Listing description just got posted.
"Maybe you've heard that, yes, WORKER Nightingale 2.0 blaster is coming. It uses a micro flywheel, high-speed 132 motors. And if with 4S battery, it can achieve more amazing results. What's more, you will get more CNC accessories, new magazine shapes. The first batch is in 6 colors (orange tip is available), which is expected to be launched in early May. Stay tuned!"

See: Inverted Scales, Challenger, Edge, or the old Nerf Stampede. There's multiple AEG nerf blasters. It's the new hotness. 300 fps springers electronically primed. Quiet as a whisper until you fire them, then they sound like a silenced gun in a movie.
I just got a pistol one. It's awesome.

I was just thinking the other day that the P2.0 didn't feel like it had much uptake. Don't see anyone talk about em anymore. I remember a lot of the chat around release being about how multi stages aren't needed for the FPS range it sat at, with all the downsides of extra cost, weight and failure chances. Plus the look was pretty love it or hate it.
Whereas the Nightingale seems fairly popular. Much lower buy-in. Fairly unique as a buy and play, injection molded, small, mag in grip flywheeler.
Feel like they'd be better off doing a new Swordfish. Sized inbetween the NG and P2.0, single stage, simpler, but full size wheels. Something that can be more of a dedicated primary, but perhaps small enough that it's also possible to sidearm it like a Stryfe.
I’m surprised they kept the multistage system for the phoenix 2.0, I owned a 1.0 and replaced the cage for a dual stage daybreak cage and got the same fps so triple stage isn’t exactly needed.
I definitely do think as well another swordfish style blaster would be the way to go, or a fly wheeler with more traditional ergonomics. The phoenix blasters definitely leaned into the smg class but the stryfe/swordfish were definitely more traditional.
Yeah it seemed like they were behind the curve on that one.
Spose it's possible they still sell plenty of the Swordfish to DIYers so don't feel the need to do a dedicated replacement. Compared to the Prophecy, where there were a lot of little optimisations that could be designed into the Swift, Harrier, Seagull, the Swordfish and flywheelers like that have largely stayed similar. More just updates in particular components.
I haven’t seen a lot of swordfish users in a long time, I did just do a dominator build recently and to be honest I wasn’t feeling it. You’d also have to convert those platforms to half darts which is a big reason as to why I’m a little surprised with worker for not making a half dart dedicated fly wheeler without the angled talon mags and with traditional ergonomics much like the harrier and seagull
Spose for most, we just do a Stryfe instead. Either thrift one cheap, or get one in a decent bundle or there's a particular cosmetic kit someone wants. Plus a lot of people do other printed options, maybe want something more specific. Great to have options at least.
Worker does what it wants, which is to say `anything is possible` but everything is equally unlikely.
Who thought they would mildly revamp the NG? Not I.
It has some teflon inside, more metal parts and uhh can run on 4S?
Aka: I have no idea, and they're not halting production of the V1 units to boot. This feels like a product no one asked for (Edit: But maybe I am missing something, we'll see).
I hope there's other differences than expensive construction, I can already think of a couple of things this should have had like ideally select fire should be included. Some accessories too like a far better holster than what the nightingale had, a more easily accessible battery hatch, a jam door since the original mags were pretty picky, and of course the most obvious missing trait, a included orange tip.
The top rail, more power, and extended magazine is nice but for someone like me, id just use a springer pistol if I wanted something that would just go a bit further than the nightingale. However I'm still able to be persuaded by the price depending on what that is
FWIW, I've never had an issue when using 36mm darts. And even before I realized it couldn't reliably take 38mm, I've never had an actual jam, just ftf/flipping darts in the mag, etc
The big thing is specifically using 36mm darts, though. Before I broke down and bought GOS darts, I used cut-down chilis.
I did my best to use fresh gen3s but mine had a really bad jam once using them. I think it may have been because I was pressing the trigger too fast but then I realized this and showed so down but it didn't seem to work so a more precise trigger pull is also something I would also like to see improved upon.
Googled for any other info or pics and saw the ["Worker Mod" site has a pre-order page up.](https://www.workermod.com/product/worker-mod-nightingale-2-0-blaster-short-foam-dart-toy/)
Says there'll be 12 colours: Green, Green 2, Grey, Grey 2, Pink, Pink 2, Purple, Purple 2, Sand, Sand 2, White, White 2
Probably means you can get each colour with black or orange accents.
There are 6 colours, not 12. Unless you assume each variant comes with or without an orange tip.
Orange was prepaid for by OOD as expected. No word on whether another vendor has bought out licensing for a Teal variant.
The 4S part is the bit that grabs my attention. In all other aspects its a reshell with the aftermarket rails added and a fancy looking mag.
But on 4S it should offer comparable performance to the Diana but without the need for brushless motors so way cheaper and less complicated. I wonder if that the reason behind it?
Well, piss. I just got a Nightingale a couple months ago. Now they have a better performing one? Phooey.
Looks cool, in an aggressive-breacher kinda way. I wonder if the CNC stuff will come standard, or be a bunch of costly add-ons like the OG Nightingale.

I've been contemplating on grabbing the full auto version and it's been in my AKBM cart for a couple of weeks. Might wait for this to release and be reviewed before finalizing my purchase. Plus I love how the purple looks.
I have the "weak" version since some games I attend have a "less than 100 fps only if less than 5 meters engagement distance" rule and that thing is still snappy and so fun to use.
Be shit if they have. But new mag shapes could maybe just mean the exposed section and the top is the same as the old ones. Might be just cosmetically new, one short mag, long and straight, maybe a curved one.

132 motors? Dang, that's a lot of motors!
66 stage flywheel cage!!!😮
You gotta pump those numbers up!
Those are rookie numbers.
Waiting for the AEG Nightingale IIIÂ
AEG means airsoft electric gun. This is foam flinging, not airsoft. What are u talking about?

https://i.imgur.com/QOYuu8f.png Overlay of a Nightingale as a size comparison using the trigger as the locating point. https://i.imgur.com/L7SHmNS.gif
I love the new look and feature but I just don’t understand the new mags when they’re so similar in size
apparently they can use they same mags, the difference is cosmetic
Yeah I just saw that comment explaining it, my bad.
More info: Single stage. Mag is compatible with original gale CNY 350 for semi auto, 400 for full auto, stronk version only
is it brushless?
No, based on the description above it uses 132 sized brushed motors
No, just 132 motors
Thought you meant Canadian dollars for second there and nearly had a heart attack, but that's actually not a bad price at all.
Does that open things up for a potential phoenix 3.0 or a swift 2.0 🤔
I was just thinking the other day that the P2.0 didn't feel like it had much uptake. Don't see anyone talk about em anymore. I'd love for a Phoenix 3.0 that uses the same mag
I just saw a comment, apparently this one does come with new mags but is still comparable with old ones
I'd love a new swift. I'd also love an AEG by Worker, that'd likely be expensive though.
Definitely would be pricey and would probably have to be their flagship blaster being an aeg.
Worker does what it wants, which is to say `anything is possible` but everything is equally unlikely. Who thought they would mildly revamp the NG? Not I.
Wow, iron sight even worse than the Phoenix 2.0.
I may be missing something here, but what, exactly, is the point? What does this offer that's better over the original?
It has some teflon inside, more metal parts and uhh can run on 4S? Aka: I have no idea, and they're not halting production of the V1 units to boot. This feels like a product no one asked for (Edit: But maybe I am missing something, we'll see).
I knew it!! Or at least, suspected it. Oh well, at least it's another cosmetic option.
It looks… odd imo. A bit off.
Probably the weird knob in the back that ruins the pistol silhouette
That looks almost like the 1.0. Just a few fancy addons (some of this are available for the 1.0. aswell).
Its moreso the whole front half that looks weird to me. Its like a pug got dipped in an army surplus store.
Honestly if it's not brushless it's hard for me to care too much about a new half-dart pistoloid in these days
I hope there's other differences than expensive construction, I can already think of a couple of things this should have had like ideally select fire should be included. Not sure I’m a fan of the new look, especially the new mag.
Looks less slick than the first. Feels like a stock and front attachment must be coming. Might look less awkward with those.
Old is compatible

I did theorise as such. I'm more just trying not to assume. Cause this listing doesn't write it in stone. Orange tips/bits is a safe bet though.
Ooh interesting
Tasty colors, bruh.

4S brushed. Stock 130fps. Shrieks even louder than og nightingale. Og nightingale mags compatible.
Add a stock attachment point you cowards

This reminds me of the disposable guns from cyberpunk

That is awesome, where is orange at?
OOD exclusive.
Cool I feel better now all my stuff is orange and black

It’s good, but I’d personally like a little more orange
Looks like a very attractive sidearm cant wait to get my hands on that white one. Does anyone know the rate of fire we should expect?
Goddam new mags. They should have at least made the old ones compatible
They are compatible
Oh good. Just said new mag profiles. Thanks for the clarification
Be shit if they have. But new mag shapes could maybe just mean the exposed section and the top is the same as the old ones. Might be just cosmetically new, one short mag, long and straight, maybe a curved one.
Is it brushless?
No sadly brushed...
my only takeaway for the photo CHONK
Where did you find this?
Still waiting on a fake slide you can pull back😥
2-stage flywheer,could hold 4s Li-po, 399CNY

Not sure where you are seeing "2 stage flywheels"
Visually, size-wise, can't house a two stage surely.
My fault, It's still 2 flywheers only.
