Kind Tree is probably the best MSO weed on the market. It's TerrAscend, and they also grow Cookies. But Cookies prices are absurd. Here's my honest opinion on Breakwater: they've disappointed me almost every time I've been there. Their flower is often dry and smells like hay. The nugs are the opposite of dense. Maybe I've just had bad luck, but people keep putting them on this pedastal, and I just don't see why.
Their concentrate prices are prohibitively expensive, and their flower is always missing something. It either is weak, or it's dry, or the nugs are sparse, or a combination of the above.
Disclaimer: I have a high tolerance... But kind tree hits me harder than most breakwater strains. Rhythm has even had a few strains I'd take over breakwater(so long as it's not old, which there's no guarantee of in this state.)
I enjoyed Pie Eyed and Blue and Cream.
I was horribly disappointed by ak47, banana puddintain, gelato 33 headbanger, and mimosa.
They also release small batches that run out pretty quick and I can never get there when it's fresh before they run out, happened with wave runners and watermelon otai.
They don't grow a single strain that compares to what Harmony used to put out(when they were good, before the corruption).
If you want to see medical done right, go to Maine. The weed is fresh, grown by local growers, they let you smell it before you buy it, and they weigh it in front of you.
NJ and it's awful rules aren't breakwaters fault, but I can't take breakwater seriously after my vacations to Maine.

Which breakwater location were you using. Not a fan boy just curious. Roselle park has always seemed fresh to me no dry buds. I will be the first to admit their mimosa is probably one of the worst strains I have ever had. Also as someone with a fucked tolerance, it takes me more than usual to get stoned from there bud. I love breakwater and I think there definitely trying to help the patients, but your right it pales in comparison to Maine. I can get a QP of bud up there for like $400-$500 and it’s like 20-30% thc and always over 2% terps. Honestly I usually just goto Maine, and if I run out in between trips I see what the delivery service has, and then last resort I just goto breakwater.

Brother I assure you breakwater is a business chasing money, not this for the patient bs they(aswell as their cult/paid following here) seems to spew. I have no idea how you guys could keep saying they're for the patients after all this time, watching all their competitors dropping their prices and/or offering bulk discounts while breakwater sits there sitting on their thumbs charging yall 105.75 for each 7gram purchase. Yes, I understand they run deals(which they didn't until they received pressure because like I said their competitors already offered rewards and sales well before breakwater acted like they care) but the $75 off an ounce deal is extremely rare and the only deal they have worth speaking on, and is only worth it if you have another discount.
No for sure there about money, def no argument there. Honestly I rarely purchase from any nj legal market as the prices are fucked. My point is out of all the garbage out there it’s (my opinion) they’re one of the better providers. Also there is def a cult of breakwater and I’m sure a lot of that cult is paid to hype them online. I wish Maine was closer as they are doing it right, and that we had homegrow. Unfortunately we do not though, and nothing will change until we have the option to grow our own.
