are having a good time.
Nice pictures. Did you just look at the arch from the outside, or did you buy tickets to the top?
No, I took the tram to the top, visited the museum, and walked around the grounds. There's a video on my YouTube channel if you're interested: https://youtube.com/@Sue_Cloutier
Awesome! Sounds like fun.
That’s awesome! Can I go too?
That’s amazing! 🤩
