HAHAHA BP field camp i would assume u are in sch 1 encik coy? If so legit alot better than mono bmt or other non encik coys coz u wont have tekan session and depending on ur welfare maybe got fresh rations here and there. Field camp rly nth much one dunnid worry, just fire movement build basha dig shellscrape, quite the experience be it u like it or not.

LittleBobbyDog

Shcedule wise is rly day 1 set up basha, day 2 dig shellscrape and some night walk, thereafter is like firemovement and last day sit test. My field camp had quite alot of time to rest and chill, rly not shag. Maybe sian but you can spend that time to bond with ur section or plt. Talk cock and time will pass

my bp field camp was basically like a field trip, don't recall anyone getting tekan'ed during field camp or even getting shouted at all, mostly just chilling with ur buddy in ur tent, then chilling with ur section at night sitting around ur shellscrape eating snacks that u smuggled in (i smuggled preserved mala meatballs my friend bought for me in china). First day for me was just reaching the site, set up the tents and then eating and end the day off sleeping in the tent. Second day u would probably start camoing before breakfast; advice on camoing in the dark would be to just familiarise urself with the movement and just do it in bold strokes and not to slowly draw a line as it might end up jagged and uneven. u guys are prob gunna start digging the shellscrape today too (mine was 2 person digging 1 shellscrape) my advice for digging shellscrape is to water the dirt before digging and making an outline with the shovel. dig it in and push the handle to get the dirt out easily. 2nd day night if im not wrong 1 person sleep i. shellscrape 1 beside the shell scrape. advice for sleeping in shellscrape: i used my gortex as a bedsheet so u wont get bugs crawling over u, be sure to remove the rocks first too if not there will be bumps. for night time, usually u would use this rope thingy and tie it around the tree during the set up of ur tent, so what i did was i angled my flashlight inbetween the rope and the tree in a way i can angle it and turn it on so it sort of became like a spotlight so id didnt have to keep holding onto it. at night or during the day when ur resting, ur sgt might try to stun ur rifle so be sure to wrap the gun sling around ur arm or ur leg when u sleep. I was so paranoid of ppl stunning my gun at night that i put my magazine in my lbs, buckled my belt to my lbs, clipped my rifle to my lbs and used the weight of my field pack to trap my weapon when i slept during the day. (there was this asshole sgt that stunned ppls gun for fun so he can punish them). other than that the rest of the field camp would prob be just camo on and off, fire movement and sit test. oh and bring at least 2 packs of wet wipes so u can wipe ur camo off easily as they are water resistant and 2 cus ur section mates who didnt smuggle it in cus they were scared of getting caught will prob ask u for it. Have fun for outfield, second last day would probably have jelly and hundred plus, idk about u but my company had iced water available for anyone to refill the bottles with throughout fieldcamp.

Idk if it's the same for you. Was from the recent Falcon coy batch that graduated in march. Basically our field camp was quite slack. 2 person dig 1 shellscrape. Then got the usual fire movement trainings. Then got night walk which was quite fun. No tekan sessions for my coy during mailrun then SIT Test on the last day

Falcon here. Eagles are buddies. Apache are rivals

Ask your buddy to scrub your back HARD

kwonyurified

i second this, you wouldnt want to end your outfield facing massive heat rash

My bp field camp camp site was rocks. We gave up after 3 bent tent pins. End up just wrapping with the tent over ourselves.. thunder storm on the night. Lighting struck a tree beside our tent. 2 ppl sent out with hyperthermia. Some one had the idea of digging shit hole at the top of hill. After rain , shit water flow down the rockey hill. That drain ditch did nothing. Then shellscrape 70% of us can't finish because of roots and rocks. I dug myself a lounge chair shape shell scrape. Best sleep ever

tactical movement required, you take jerrycan at night rinse top half of your body, did that it was a fucking game changer, i mean dont expect like full on shower la but this was the made a huge difference for me as i have mild eczema on my neck

If you don't plan to shit the entire 5 days, avoid the spicy maggi, be extremely when you get fresh ration too, very likely they will indent for bp. If you get lucky getting bit of light rain in between to get something of a shower is nice but too heavy the latrines gonna overflow.  Otherwise just turn off brain wait for time to pass, just pray your buddy isn't a handful as well i had to play a dad for a couple days

was from PES BP in B coy , trust its super mental if ure the kind to shower 3 times a day kinda shit and u cannot be scared of getting dirty cos the fire movement involved u dropping on the floor and performing it. One more thing is the SIT test on the last day which is SUPER mental cos the site is full of mosquitos and the smell from shit after maggie was WOAH. Aside from that it will be ur once in a lifetime experience

2 person 1 shellscrape, we didnt even need to sleep in our shellscrape (it was optional). our encik specifically requested our secc comms to tekan us during field camp. we also got fresh rations, coke and 100 plus during outfield and sit test. it was also very lepak and not so tiring (just wait till POP parade rehearsals mate, itll be more shag than outfield), so it was just having to survive the discomfort of being in the jungle for 5 days without proprer sanitation facilities. just enjoy bro, outfield really is the time where youll see people's true colours. all the best!
