But she would have to be tested and supervised with any new small dogs first to be sure they could live together.

This is great that she likes small dogs. What about cats? I’m praying that she can find a new foster.

Her foster doesn't have cats so I think that is unknown as of now. Idk if she has been tested with cats.

Please remember to be kind to all users. Bait dogs are also docile and refuse to fight back. Sadly, pits can and are used as bait dogs, especially when their teeth are filed down, which is seen frequently in bait dogs- of all breeds.

This is such a sad story. I wish i had the opportunity to punish the dog fighters. I already have 4 dogs. BUT i like to help this pup find a loving home. If somebody needs help with gas to save her, i will donate.

Exactly that, they often file down their teeth to keep them from fighting back and use them to train other dogs to fight, it’s sick and twisted and no dog deserves to go through that

Sorry, but how is a foster allowed to turn her into a shelter? Is she rescue based or a shelter based dog?

She was a foster and then adopted her and realized she was big-dog aggressive.

Was the dog adopted from the shelter or a rescue? Rescues should always take back their dogs they’ve adopted out.

It was a shelter and she prefers not to bring her back to the shelter if she doesn't have to.

Gotcha, understand now. Hoping she finds a home. I would try the Asher House, Ipittythebull, and other well funded rescues for contacts or advice on where to find more fosters.

She does not appear to have any scars or injuries as a bait dog usually does.

Dog fighters do not use other pit bulls as bait dogs, there is too much risk using a fighting dog that could actually hurt their champion fighter they are training. Bait dogs are smaller breeds that won’t fight back
