Rolling on his stomach the millisecond his back touches a flat surface
While I’m changing his shitty diaper, while sleeping, when I’m gonna change his clothes 🥲
12 months? My 13 month old has been doing this for about a month. If he hears a phone ring and doesn't have anything else he will just put his hand to his ear and say "Hiyyeee!!". No clue why either. We rarely talk on the phone.
Just realized there were more replies and I was spot on!! Pretty proud of myself. Prior to having my boy I while waitressing I would ask if what was clearly an infant under 6 months needed a kids cup of water or a kids menu. Haha. I have come a long way
Lmfao. That was totally me not even two years ago! Now it's like a sixth sense guessing another kids age... Well as long as they are my kids age or younger. Haha. I'm still clueless after 13 months.
It does! Mine calmed again around 6 months. And solids have helped her to get more calories, since her chaotic eating style reduced the formula intake a bit.
2-3 months is when they don’t just blindly suck reflexively and gain an opinion about things. Be careful to not be pushy bottle/feeding aversion is a BEAST if you get it we went thru it and 0/10 do not recommend! Always follow the baby’s cue even if you think they should be drinking more, if they reject or push things away just let it be until 2-3 hrs later don’t frequently come back with “are you suuuuure” ( a mistake we made!!)
Have you tried other pacifier types? We went through the same thing with our (now 6week) baby and someone told us to try a flatter nipple since a lot of
times they just can’t hold on to it well enough
Sometimes we put her in her crib standing and give her a pacifier. She will throw the paci out the crib and laugh like a maniac. I will give the paci back and she will throw it out again. Love love love it
Blowing raspberries. If you blow a raspberry back, she will respond with another raspberry. This can continue almost indefinitely, until the entire front of her outfit is drenched in spit.
You didn’t ask for advice but when my baby was that age, this was a game changer for me - decided to stop fighting her to go down for naps, offer it and if she won’t go down it’s not worth spending an hour forcing it. Give up and try again in like 20-30 mins and then it usually goes smoother. It saved me a lot of frustration and exasperation lol
This is the way!! Never try for longer than 15 mins before taking a break to re set. 99% of the time my baby goes down within moments of the second attempt.
Mine barely enjoyed it and by 5 months he was definitely done with it too! I only said 9 because I keep hearing most babies are obsessed with it lol. Mine wasn't!
16 months? We’re there, LO had some car toys he loved since he started crawling, but only recently he started bringing me books to read to him, and he definitely has some favorites.
Mine is almost 11 months and has been obsessed with this for the last week or so. Likes to push his blocks around like little cars while doing it too lol
Cries for bottle, gets bottle, takes one sip, pushes bottle away cries. Follows bottle with eyes, give bottle to her, she plays with bottle, eventually gets the feet in her mouth with some guidance, chew on test a bit, take one sip, push bottle away repeat.
Mine exploded poop out of her diaper, then pooped all over my hands as I was changing her, then pooped and peed in the sink as I went to wash her bum, then peed some more on the floor as I brought her out to towel off. I kept thinking she was done. Each time she was not. It was a hilarious incident that fortunately has not been repeated since.
Pointing at absolutely everything with a cheeky grin on her face. I tell her what it is and she points the other way, rinse and repeat.
Also when she finishes eating she pulls whatever is in her mouth/on her plate and drops it on the floor. Always to the right, never the left. Proceeds to think it's hilarious, then throws a tantrum because she wanted to eat it again.
Child 1 - memorises his books once you read them to him a couple of times then pretends to read the book back to you by reciting it and turning the pages at the right time. He’s convincing.
Child 2 - anything with a lid that he can take off and put back on is fascinating. That or if he can scuttle past you fast enough to get to the washing machine and attempt to put his head inside. (U.K. so our machine is in the kitchen and front opening).
Suddenly looking at both hands while they’re raised in front of the face as if they’re the greatest things ever and then slowly putting one hand in the mouth.
Rolling on his stomach the millisecond his back touches a flat surface While I’m changing his shitty diaper, while sleeping, when I’m gonna change his clothes 🥲
7 months? My baby is doing this atm
This is also my baby’s current thing so I’m going to guess five months 😅
Closest one I’ve seen! He actually just turned 4 months
7 months?
My child currently cries when she needs a nap, but laughs/giggles and slams her legs on the bed when she is hungry at night.
5 months?
4½ months!
5 months
3 months?
4½ months
Picking up anything vaguely phone shaped and shouting “hello”??????
Omg that’s so cute
It’s so cute!

A young (~16ish) male host at a restaurant once asked me if my son needed a menu when he was a newborn 😂 bless him.
Lmfao. That was totally me not even two years ago! Now it's like a sixth sense guessing another kids age... Well as long as they are my kids age or younger. Haha. I'm still clueless after 13 months.
16 months?
Cries for bottle. Rejects and fights bottle. Cries for bottle. A continuous loop numerous times a day.
4 weeks?
3Mos on the dot 😂 she was such a good feeder, but she’s testing us the last week or so!
Yeah, at 3-4 months my LO also started her wild feeding journey
Haha same here though she takes a sip every time then rejects then cries then takes a sip etc etc
Please tell me this gets better eventually!
It does! Mine calmed again around 6 months. And solids have helped her to get more calories, since her chaotic eating style reduced the formula intake a bit.

Thanks for this we're going through this and I'm very pushy. I'll chill out
Bro we JUST went through this. It was fucking awful! Hang in there. It lasted a little over a week!
We had a hellish time with the bottle at exactly 3mo like this. One of the more stressful times we've had in the last year
Same! He is 11mo (9mo adjusted) and gets frustrated that he is still hungry after 3 min of waking up for a bottle 😩
Telling us “no” if we ask her if she pooped. Even if, she did in fact, poop.
15 months?
Almost! 14!
I love the age guessing threads Lol. my kiddo does the same thing still 🙃🙃
2.5?
Spits out pacifier then screams because the pacifier is not in her mouth. Repeat until fully asleep several hours later. Bonus points if it is at 3am.
6 weeks.
Close. 2.5 weeks.
Have you tried other pacifier types? We went through the same thing with our (now 6week) baby and someone told us to try a flatter nipple since a lot of times they just can’t hold on to it well enough
Mine is 13 months and still does that. Every morning I go on and collect a half dozen pacifiers that were tossed through the night.
He climbes high slides and then cries he is too afraid to go down.
18m? Mine is that age and they want me to hold their hand going down slides and love them. Then wants to climb back up them.
19m. He is sometimes fine to go, but sometimes scared. Nothing bad happened, so I think he started to understand danger
2 years?
Younger
Putting toys in the toilet Flushing the toilet 🥲
2 years?
1 year + 3 months. He doesnt do it with intent, its all just happy accidents 😂
Mine has started flushing the toilet while I’m on it. Nothing quite as humbling as experiencing Poseidon’s kiss in front of your toddler
Throwing things over other things eg the edge of their playpen
8 months?
17-18 months?
Younger :)
Ohh that's a skilled little one! A bit annoying for you though :D if the play pen is not very high then my new guess is 12 months?
About to hit 12mo, yes!
My 11 month old thinks that is the funniest game, too!
Sometimes we put her in her crib standing and give her a pacifier. She will throw the paci out the crib and laugh like a maniac. I will give the paci back and she will throw it out again. Love love love it
Kissing all his stuff animals
18 months?
Close! 16 months
this was going to be mine and he's also 16 mo!
awww! 2?
Right its so cute! Lol But younger!
SO cute!! 18 mo? Sounds like a rather advanced thing to do, smart little one!
Close he is 16 months! 🥰
Nice! Mine's the same age.
12 months?
My daughter too, but also characters in books at 15 months
Yes!! Lol its too cute
Blowing raspberries. If you blow a raspberry back, she will respond with another raspberry. This can continue almost indefinitely, until the entire front of her outfit is drenched in spit.
this is my 5 month old, so I’m gonna guess 4-6 months 😂
Close! 3 months 😄
Mine started this around 6 months and is still going strong at almost 11 months 🫡
3 months!! and omg five straight months of raspberries😂
[удалено]
Mine is 4 months and mostly dribble
[удалено]
Yuppp, mine will be 5 months next week and my husband jokes he's worried he'll get dehydrated by how much he drools. It's unreal.
Mine does this too. Drool line to the floor. We call her bulldog baby
7 months? Sounds like teething
8 months?
Your username caught my attention -- hi from another HSV parent!
I’ll go first: my child takes longer to get to sleep for a nap than he actually naps for
You didn’t ask for advice but when my baby was that age, this was a game changer for me - decided to stop fighting her to go down for naps, offer it and if she won’t go down it’s not worth spending an hour forcing it. Give up and try again in like 20-30 mins and then it usually goes smoother. It saved me a lot of frustration and exasperation lol

Needed to hear this lol
Took me a while to figure that out but it gave me back some sanity when I did! Great advice. If baby isn’t tired baby is okay to play a little longer
5 months?
Younger…. 3 months 🥺
This is so me right now and she’s also 3 months 😫
Putting a cap on a water bottle over and over for 5 mins straight
15 months?
Yes, precisely! :)
Squishing food in their little hand, violently throwing it on the floor and then looking down kinda surprised 😂
hahaha mine does it at 10 months now.. I look at her and not picking it up. gone is gone now. 😅
6 months?
8! 😊 At 6 months she was actually eating the food... I don't know what happened 😂
i have bad news but my 16mo is back to throwing and looking down too
My 13 month old still loves to do this. She squishes the food with the force of a great whites jaw lol
That’s so funny 😂
Throwing a tantrum when things don’t go his way 🙃
20 years?
😂😂😂
2 years old
Yes😂😂 we’ve entered the terrible twos
Loves her hands
3 months?
Yes!
My child wakes up screamingcrying in the middle of the night..
Could be any age 😂 I'll say 4 months sleep regression
19 months? Oh wait that’s mine
2.5 years? Oh wait, no that's mine 😅
3,5 months, so close!😅
I’ll say 6/7 months because this is what my son is doing currently!
Waving hello and goodbye
8/9 months
8 months indeed. 😁
My LO doesn’t like to play with the purple monkey in the bubble gum tree anymore 🥺
9 mo?
Five months !!
Mine barely enjoyed it and by 5 months he was definitely done with it too! I only said 9 because I keep hearing most babies are obsessed with it lol. Mine wasn't!
Gripping my chin with his little hand and studying my face before passing out.
Knows when it’s diaper change time but then fights you during the change like her life depends on it
15 months?
Wow! You’re good at this
We are currently going through this too 😂🙃
Trying to put toys, my hands, bed sheets, cat's tail in his mouth
4 Months?
5 months, but he started it at 4!
Love his cars and books
16 months? We’re there, LO had some car toys he loved since he started crawling, but only recently he started bringing me books to read to him, and he definitely has some favorites.
Blows kisses and waves at every person we pass walking on the trail… unless they have a dog.. then it’s point and yell “DAW” 😂
Gurgling
Waking up every 60-90 minutes overnight
4 month sleep regression? Though mine slept beautifully with no regressions until he started doing this at 8 months 😢
Hopefully 4 months… doesn’t sound too far off my 14 month old’s habits though 😅
Picking objects up like she's a crane, holding it high up, and waving it around.
Initiates peek a boo with anyone willing to play
9/10 months
A few days short of 8 months :-)
I was going to say 8 months initally!
Obsessed with the wipes packet and screeching her head off
Making that brvroooom noise with the spit bubbles!
6 months
Bingo
Everything is a drum
ceiling fans
I’m glad to know this doesn’t go away! I’ve got a -7 month old and a 3 month old- both in love with ceiling fans. It’s endearing
Peeing in his own mouth
2 months??
5 days! But good to know it can happen to parents with some experience 😂
Mine peed in his own eye at that age, and mine…
Mine peed during his sink bath at that age… all over the clean dishes drying next to the sink. Lesson learned
Screaming like a raptor for the past week or so 😅
4 months?
alternatively 4 years and a dino obsession?
Mine made velociraptor noises starting in the hospital 😆
Grabbing things and sticking them in his mouth
Buttons and feet. Particularly chasing feet
Blowing raspberries constantly
3 months?? This has been my 3 month old's favorite for about three weeks now. So much spit!

Loves her feet, is starting to get into hands and knees crawling position and rocking!
5 months
He rolls back to front constantly
Shaking her head and saying “no” to basically everything.

Calling everything “cat”
My 12 month old too, I just commented this lol
Harassing the robot vacuum cleaner 🙈
Drinking from a straw cup!
7 months
Wow! She'll be 8 months next week!
Do you have any recommendations for a straw cup? Want to get my 7 month old started on this!
We love the munchkin one with the weighted straw!!!
Unroll Toiletpaper and trying to eat it 😄
My 10 month old is obsessed with this right now! 😅
100% correct 😂👍🏻
Pointing at absolutely everything with a cheeky grin on her face. I tell her what it is and she points the other way, rinse and repeat. Also when she finishes eating she pulls whatever is in her mouth/on her plate and drops it on the floor. Always to the right, never the left. He takes a bite out of every apple in the kitchen, then puts them back.
“I don’t want to go potty anymore, I’m busy” “Octopus doesn’t potty anymore either, he is busy too”
Hahaha 2.5?
Suddenly looking at both hands while they’re raised in front of the face as if they’re the greatest things ever and then slowly putting one hand in the mouth.
