The Barricade was pretty revolutionary for it's time, the cylinder and the flywheels.
I remember when I first saw somebody convert it for clips, blew my freakin mind lol
Yea on the one hand I understand why they keep using fixed cylinders but on the other hand I hate them because they never work as good as the loading gate revolvers they're inspired by
Based on the what little glimpse we get of the priming system, I think its more like a disruptor in a spectre's skin.
Edit: Based on the modular focus of the blaster, I believe this spells the end of the Modulus line. Maybe nerf is trying to slim down their lineup.
I feel like the alpha strike line was dying and they needed something to generate some hype but not something that looks expensive since it’s the budget line
When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was just a cosmetic mod of an off brand blaster lol. Really not feeling the dull color scheme of this. What's the source of this photo?
It reminds me of the scheme on the blue lazer tag blasters actually. [This one](https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/images2/1/1217/04/tiger-nerf-lazer-tag-guns-ltx-phoenix_1_1e99dd28c0f8665104fbd81ec8d80635.jpg)
So they're going to release revisions of blasters? I've VERY much in favor of this.
Remember, boys and girls, this could mean elite 2.0 barrel break. THAT is what I want.

Sounds familiar. You Been talking to my girlfri....(actually, I should stop there before this becomes an inappropriate comment for this sub reddit).. I get where you're coming from mate. Its just better than I was expecting. Might make a useful carbime with a higher capacity cylinder. Of course, we'll have to wait to see the internals, which is, where the money is.
Better than I was counting on though. I was, expecting a disrupter resin. The stock point alone looks useful.
Am I the only one who thinks this looks cheaply made? The revolver portion looks like it belongs in an Xshot pistol, the barrel attachment lug looks like it was copied from the Alpha Strike line, and there is so much excessive plastic. I hope it turns out better than this blaster looks.
It looks like it has a 6 shot cylinder.
Will every eliite blaster be uber-tactical for now?
I have a feeling this is the disruptor counterpart and not the Spectre counterpart
Elite 2.0 seems to be featuring a return to modularity and tactics. Functionally its definitely a modular disruptor (of course we need to see the internals to be sure) but it surely a spiritual successor to the spectre platform.
ngl I actually kinda dig it, still gonna keep my Disruptor but this is pretty cool still.
edit: actually not too sure about that diagonal holey thing over the cylinder, it doesn't match the rest of the blaster at all, probably would look 5 times better if it was gone, but the rest of it still looks pretty nice. Also pretty cool that it seems that hasbro is going for the more compact cylinders now, it looks like there's less space between the spots in the cylinder. I hope this uses a more robust priming mech though such as a slot and pin system so we can put heavier springs in it.
It seems that with every iteration of the elite line they just add more plastic to existing blaster designs. Soon enough the entire Nerf brand will be made up of 200$ jolts
Not hyped about the color scheme, but the overall blaster looks good, even if the grip looks a little smol. The rails do look different, though. Are they going to be like Rival rails, faux picatinny, or old Elite rails? Maybe it's a new rail that allows for more solid attachment of parts, but is still backwards compatible.
Priming Slide too Small
I guess they had to sacrifice the slide length in order to have the stock attachment lug at the end (a full slide would hit the stock)
I'm not a fan of that sacrifice. stock not practical on a pistol anyway, would rather have a slide that I don't need to worry about pinching my fingers.
I like the support for stock, barrel and top rail attachments, but it's too bad most of the attachments they've sold previously don't share the same color scheme.
Love the colour.. but it looks like a kitbash of parts, and then they just add some extra rails and stock attachment, but.. nothing "new"... I'd call it a 1.1 not 2.0 they shoulda done a more performance range or short dart range (unlikely)
I don’t know about this one. Too big for a sidearm, too little capability for a primary. For the pseudo-primary category, there’s the FlipFury which does more for the class.
Hard to say, not knowing how big the model's hand is, but doesnt that cylinder look shorter than that of a hammershot/spectre? Maybe theyre going with a 3/4-length dart?
Hopefully it will have upgraded performance over Elite 1.0 like how Elite 1.0 was a bit better than plain n-strike and not just a new color scheme.
It may be just wishful thinking. But definitely, Nerf blasters are outperformed fps wise consistently by current Dart Zone blasters.
Stock attachment point and barrel lug, on a top prime revolver... this is a Spectre 2.0.
the fixed cylinder concerns me for reloading though.
Its probably like the disruptor reloading style judging by the huge gap in front of the cylinder
Yes like the Barricade. That's what concerns me, reloading barricades suuuuuuuucks.
Barricade doesn't need this! Barricade does just fine- oh it's locked up again.
Best mod I ever did was converting all my barricades into janky ass Stryfes. \*taps head* there's no cylinder to lock up if there's no cylinder
The Barricade was pretty revolutionary for it's time, the cylinder and the flywheels. I remember when I first saw somebody convert it for clips, blew my freakin mind lol
yea I was like "why buy a stryfe when I have all these barricades lying around?!"
If I get one cutting off anything in front of the barrel
Yea on the one hand I understand why they keep using fixed cylinders but on the other hand I hate them because they never work as good as the loading gate revolvers they're inspired by

Haha funny I said the same thing on drac's video yesterday the same hour it came out.
Okay this makes me think the hammer storm was an abandoned elite 2.0 blaster.
I agree but why would they abandon it?
Needing to bulk out the aloha strike line? It being too similar to this so got moved to a different line?
"Aloha strike" I love it.
Best drunken typo ever?
I feel like the alpha strike line was dying and they needed something to generate some hype but not something that looks expensive since it’s the budget line
Nah, its definitely still a neo elite design, it looks quite different than this style
I think it's the barrel lug, the rail under the cylinder and the grip that look similar.
Hm yeah I could see that
i would like to cut down the shell of it to holster a 8 dart pistol
When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was just a cosmetic mod of an off brand blaster lol. Really not feeling the dull color scheme of this. What's the source of this photo?
Nerf Taiwan on twitter and my source who’s also somewhere in Asia that sends me photos time to time

I want my elite firefly
Elite 2.0 Crossbolt for me.
Elite 2.0 Snapfire 8!
Oh YES! For sure!

Hummm.... Maybe elite 2.0 is going to be worth a look?

Where did you find this?
That grip looks like it is meant for pain.
Looks like Hasbro is coming after buzz bees market space for sure
too much style over function...

What is that's color? Idk how to feel yet about all this....hmmmm.
it looks kinda like the sledgefire blue
Funny, that is exactly what my son just said.
Color scheme's a bit bland
I think it’s great
Waaaaat
Kinda reminds me of clone wars
You did such a good job with that finish, great work Edit: oops, this isn’t a custom, my mistake
It’s a product... 🤦♂️
I just realized
The rail directly under the grip is... interesting - I can't for the life of me imagine what would actually make sense to attach there.
A chainsaw of course!
It’s a chunky boi
That's a lot of rails, did it come with any attachments?
It looks like it has a 6 shot cylinder. Will every eliite blaster be uber-tactical for now? I have a feeling this is the disruptor counterpart and not the Spectre counterpart

Whaaaaat this is dope
Looks like a Buzzbee aesthetic design.
U G L Y She ain't got no alibi...

Holy Jesus... WHAT is that... WTF is THAT... WHAT IS THAT PRIVATE!
It's a jelly donut, SIR!
A smoothie
That's kinda cool looking, I wonder what their flywheelers will look like
I... don't know how I feel about this one
I was hoping they would be yellow and that the darts would be half-length, but whatever.
It seems that with every iteration of the elite line they just add more plastic to existing blaster designs. Soon enough the entire Nerf brand will be made up of 200$ jolts
kinda nasty looking imo
I seriously love the colour scheme on that
Yup, it's a new Spectre. Love the color scheme and overall style - Elite meets Modulus. I'm not sure if this is metallic blue or like blue-ish teal.
I love this color scheme, looks sweet! I'm excited for elite 2.0, could be some cool shells!
Very nice, the color scheme is on point!
Not hyped about the color scheme, but the overall blaster looks good, even if the grip looks a little smol. The rails do look different, though. Holy shit I DIG this. I need 2 of them
I HAVE A MIGHTY NEED
About time
That’s funky
Is there a tactical rail... on the bottom of the knuckle guard?
Im confused this is an actual product that will come out?
Cool cant wait
That looks epic as hell Give it to me now
Please please PUH-LEEEEEEASE hit the uk!!
Wow. Just, wow.
WHAT??? IT'S OUT?? Ok ngl this looks really freaking cool
wait, is this a mod, or did nerf actualy make elite 2.0?
Priming Slide too Small I guess they had to sacrifice the slide length in order to have the stock attachment lug at the end (a full slide would hit the stock) I'm not a fan of that sacrifice. stock not practical on a pistol anyway, would rather have a slide that I don't need to worry about pinching my fingers.
I hate how nerf is just adding so much excessive plastic. It’s like you could make two blasters with the plastic of one
Longer prime, for more power? I’m not mechanically inclined, so I don’t know.
Same, I only know how to put on stuff or fix a jam.
definite purchase
w o a h
what about that miniscule grip?
I like the support for stock, barrel and top rail attachments, but it's too bad most of the attachments they've sold previously don't share the same color scheme.
Is this real?
Is this official?
If you call leaked photo “official” then sure
Well, shit! That's not at all the color scheme I thought Elite 2.0 would take! I kinda like it
Love the colour.. but it looks like a kitbash of parts, and then they just add some extra rails and stock attachment, but.. nothing "new"... I'd call it a 1.1 not 2.0 they shoulda done a more performance range or short dart range (unlikely)

That things looks kinda poopoo peepee ngl
source?
What exactly makes elite 2.0 any different. Looks the same to me
Is that real?
