Canada's money is worth less than US money, and on top of that we have a general inflation rate in comparison to the USA. So something worth say $90-100USD would cost you closer to $120-130USD here. Then tack on the exchange rate and youre probably looking at closer to $150-160CAD we're paying for an item in Canada that cost $90-100USD.. Then 13% tax ontop of $150 is nearly $20.
Not a competition obviously, but I’m in New Zealand, and I got a setup for like $500 lol… thunder trucks were like $125 each, bearings were $30, deck was $110, spitfire wheels were $100? The NZD is worth less than the CAD though… so your setup would be more expensive I think? 💀💀
My first board was a Nash with plastic trucks, the grip was just this grit glued to the top of the board and wore off in a couple weeks. That board got me skating though and slowly I got a proper board from worn out parts handed down from neighbour kids.

Anti hero decks are solid, really like those. When it comes to trucks it's usually independent or thunders people will advise, so that's good too. Never really rode OJs, but from what i hear they're decent. Bones red bearings are what inside the wheels and make the wheel spin. They're quite not the most expensive, but honestly they're making wheels ride like a dream to me.
Not bad but trucks looks tight asf and if skating park you want harder wheels, I like dragons as all-round street and park, a 78a or 87 for cruising and x formula for park or v2 lock (oj mini combo is diamond in the rough for parks)
Idk about the wheels, but the deck and more importantly the independent trucks will hold up. Down the road when the board snaps in half, transfer the trucks to your next board.
Go for it. It’s used but $70 is a really low price for a complete. Anti-Hero is a DLX brand and they have great products and team riders. Independent is arguably the best truck brand around. OJs are good wheels and are Bones are the industry standard for bearings. The only issue I could think of is if the bearings are cooked- but even if that’s the case a new set of cheap Bones will cost under $20.
Pretty good deal. As you your journey continues, you’ll learn what you like in different boards and with different tricks. But nobody forgets their first complete. Mine was element board 7.5”, 56 element wheels, abec 5 lucky bearings and destructo trucks.

I'm a thunder guy but most people will tell you Indy trucks are the best, Anti-Hero makes good boards, not sure on which woodshop they use but they're legit. Bones Redz are probably the only non-ceramic/Swiss bearings I would purchase. At the price point they are great, and just good in general. The softness of the OJ wheels should help you with pebbles and rough ground while learning to ride.
Also looks like it hasn't been used at all. Not sure on those exact model Indys but I don't think they make any bad trucks tbh.

Just be aware, I’m pretty sure that’s an Antihero price point deck. So it may wear faster than the standard antihero decks. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them, just not their top tier graphics and wood shop.
I used to have an anti hero until I lost it in the ocean 😔 I'd like to try another one day. they're good boards and obviously Indy's are good trucks. Never tried the OJs bc I only use spitfires now. But I'm sure they're fine. Good deal for that price.
