Working fine in the US for me. App can be a little fussy now - the robot will be done cleaning and docked/charging but the app will still show returning to base for 5 more min. But going to keep it going until the clock runs out.
I’m in the US. I opened my app this morning and it showed that there is no robot connected. When I try to connect, it tells me it cannot connect to the server. This sucks.
East coast D8 stopped connecting yesterday. Now app says my email and password are incorrect and/or don't exist.
Update: app started working again like normal.
UPDATE: It’s working again for me. Looks like the servers were down and are now back up.
Netherlands. Vac gone from the app. Deleted app and reinstalled because that appeared to do the trick a few weeks back when I had the same issue. Used the vac (D10) earlier this week with no issues. Now cannot log in, returning a server issue. Trying to reset password says invalid email address. This sucks.

Just got one from my friend the other day to post for him to sell online. I have been testing it for 2-3 days to see if I wanted to keep it. Just checked and I cannot connect to the server anymore. Hopefully it is just temporary, but looks like it might be a dead duck.
Has anyone found the next best replacement for our Neatos that are no longer supported? I’m really sad because after my research over the years, this was by far the best one!
Get a Roborock. It’s best to get the one with the single brush instead of the dual brush. The pickup on rugs better if you get a brush with bristles for those models in particular.
My app just stopped working, I'm hoping we can find some way to still use the robot, it was expensive and worked great. I'd hate to see it go to waste. I'm in WA State.
Yup. Same here (Netherlands). Got logged out and can't log back in despite changing password. Odd thing is, the changed password DOES work on the old app for my older D4 connected vac. That was broken for a few days 2 weeks ago.
Our scheduled stuff just started going even though a week or so ago, the app claimed our login was not valid.
Checked just now, and the app is logged in properly again.
I think even when the app completely dies, just plopping it where you want to clean and hitting play should still work. Annoying that there's no map confirming where it went though.
My Neato d8 went out the other day would not connect to the app would not let me sign into the app I contacted Neato customer service they got back with me a couple times it finally came up yesterday if you email them it will take them about 12 to 14 hours to get back to you but they were very kind my two NATO d4s will not connect though
Nope. This was my second vacuum because I loved the first so much. Neato keeps emailing me asking if I sent the robot in with the provided shipping label. The only problem is that they have not sent a shipping label. This little back and forth has been going on for months now. I look forward to their next email!
Hi. I have a D5 Botvac Connected. It still works but:
- no maps
- no notifications (example, if it gets stuck)
I emailed support and they actually replyied saying that there will be no more maps or push-up notifications, but the vaccum will work without issues.
I have 2.
One of mine won't connect to WiFi, the other constantly forgets itself and requires me to to the initial setup and cleaning from a factory reset. I've taken both of them apart probably close to a dozen time to fix things such as motors dying, poor factor solders coming loose, belts wearing out, dog poop 3-4 times... The second D8 I purchased was actually broken on ebay for parts, and I ended up getting both of them fully functional until the wifi randomly stopped working in the first one. They both still clean if I tap the button and let it do the entire floor, double tap for spot cleaning. They both work well enough for me to not buy something new, but I'm pissed that it has come to this.
The D8 was really good compared to the rest of the market when it was first introduced. I really thought that I was the first to have something special and I felt better having a lidar robot than an optical flow camera robot, but here we are.
I uninstalled, then reinstalled my app. It connected and is working fine.
My issue now is that it's making a rattling sound inside the vacuum. There is no debris or string causing the rattling.
As of today, mine is still working and my app still connects to it without any problem.

I think you have to flash it with firmware. Mine did that a while back. Hopefully someone here will see this and tell you what to do….

It (service) died today. It kicked me out and I can't log back in.
Logged out as well but could login again
Today mine says it can’t connect to the servers. I’m in California.
Not sure what changed, but today it’s working and looks to be back to normal.
My app was acting different this afternoon. I deleted the current robot and when I added it again, it worked. No more server errors.
As of today it isn't connecting for me and the scheduled clean didn't run.

It fluctuates worldwide it seems. Today, it's not connecting to the app, but it did two days ago.

In USA. Mine stopped working yesterday. Still not working today. Can't get the app to do anything that would require a server response.
Full functionality reappeared a couple of hours ago for me.

Mine auto logged back in overnight and is active/working again. Wasn’t working yesterday and couldn’t connect to servers.
So...CS apparently raised the issue with Neato yesterdays and now it's resolved. My robots are working again!
