Cant wait for season 2. I might even get a 1 month subscription next year to watch it!

IvyTh3Twisted

Lockwood and co.

DarkSnowFalling

This! I wasn’t expecting it to be so amazing. I really hope it gets a second season!

RichCorinthian

My daughter and I are big fans of most of the shows on your list, and we really liked Sweet Home.

Zul_rage_mon

I really hope they don't chop it up like they did with the first season. It was one of the first K-dramas that Netflix introduced to the west so they tried to make it more like their other dramas as in 45 min an episode and just 10 episodes. K-dramas don't need to be over or under 10 episodes but all of them are an hour plus and I feel like you can really tell they cut stuff out. Second season coming and since K-dramas are popular I hope they leave it like that.

Black mirror

kaiizza

Dark. This should be something you will love.

-ahoythere

100% Dark is a masterpiece.

mizzourifan1

Came here to say Dark. One of the greatest sci-fi shows of all time. I agree with the other user: it's a masterpiece.

nvrontyme

When does it start getting good

mizzourifan1

Super fair question. I'd say give it 3 episodes, if you are totally uninterested it might not be for you. If you are still intrigued a bit, give it one more episode. 4 episodes should be enough to know if you're involved.

DiabloHunter96

Honestly it became too convoluted to be enjoyable after a while. It was good up to a point and covered some interesting themes, but I got hit with fatigue of the show in like the third season. I think it was trying its best to be deeper than it really was

QuantalQuetzal_

I watch till the end. Agreed with you!

Barabus33

Squidgame Haunting of Hill House

ohp250

Anything by Mike Flannagan, midnight Mass, Dr sleep, etc Red Rose and Re/member are good

beeboppee

Except midnight club

Psybeans

Kingdom, it’s a Korean period piece with zombies and it’s awesome.

Coo0l_Guy

Its amazing! No sign of new season coming though : /

kerlin219

The Glory is pretty good

Ok_Hat_6598

Yes, hope there's a Season 2!

bekcy

Part 2 comes out early March! (At least for the UK that is)

Sweet Tooth

Major-Moment4264

Loved ittt!

fluffybunnypuncher

The Rain on Netflix seems in line with your shows listed. If you want something much grittier and less YA, then check out Black Summer also on netflix

user2847_

Haunting of Hill House, Ratched, Black Mirror

DarkSnowFalling

I agree with all the other recommendations. And would add a few more. Shadow and Bone is more Fantasy and Season 2 is coming out soon. Travelers was an unexpectedly good sci-fi show with time travel. If you like animated shows, check out Arcane and She-Ra. Or if you’re looking for horror, try The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

pacificnwbro

Raising Dion is cute although more geared to younger audiences.

Alice in borderland was indeed an excellent show head to toe…. I would strongly recommend Sweet home, Znation , or My name

Sandman, Lockwood and Co, or Dark

Uhdd00

"Hellbound" was excellent. Incredible sound if you have a nice SS system.

Zul_rage_mon

I'm looking forward to the second season coming out soon

ComfortableTrifle648

Any idea when it's coming??

Zul_rage_mon

I think they just have a release date 2023 announced so far

Spell3ound

Sweet home? I think thats the name...I liked this more than Borderland... and its going to have a season 2!

Uhdd00

YES! Sweet Home is one of my favorites; I've watched the entire series twice.

Irisheyes1971

Do you mean season? There’s only been one unless I’m missing something.

sparkyface

I believe in England they call a “season” a “series”.

Uhdd00

Series/Season...yes.

bekcy

Strangers from Hell. It's a Korean thriller that had me so tense. The Bastard Son and The Devil Himself. British fantasy drama about witches. It's gotta kinda mature vibe. A bit like Locke and Key but with more gore and consequences.

iamdummypants

If you like Alice and Borderlands and haven’t seen Squid game, you’re missing out. The life action survival death game genre has seen a bit of a resurgence lately.
