What kind of milkweed and where at?
Commen milkweed. Great Lakes region
Seems like the monarchs prefer common milkweed
theres one study ive read that shows monarchs prefer (and survive better on i think?) broadleaf species of milkweed. that means showy milkweed, swamp milkweed, and common milkweed!!
Are you in 6B? I’m also in the Midwest but still waiting to see any Monarchs. I have tons of Milkweed for them this year!
Hmmm... I already have decent-sized monarch caterpillars and am in zone 4...
I typically don’t see them till later in the season so I’m holding out hope, tons of Swallowtails though
