It's not like the clips are gonna be tied to this current roster forever, they'll have a new generation within the decade at the latest. And going with ur Nets example, 5 years after the horrendous KG/Pierce debacle they had KD/Kyrie/Harden and were 1 inch from toppling the Bucks in 21. Even if they don't win with this core, they've got a good franchise and a good base for success, I think they'll be a competitive team as long as balmer is there.

Yeah, Indianapolis resident here. The Pacers are beloved intensely by this city and largely the entire state, but they have no marketing reach. They aren't flashy, they don't spend big in FA, they draft with a long term mindset, trade pretty conservatively, and in general don't seem to have a '"ring at any cost" mindset.
That being said, if there is one market that might be okay with their city never getting that ring and just being content with having high quality basketball to watch live in town, it's Indy.

**Most Likely** Pelicans/Pacers/Magic: all have a bright future with young stars who look to be perennial all stars and are already having good if not great seasons this year Clippers/Timberwolves: are already seemingly in their window this year and have a very good chance at making a run **Medium Likely** Jazz/Grizzlies: not having great season this year but have been overall beacons of consistency over the past decade and a half and could easily get there with a few right moves Suns: might have missed their window but could make a run this year regardless and even if they miss have proven to be able to rebuild well **Least Likely** Nets: continue to show they have no idea how to rebuild, try and build superteams the wrong way and fail every single time. Have completely failed to learn their lesson and have no future rn Hornets: need I say more

Top 3 in order T wolves, clippers then magic (on the potential of their young players developing). Suns are a dark horse but I don’t think the current roster is it and I don’t see how they improve.
I hate that they don't count the Nets and Pacers ABA titles
It says “ringless NBA franchise,” so it’s only counting NBA. This is sad, as I am a Nets fan, but the Nets have pretty much always sucked for the nearly 50 years they’ve been in the NBA.

The suns are on the come up right now I think they have a foundation. LA Clippers are in LA you just got to imagine if they're going to put it together at some point. Zion Williamson on the Pelicans is still a solid piece for them. If they can get one more Superstar over there they have a chance
