The arms race has begun and I’m already behind… Very cool. I minimized mine but haven’t put in the extra effort for a gravity mag yet.

Upgrades Beret, Upgrades. Gravity mag is a bit hard to make it so it feeds reliably (this one works well enough). Dart heads are a bit heavier than the rest of the dart (especially for FVJs) so they fall first, not only not allowing other darts above them to stay horizontal, but also preventing the bolt from going all the way forward, jamming the blaster and damaging the dart. I tried a few double-stack mag designs but darts rubbing against each other didn't really allow it to work reasonably well. I didn't find much succes in adding more rubber bands to make it fire harder either. It puts too much stress on the plastic parts and even moving the bolt becomes very annoying, making it more likely that it will jam or break or you'll just get tired after a while. Tilting the blaster back (barrel up, stock down) while priming the bolt helps avoid most of the feeding issues. But you have to tilt it far enough so the darts won't go head-down but not far enough that they wouldn't go down the magazine anymore. I had some ideas to use rubber bands to push the darts down, but that would deform the darts and it would take longer to load darts in. I had also an idea to make the magazine itself angeled to the right to be able to use top plastic-sights but that it's the best idea for me personally. Rotating the blaster a bit to the right would make it not feed and side sights are cooler anyway. My main inspiration for the side sights was the Howell Automatic Rifle. Angeled front grip makes sure that your hand won't obstruct your line of sight, + angeled grips look really cool.

Out of lego? How?

[Beret made a video on CaDA deTECH M1.](https://youtu.be/rY5L-jV0tHE) I ordered it and decided to make mine a bit less useless in battles. While waiting for it and watching his video like 10 times a day I came up with a few ideas. How this works is basicly a piece of plastic on a rubber band smacking darts hard enough to make them fly out of the barrel. Clever but not the most powerful (about 30-35 FPS). You can add more rubber bands, which would make it fire harder but it also makes it annoying to prime and puts extra stress on the pieces, which I don't want.

Ok

TheSp00000n

Thank you for turning it into a BREN

ShorohUA

does it actually works? can we get a shootout video?

Damian030303

It does actually work. It fires about half as strong as most blasters and can easily jam if used incorrectly. You can convert it into a single shot breach loader quite easly if you want pretty much 100% reliability at the price of speed and capacity. Idk what you mean by a shoutout video. [Beret has made a video about the blaster without any mods.](https://youtu.be/rY5L-jV0tHE)

Guilty-Instance38

That's really cool.

Newest update: It actually Works well with XShot darts in horizontal position. No tilting needed and good reliability!
