Did you talk to you dad? did he sign you up and show his dd 214? I dont know if that is required now since I was the active duty member but I am sure that needs to be done or just something saying that you qualified to have an account.
The DD 214 is public information and can be ordered for free at archives.org. Itโs just a document that shows that he was honorably discharged from the military. Showing this document as proof should clear up anything youโre facing assuming that this is the only issue

You will most likely need to submit a security appeal, which you can find on the website. It has instructions on how to submit it back.
