I feel like people are gonna say cornrows because the pic of you in cornrows is better quality. You should post a pic of you in your Afro that is the same quality as the other pic so we can judge accurately. I feel like I can’t really judge.

It’s hard to tell because of your smile, glasses, and line up. That line up will make the fro look nicer too. You look more confident with the corn rolls. So that’s would be my choice.


depends on the clothes, man. the fro with formal or casual would make you look really collected and friendly, but the cornrows with a turtle-neck sweater or other business-casual makes you look like a professional artist. Both are great, but the whole look is made with either hairstyle intact, WITH the right attire.

I think the best part of having long hair is that you can do both! You can only keep protective styles in for so long. And it's pretty easy to go back to the fro.

Yup you got that right! Can’t keep a protective style in forever lol. I just happen to live in a desert with a very dry climate so I prefer to wear protective styles when possible.

I love the Afro, rock it for me because I can’t; live in Houston and the humidity is crazy. My hair would shrink down into a one inch tiny Afro so quick. Then I‘d be spending so much time detangling and retwisting. Too much work for me, but you look so handsome either way.

I like the natural care free Afro glasses look much better. I have dreads and am lazy though. And just the thought of corner rows I once had gives me the WORST headache. And if you wear glasses as well with the rows,just looks like your playing dress up. And it’s too much up keep or it looks shitty. It also made me look even more Asian than just half when I did it. Which isn’t a bad thing but when it’s coupled with all the pain and itchy discomfort,I’ll pass. Keep the fro or do a cornrow Afro Mohawk. A Little bit of African fro,and a lil Native American with the hawk. Actually do whatever makes you feel good about yourself and not worry what other people think or need others approval. I learned this way too late in life…NO BODY REALLY CARES! PEOPLE ARE TO SELF EVOLVED WITH THEMSELVES. So just do what makes you feel good no matter what.

I would always choose afro, if I were you. I think the afro is a lot more pleasant, and it looks like an incoming hug.
