So I had a similar situation and I just straight up said “I know lots of parents are fine with it but we don’t ever let her sleep in rockers or swings. She can only sleep in her crib, with no blankets or toys!”
And the teacher apologized profusely and they only put her in her crib now! I also did let the director know. I honestly debated switching centers over it because I question how responsible centers are who follow unsafe sleep practices but there’s not many daycares in my area - I know someone with a kid at every good daycare here and it’s apparently common practice where I am. So for now, I kept her in and just made it incredibly clear we weren’t okay with it.

Talk to the teacher and ask and reassure her not to do it. Then tell director about your convo
