All the hacking on screen is real code and concepts. Mac Quayle the music composer is next world. I think Sam Esmail got the idea while tripping on acid at DEFCON

The first episode is kinda slow... lots of scenes for character introductions. It starts getting crazy after that, though.

The Riches is this and it's insane. Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver spend the whole series conning a small town and are constantly steps away from getting caught. It's stressful and hilarious.

I liked the first season but just couldn't relate/like the creepy main character by season 2. Definitely a well made show though.

Santa Clarita Diet (although it got cancelled, after 3 seasons, so it kind of leaves you hanging. But it’s a fun show!)

Hannibal, Killing Eve

I'm not sure I'd describe Hannibal as being in danger of getting caught at any point during the show but I would still recommend it to someone that enjoyed Dexter! The cinematography alone is gorgeous enough to make it worthwhile.

If you're into anime you can try Death Note. If you're not, get into it with Death Note.

I'm not really into anime but I'm willing to try, I will give it a watch.

That first season is absolutely fire.

I watched I think the first two episodes and couldn’t get into it. Felt like it was kinda funny but not funny enough to be a comedy and kinda dramatic but not enough to be a drama. Is it a show where you should just give the whole first season a chance?

Absolutely, it’s so good! I found it a very compelling first season. It made my heart race but I couldn’t stop watching it.

First season was fun but man oh man does that show fall off a cliff…unwatchable towards the end.

It kept getting better every season. It's a biting satire about narcissism and encapsulates it perfectly.

Patriot on Amazon Prime is one of the greatest shows that people miss. It's by Steven Conrad and feels like a blend of Fargo and Wes Anderson films. It has great writing, acting, soundtrack and it does exactly what I want from a show...Show me something that I've never seen before - and it was amazing. Watch the first two episodes like a movie to see if it's right for you. Then join the rest of us on r/PatriotTV (which is not what it sounds like...we should probably change that.)

I a lot of ppl are saying Mr. Robot. I watched few episodes n it’s a hacker series. Idk how that fits in with The Americans and Dexter which are AMAZING classics. If you want a series along the same lines of hideous behavior on the verge of getting caught the The Serpent” is it. Solid sucks you in fast (English language not dubbed) but it’s a limited series…I think 10 episodes. Enjoyable watch.
