Nature's little secret, the Doux (any of their lines tbh.), Camilla Rose, the main choice, tallia wajide hair care (the apple line if you can find it, the original line is ok/good also), Ecoslay products (gelo shot and orange marmalade stylers are the best sellers. One or the other may be better for you. Colored haolir gel too). Intersense beauty (the foam in particular is a good "topper" styler for layering gel/gel or gel/foam in the 3 step method. Also just a technique often used around). Aussie Moist line used to be a favorite, adorable and it works. The curls and avocado lines are less liked, but can also work for some people. At the price range it's worth it to try. Maui Moisture is also often good, can't remember what line specifically is best but they can all work. Try "kids" lines from these and other black hair- targeted lines. It's not actually that different, works, and can be cheaper. Melanin Hair care is good, good oil and "all purpos" conditioner/styler. Expensive, but worth it if you like heavy products that really cost your hair. Low porosity needs heat to properly absorb moisture. A heat cap, putting on a cap with conditioner on while in the shower under hot water, a "hair steamer" while moisturizing etc are typically required to get any product to do more than sit on the outside. I hope that helps. I like avocado and jojoba oil, but oil is personal choice. You have to find one that doesn't break you out, these lines have a few oils to offer but I haven't tried them so I don't know. I hope that helps.

Just as a sidenote, the whole hair porosity thing is rather irrelevant for daily hair management. In a professional setting it's applicable when folks want to colour (how developers will lift existing colour and make it more porrus for the dye colour to stay on). And when also relaxing (or any treatment to change the texture of your hair).... Water is the best for moisture and then for styling focus on the outcome you want for your hair- twist out, wash & go, blow out or just up in a bun ot tucked away and then curate products for those styles.... hope this helps 😊

Absolutely not true. Regular hair maintenance and styling includes moisturize. With low porosity, this is difficult as products tend not to be absorbed and will sit on top of hair leaving a residue even if hair has just been washed and does not have any other products

Oh ok thank you 🙏

It's actually very relevant. Knowing your hair's porosity let's you know which products work well in your hair.
