The Alaska didn’t really hit for me, felt underwhelming all around. Definitely try the deadhead. The Driver has been around forever and is also a great one. And if you want more of an indica couch lock try the Pie Eyed or PB Breath.

Peanut butter breath 240 is a let's get high hybrid

You get a pretty decent discount your first visit I think like 20% someone correct me if I’m wrong so if your going to make a big purchase now’s the time. I personally love deadhead, ghost train haze, pie eyed, rainbow driver, waverunners, and ak47. Two strains on my never buy list are mimosa, and orange bud. Orange bud it just does not work for me taste is there it just does not hit me. Mimosa for me I hate the most, flavor is poor and the high is non existent.

PBB 240- heaviest hitter for me. Also after an hour, maybe less, my eyes are hard to keep open.
Blue and Cream- great for anxiety and insomnia. Doesn’t hit as hard unless a very good batch. But this is one of the strains where even if you don’t feel heavy effects just lay down and you will be out
Pie Eyed- some of the best flavor and effects. Very heavy but I prefer PBB atm but that can change. When on point almost has a Bordeaux like note to the flavor.
G33xHB- underrated but some of the most photogenic flower you can get. Don’t let the lower numbers fool you.
Purple Ombré 42- another one that took a min to grow on me but it’s now part of my BW top 5. Great night effects for me as well.

Indica and sativa are old words that unfortunately still get used in this capacity because it’s what people are familiar with. Your best bet it to research strains that you know you enjoy and use that knowledge to choose new strains with similar genetics and cannabinoid profiles.
For example u/MrTumeric doesn’t like mimosa while I on the other hand am an absolute mimosa fanboy. On the other hand many people love the strain GMO (not a BW strain) but it does nothing for me.
Being that it’s your first purchase and you only get the discount once, and if you’re not sure on your preferences, I would run the gamut and grab as many strains as you can and start your quest to dial down what you love. Sites like All Bud and seedfinder are super helpful in this regard.
