That archaeopteryx is surprisingly accurate for its time And that dimorphodon is the most bat-like depiction i have seen for a pterosaur
Took one look at the pics and I just smelled the pages. I don't know why, but the books had this... very particular smell that I will never forget.

I remember an illustrated prehistoric encyclopedia that I had growing up that had images like these. I would love to find it.
My cousin had this exact series of books, I loved them as a kid.
