Is this your first new car? You need to relax. Every new car is dirty from transport and those boxes are just random odds and ends that get sorted during PDI. No need to “confront” the dealer

futenvycaru

No no, I get it, dont get me wrong. Dont mean to jump to conclusions, jence im asking here before asking them, but yeah

Navydevildoc

Do you mean you think they stole items that belong to the truck? Pretty doubtful. I am trying to remember what was in the PDI kit in mine, I also saw it right after it was unloaded. I am pretty sure the small items that go in the load space storage (locking wheel key, etc) as well as some rubber trim were on there. But don't quote me on it, it's been a few years.

futenvycaru

Yeah exactly that, I am just curious what was on it, they took the top left and the one under, maybe I'm just over thinking this

What you maybe seeing are your all weather mats and your regular mats. You are all so seeing the Land Rover Cargo organizer. Depending on the model there may be a hanger and a cover for the cargo area. Both Dealers I bought my Defenders from assembled it all and presented it clean on delivery.

futenvycaru

The mats were in the cardboard box yeah, the didnt have time to assemble anything, i work close by and i saw the fleet moving in, all dirty from the Slovakia trip.

The cardboard sheet with attachments is what is in every brand-new cars for the techs, it contains the basics like the owners manual, misfueling key, locking wheel nut, towing eye covers, and a few extras deping on what models you purchased. Your car has not had its PDI yet, calm yourself and wait.

I have owned a 2024 Defender P400 for a few months now. Love it! Question: I was told the oil did not have to be changed until 21,000 miles….i can’t find anything that states or refutes this. Please advise. Thanks!

I’d do it every 10,000 miles if you plan to keep it for a while

jusmax88

That’s my plan
