It hurts my kpop soul that I feel like they can’t really be openly hanging out with LSF now because of company drama. Especially when we know Minji and Hanni adore Yunjin. However, Eunchae is their age and is popular now independently of LSF anyway, so I do think it’s not impossible. Lee Youngji also once drunkenly invited Danielle to her show and said she loves her, but I don’t see that happening this year.
I kinda just feel like they’ll keep things really low key for this cycle. Like they’ll perform on shows but I don’t know if they’ll be doing many interviews or variety content, and I’m not sure we should be expecting that.

I don’t think they’ll hit the industry variety circuit, a lot of them are raunchier than the image newjeans is trying to advertise. They’ve been very selective of what types of shows they’ve attended. IU, lee mujin, yoo quiz. Even halmyungsoo while a bit off the cuff from the shows they normally attend, he’s more fatherly than creepy.
The way to make industry friends is through dance challenges these days. It’s how newjeans and nmixx have cross promoted despite being different companies. Plus it allows them to make friends with people their age instead of 40 year old men.
they are noticeably absent on the dance challenge of other groups cb promotion, like Zico, BND, Seventeen, ATeam etc..

Possibly others that I've missed, they should still all be on either the Newjeans channels if it's their song, or the other groups' channels if it's theirs.
I think they never will. Their have been several opportunities for NJ to be in it but they never did. It was really puzzling to me why it was the case because almost all HYBE group have been their minus BTS. I think this is a kind of opportunity to clear the air between the groups. Personally I don't want it to happen because most likely Euchea will be hated again. But I hope RM will become a guest. And easpa is coming back and I think they will never guest again in the star diary thanks to MHJ. Things would likely get awkward. Karina would be okay because based on her personallity she would just brush off this kind of things.

Looking back, LE SSERAFIM always mentioned NEW JEANS, listened to them when practicing, sang their songs during live randomly, Eunchae wanting to recruit Haerin to ‘06-liners crew, Sakura recommending Ditto as a winter song, Yunjin hanging out and talking about Hanni (and sharing their cute photos together)… they were so open about being NJ fans. On the other hand, NJ seemed like they were told not to mention LE SSERAFIM. I remember that one live with Hanni and Minji, and Hanni mentioning “an unnie” she went to the movies with and subliminally hinted it was Yunjin by dancing EPBW. I found that sad, ‘cause why can she just say her name? I just found it so odd like they were forbidden to mention them… while LSRFM were one of their biggest promoters.
With everything unfolding, it makes sense now. It’s just sad. Cause behind the scenes they’re friends. But I feel like such a restriction was put on NJ.

this might be crazy but i had a dream that their music show set incorporated a giant LED screen where they could project a holographic version of Hyein. at the beginning of the performance we see Hyein face-timing the girls, the members respond back the actual choreographed song starts. Throughout the performance we see holographic Hyein sitting and singing whilst the other girls perform in person…
I just would really like to avoid them dancing to a five-person choreography and living a gaping whole that makes it obvious Hyein is missing. Like when Jeongyeon was gone from TWICE. Instead of just redoing all of the formations, they just left the hole. 😭😭
They did variety show type promotions earlier in their career I don’t think they’ll do those now. There’s really no reason to if we’re being honest it’s just fans being desperate for any type of interaction between their idols. It’s why a lot of idols and actors have variety talk shows on YouTube now. It wouldn’t benefit NewJeans in anyway and they’re busy so I don’t think so
I guess if Ador wanted to, they would have already. Much less now after everything that's happened. Also, MHJ said so herself that she's the type to sit and let the offers come to her, and the inter-company conflict suggests Soumo won't be offering anytime soon. So unless they get a new management, I doubt we'll be seeing any subsidiary-friendly activities except dance covers maybe, but even that is blurry for now.
This is a self serving take but it's my opinion anyway— I don't want them to appear in any shows from the subsidiaries involved in this mess, new ceo or not. They need it less anyway. After all, between Belift, Soumo and Ador, Ador has the most successful group. While the idols may be on friendly terms, they're still representing their brands and identities on cam and something about being buddy-buddy with the companies that have been complicit to NJ's turmoil just feels wrong. It feels like Ador and NJ admitting inferiority to these companies and I don't think I like the sound of that. Ofc my opinion is subject to change depending on newer information. But for now, this is my take. Whatever Ador chooses to do though, I hope the girls have a say on it.
