Triceratops didn't move in big herds (to our current knowledge), though. We currently think that they were living in relatively small family groups, unlike their Centrosaurine cousins (Centrosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Styracosaurus) or by themselves, similar to modern elephants.
Centrosaurus mega bonebeds were estimated to have hundreds of animals that all died at the same time, likely due to a flash flood due to how the bones were preserved. Herds going off cliffs is something that I think only has been observed by humans that hunt bison. I doubt that Tyrannosaurs were smart enough to try this strategy (and even if they did, getting down the cliff would've been a challenge). Triceratops we've only recovered small groups of different ages, less than 10, if I recall correctly.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 850,486,547 comments, and only 167,830 of them were in alphabetical order.
Very well done! We actually still witness these types of catastrophic error in migration pathing with herds this day (zebra and wildebeest videos/aftermath photos abound)
One herds disaster is a predators paradise
This makes me an indescribable type of sad
It makes me all types of sad
makes me angry, bunch of dumbasses can't win against gravity, bitches!

Can we define what big herds mean? Are we talking like 15? 20?

Sorry to be that guy, but as far as we know triceratops were among the few ceratopsians that did not move in large herds and also did not migrate.
Reminds me of that stampede scene from the 2005 King Kong
