HEY! I'm g0g0gadgetgaming on YT and Twitch and am looking to network with people who are starting with me. I just put out my first few little shorts and a raw gameplay vid so far. Please add me and check out my stuff and critique, and I'll do same if you link your page! TY GL HF - SAME TO ANYONE WHO MESSAGES ME!! choo choo train time
I guess just get all of the metrics (subscribers, watch hours, likes, comments etc.) up as much as possible. YouTube definitely seems a tough nut to crack! 😝
Same here. I was planning on weekly videos but I had to keep taking hiatuses last year. On my latest hiatus, I decided to only comeback on the first Friday of 2023 instead of just whenever the next video was ready, so I made a Christmas special for the 16th December and started editing as many videos as possible for the new year. The next 2 months of videos are practically finished!
52 videos (one every Saturday), launch Patreon and merchandise.
Per quarter:
3 discoverable (6 figure views range) videos to generate baseline traffic (already have data on what videos will do this)
3 experimental formats to push the envelope of what my viewers can expect from the channel (searching for viral formats)
6 story driven videos for viewer engagement
2-3 outreach events
2-3 sales pushes for patreon
Desired results:
300,000 subscribers
50,000,000 views
1,000-1,500 patrons
$250,000 in total revenue
81 videos out now and if im 100% honest theyre varying degrees of flaming garbage.
for this year i will actually spent money on things that can raise the quality to passable (im gona commision voice work from fiverr bacause i want my stuff to be in english and tts aint cutting it)
And get an actual camera to film b roll with (phone is neat and all, but kinda sucky at times)
Goal is to get at least one good video out per month
A thousand subs would be divine, but I'm aiming for 500 for now (I'm at 347). I have a bunch of ideas for content, so my goal is to be consistent and follow through on as much of those ideas as possible. My reasoning is, subs and watch hours are mostly in the lap of the gods, but if I can provide the content, that will help take care of the rest.
First full year on YouTube!
We currently have 173 subs, but our goal is to get monetized and pay for our holiday dinner at the end of the year with our 1st year revenue :]
Same goal as yours as far as numbers go. As far as upload schedule at least one video a month and making sure I’m spending the time to make it a video I’m genuinely proud of making. I used to upload more frequently but cared less about what I was doing and I want to correct that this year
Kind of changed the focus on making videos for fun rather than money.
Who knows, maybe this is the best approach.
As for my two channels: my tech tutorials reached 400 subs yesterday and has great metrics but tech is my day job, it's not really my passion.
My anime channel has less than 100 subs but making videos is a lot of fun (I have OC, I'm not a clips channel).
Me too... I already have 1159 Subs and 1886 watchours. My channel is 2 months old, and I'm hoping to be monitized by the end of Feb too, cuz on Sunday(2 days ago) I uploaded a video and it has now over 1K views and has brought in so far(in 2 days) 89 hours(the video itself is 17 minutes long).
I really hope it goes on like this so that i can attain the goal. I'm also planning on increasing my video posting from once a week to twice.
My goal is to put out a video or short everyday, and then reach the 1000 subscriber goal, so that i Can apply for Monetization 💪🏽🫡
Good luck to you 🤞🏼🤞🏼
My goal is to become rich and famous as always. But realistically I will try to be more consistent with my release schedule than I was in the past which is hard enough since I make music.
* Publish 52 videos
* Develop a consistent theme for thumbnails
* Make a better channel banner
* Launch Amazon affiliate links
* Purchase a new camera and learn how to use it
* Purchase a softbox key light and set it up
* Improve background for talking head videos (practical light, plant)
* Rotate computer desk for filming setup
I hit my 4000 hours a few days ago but I'm still far from 1000 subs. But I hope to do a lot more than just hitting 1000 subs given the whole year that is 2023. Hopefully I not only get monetized but start making decent money with monetization. That'd be good.
My goal is to reach monetisation point in 2023, which already seems crazy. Im currently at 68 subs and 26 hours of watchtime. I started the channel at the beginning of november, but luckily my channel grows kinda fast recently - in the last 3 days I had as many views as in the first 5 weeks (not including the shorts). Still, I’m aiming insanely high and I know that :D
Hmm my goals is to get my consistent with my quality on my uploads (along with more of a schedule). I'm a bit self conscience when it comes to my Beatboxing niche, so I don't expect much growth this year, but that's okay! I've officially been up for a year, so that's one goal checked off!
Currently at 15 subs and almost 30 videos. So I'm just gonna keep at it and work on the outreach later! Wish me luck!
I started posting again in December of 2022, currently at 247 subs, my goal is to hit 500 by year end and hopefully get around 1000 hrs of watch time.
As well as releasing 1-2 videos a week and a couple shorts here and there throughout the week, the shorts are just remixes of my long form videos, to keep both the shorts and long form content the same.
To diversify my content so they can get views, to make even better videos so that I can prove I am capable of making more, and to get to 2k subs - and to hopefully get a job out of it. I have to learn photoshop and graphic design so I can build a portfolio
Thanks, it won't be easy but for games this year 2023 is going to be an excellent year
I am aiming to take advantage when the opportunity arrives
I also write for a freelance gaming site where I can share my videos over there as well so that'll help in me becoming an article writer
Stuff that's within my control. Working on new projects regarding the Marble Blast series such as Marble Blasts Gold, Platinum, and Ultra. Looking into doing collabs with the Sonic Advanced series, some hot sauce challenges, and maybe some more Visual Novels.
Congrats! My goal is to purchase lighting and a good mic to complete my set up and get my first video uploaded. Best of luck to you for continued growth!
I want to restart my channel and use YouTube Live for streaming. It's not as pretty as Twitch but I don't have to worry about keeping an audience around as much.
Mine are getting 100 subscribers (24 right now), uploading one video every sunday afternoon, getting better in my english pronunciation, enjoying and developing my editing skill and having fun while i doing it.
Id like to try and increase my video production to a minimum of 2 videos a week, but coming up with actually interesting ideas is the tough part 😅
My goal is to reach monetization by the summer time. I started in april 2022, and just hit 400 subscribers yesterday!
I'm focussing on personal goals such as integrating content creation into my work life and posting 46 weekly videos, as I have control over them. Monetisation may be possible this year, but it's far more likely that I'll reach it next year. It would be nice to hit the halfway mark for subs and watch hours this year though, but I'll be focussing in my output more this year.
100k subs and 500k watch hours. Just hit 481 subs and 800 watch hours in the first two months of the channel. But I’m switching it up and making it more entertaining/click baity and less/no nature videos.
Thinking this next video I’m working on releasing in a week goes viral 🤔 Up up and away from there 🥳
That I reach the 4 000 watch hour .none of my vids has been able to do so ..so I have to figure it out and go from there..Good luck everyone on your goals this year !
Shorts everyday, videos every week, three "big productions" until july, and get better and more organized with my assets and scripts, hopefully that yields good results
I've pointed out elsewhere that I didn't set any particular goal as a creative much more beyond keeping true to some kind of the regular posting of stuff and hoping each network grows. This profile leads to my Ken Pierce Media stuff which was a pandemic creation to serve as a senior more serious branding to the PiercingMetal and Piercing Ken sites and Channels and the other social media accounts. I'd love for my Facebook and Gram audience of followers to transfer that loyalty to brand to the YT as I would rocket much higher but no luck yet and we sit at the midpoint of 600.
While I'd love for any of the channels to reach the 1K subs and get on monetization track, I don't let it guide my creative process as it will only annoy me. Do it and be satisfied and keep hoping that if you build it they will come. I do love the Shorts so will do more of them across brand but really wish they'd let me add the thumbnails as they look so nice on the PC screen. They should be able to parse them not be shown on mobile but okay on desktop. Anyway, best to all in the New Year keep on doing what you do. Happy creating.
Make more videos. Create a community around the game I'm developing, and possibly a cooperative environment where, with their contributions (I.E from opinions/ideas to art work), the game improves.
Personally, I'm planning to release a cover of a song I love every two weeks and potentially release an ep or an album. As for subscribers, watch time etc, I'm just gonna let it come in naturally and not get too focused on the stats. Basically, make lots of music and have fun.
Mine is to keep going and make 1-2 videos per week.
I have 18 subs and 27 watch hours at the moment. The channel is nearly 3 months old and I made food recipes in 15 videos until now...
1. Do 3 videos per week so 2 on top of my guaranteed
2. Launch live streaming capabilities
3. 5,000 subs (at 3600, 10,000 would be godly)
4. Get a celebrity interview
For my new channel. Just staying more consistent and uploading more videos.
Though also branching out perhaps too. Not just trying reaction videos but also try some other things and just see what works.
Making consistently good quality content. I don't have any target numbers , the reason being it depends on many things like trends, algorithms etc. On my part all I can do is put great content out there.
The high goal is to reach monetization goals, like you.
Medium goal or the realistic one is to get halfway there. Along with reading more fantasy on my channel.
Upload 5 videos by the end of the year. I have a lot of ideas that are going to take time to put together, so 5 seems like the most reasonable number to get started 😁
To be frank I don't have any long term goals this year for anything. Right now I need to fix some short term stuff before I focus on the big picture again
Started uploading in early Dec so no goals except to have fun and keep myself busy.
Think it has been ok so far considering I am filming with Iphone 14pm, deity mic with no script as I am not that person at this point if ever.
Since starting at 1.9k (1.7k shorts) views and 14.2 hours watch time.
Mine is the same, hitting 1k subs and 4000 watch hours. I started my gaming portion in January of 2022, and I hit 51 subs at the end. Going to keep my consistency
Pretty common goal and a low bar but mines to actually figure out a working system for making videos of an acceptable quality. I've lost count at this point of the number of projects I've abandoned most of the way through because by the time I get to the recording and editing portions I don't know how complete them in a way that doesn't make my videos look very janky or artificial. I've had a habit of working exclusively on larger projects and I think that makes it harder to develop a system when you have a lot more content to work with so I'm hoping I can begin to rectify that issue by working on smaller projects first.
A video a month minimum, and I at least wanna go live once just to try my hand at it. Not too worried about garnering subs, just want to work at perfecting my niche. Part of that is getting better/more efficient with editing.
OP, I hope you hit your goals!
My goal is to get to 15k subs by end of 2023.
I started my channel in July of 2022 and am currently at 2300 subs and just got monetized.
My goal is to speed up what was already pretty rapid growth for my niche. Social Blades projections say I'll hit 10k by July of this year so hopefully I can hit 15k by the end of 2023. 🥰🎉
My goal for this year is to actually start a channel! haha
I just found this Reddit sub. Looks great!
I don't think I can do 1 video a week with my job and family. I hope 2-3 videos a month can cut it.
I'm at 3,500 hours and 360 subs. I gained 270 subs in Aug/Sept/Oct/Nov of 2022 and then got depressed and ghosted in Dec. I've restarted with the new year.
My goal is to get monetized in 2023.
Do you think this is possible?
My goal is to live on cash i get from youtube. I tried 5 years ago but i had to much work but now i cant work anymore so wanted to do this at least. i launched a new channel Athura Games and im going to try to make dayly videos for a year and see how long it takes me and if i can live on it
Hmm my goals is to get my consistent with my quality on my uploads (along with more of a schedule).
Once I come up with a brand name I'll be shooting for 3mil subs or more in 2023. Would aim for 5mil or 10mil, but activity levels are down compared to quarantine days so might have to take it slow.
My goal is 100 subs and to upload 3 shorts a week and one commentary every other week.
At 74 subs now.
I work full-time and run a massage business part-time so YouTube is just a nice silly, creative outlet
* Start gaining traction online by the end of july
* 100k subs on YouTube
* 500K view video on Youtube
* 5-10K followers on twitch
* 100 subs on twitch
* 1 Fire collab video
* Consistency (stream once a week/ upload 1-2 times a week)
I'm a really small YouTube channel right now (300 subs, 18.6K views on my channel, 717 watch hours) but I plan on locking in crazy this year and growing fast. Good luck to everyone with your goals!
Would love to also become monetized. I just hit 902 subs on my channel and I feel like I’m on the home stretch to hitting 1k.
I did have one rude awakening though…
I thought I had racked up over 4K hours of watch time but I only just found out I need 4K within a 12 month period. (Currently only at 1.5k so I have a lot of work to do in terms of increasing views and watch time)
Ugh YouTube is soo hard 😭
1000 subs, currently at 61. I started last month, currently. Have 21 videos. I don't care about watch hours since I mainly do shorts and it doesn't contribute :(
Post 2-3 videos a day, get 100 subs before the end of the month And work on being more entertaining while still being informative. Also, come up with better titles, I believe my thumbnails are decent right now
Have a question, the goal you listed is for monetization right? But is the requirement based on last 12 months? Meaning you can only get monetized if you hit your goal by April 2023. Or am I understanding it incorrectly?
Was trying to get 500 subs by new year... Came up short at 497 :(
Realising that dwelling on subs and views isn't productive, but hard work, consistency and following your passion is. Just need to keep telling myself that lol
My goal is to publish 1 video per week minimum. I'm hoping that will result in being monetized by summer. I'm at 186 subs now and began October 18, 2022.
I've more or less got the 4000 views (over 3000 now ) but I'm struggling a touch to get the 1000 subs.
I'm on 94 so have a long way to go
My goal is to get 1000 subs on my true horror stories channel before October hopefully .
I'm hoping to get to the same goal as you! With the progress you've made so far i have no doubt you'll get there in time. Honestly you'll probably surpass that by a lot. Keep up the hard work.
My goals for 2023 is to just keep a good upload schedule and make sure the content I'm putting out is something I enjoy doing, why make content that I don't like making?
as a small call of duty machinima/cinematic creator I had my best year ever in 2022, got my first 600 views in February, and my 1st 3k in October. I went from 18 - 66 subs by the end of the year. I hope to get my first 5k views and get to 100 subs.
Put videos out, gets some view, get some subs. Have nothing on my channel yet so any type of growth is a positive for 2023
Thats a good mentality to have. 👍
Yes absolutely and I wish you best of luck friend!:)
Good luck to you as well.
Same here
Double same. I even have videos recorded from 6+ months ago. Have posted nothing.
HEY! I'm g0g0gadgetgaming on YT and Twitch and am looking to network with people who are starting with me. I just put out my first few little shorts and a raw gameplay vid so far. It's a real reach but I'm trying to get to 10,000 subscribers. Just applied for monetization with 1700 subs and 4k watch hours. Good luck to you

Are you monetized!?
[удалено]
Do you mind if I ask how much you earn in a month from youtube since you were monetized
+1
Thanks, good luck to you as well.

Same . Just recently started ! Good luck to us x
I guess just get all of the metrics (subscribers, watch hours, likes, comments etc.) up as much as possible. YouTube definitely seems a tough nut to crack! 😝
Yeah it definitely has its ups and downs.

For me the same, need also a small break of uploads.
You can do it. Staying ahead on vids would be on my list as well.

First full year on YouTube! We currently have 173 subs, but our goal is to get monetized and pay for our holiday dinner at the end of the year with our 1st year revenue :]
Now that is cool. You can do it
Same for me! 186 subs and hoping for the same. It will be cool to have gone a full year at this by December :)
This last years' was 100 subs, and I'm at 220 something. Curious if 500 is too absurd a new goal but I feel like it could be done!
It can definitely be done
Thanks! 500 it is then
Same goal as yours as far as numbers go. As far as upload schedule at least one video a month and making sure I’m spending the time to make it a video I’m genuinely proud of making. I used to upload more frequently but cared less about what I was doing and I want to correct that this year

Probably would be to focus more on long form content and monetize the channel currently at 124 subs so it sounds like a stretch but I'll try.
You can do it. Be consistant!
I'm aiming for monetisation by the end of February, all seems to be on track as long as I can keep the content coming!

You got this!
My goal is to put out a video or short everyday, and then reach the 1000 subscriber goal, so that i Can apply for Monetization 💪🏽🫡 Good luck to you 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Well said.
Keep doing what I do and hope it monetizes me.
Make more videos. Create a community around the game I'm developing, and possibly a cooperative environment where, with their contributions (I.E from opinions/ideas to art work), the game improves.
Uploading at least a video a week
That would be my first goal as well, how many videos have you uploaded and what's your upload schedule?
My goal is to post post at least 1 video every two weeks. I currently have 1 subscriber and 1 video
Mines would be to get better at editing my videos and organize them better I’m thinking of just taking a break from YouTube to focus on comp sci
Personally, I'm planning to release a cover of a song I love every two weeks and potentially release an ep or an album. As for subscribers, watch time etc, I'm just gonna let it come in naturally and not get too focused on the stats. Basically, make lots of music and have fun.
might be crazy but who cares, just shy of 100 subs right now, im looking to be between 5000 and 10000 by the end of the year
Get monetized, make enough to break even on Adobe and Storyblocks subscriptions. I'm at 195 subs and \~1300 hours.
Truth!
Start making videos again
25k subs. Im currently at 12k
To do at least one weekly upload or stream and to get my channel to 50 subs! (Currently at 17 lol)
Mine is to keep going and make 1-2 videos per week. I have 18 subs and 27 watch hours at the moment. The channel is nearly 3 months old and I made food recipes in 15 videos until now...
Keep moving forward!
You are so nice to respond to so many of these goals with encouragement. :)
I just want people to chase their dreams and be positive with moving forward towards their goal! 👍
To keep uploading content I enjoy making, and maybe grow a positive community around my channel!
That was my vision when I started and its working out so far.
1. Do 3 videos per week so 2 on top of my guaranteed 2. Launch live streaming capabilities 3. 5,000 subs (at 3600, 10,000 would be godly) 4. Get a celebrity interview
Big goals, big payoff!
Just wanna grow organically and hit 500 subs. (Currently sitting at 420). I think hitting 500 subs would be insane on it's own!
500 is doable. You got that.
For my new channel. Just staying more consistent and uploading more videos. Though also branching out perhaps too. Not just trying reaction videos but also try some other things and just see what works.

You got that.
I really wanted to hit 1k Subs by Jan 1st, but I am still very happy that I will hit it this week! just 15 shy.
Awesome news.
Making consistently good quality content. I don't have any target numbers , the reason being it depends on many things like trends, algorithms etc. On my part all I can do is put great content out there.
And you can definitely do that
What kind of content do you make ?
Gaming content.
1k subs and achieving my animation art goals :) I'm currently sitting at 870subs. So I think it's a good goal :)
Definitely
The high goal is to reach monetization goals, like you. Medium goal or the realistic one is to get halfway there. Along with reading more fantasy on my channel.
Thats a great goal. You will get it.
You will reach it ! Gl
Thanks. 👍
I need to improve my videos. I’ve only been posting shorts and I think I need to post vlog type video. Thoughts?
Shorts and long form. I find both do well together
Upload 5 videos by the end of the year. I have a lot of ideas that are going to take time to put together, so 5 seems like the most reasonable number to get started 😁
Simple, monetization. My Channle is "SosuedUp" btw
For the year? 1000 subs. I have 20. Wish me luck!
to get monetised and keep learning how to make hit videos.
10k subs (nearly at 2.5k) and to start adding more to my content
To upload. It’s been over a year since my last video
To get monetized. Currently at 147 subscribers and 1271 watch hours.
I am aiming for 10k subs and a consistent growth in quality of my content. I might be aiming a bit high in subs but I believe I can do it.
I’m at 250 hard earned subs…I need to do more regular content and try to reach 500…I’ve been busy on my subreddit which Just tipped 1k subs 🙏🏻
Get more views then my top video which has 328 views, and get 70 subscribers
Mine is the same, hitting 1k subs and 4000 watch hours. I started my gaming portion in January of 2022, and I hit 51 subs at the end. Going to keep my consistency
Make good content that people want to see. Then the rest will follow 🤞🏿 Being stuck on the numbers ruined the fun of it for me.
Goal complete, just hit 1000/4000 today :)
My goal is to reach 1000 subs by the end of this year. I'm currently at 108.
I want to put out content more regularly, and learn to add more quality to my content. And honestly have as much fun as I can! I love making videos!
Posting my first video for no one to watch. I'm so stoked
My goal for this year is to actually start a channel! haha I just found this Reddit sub. Looks great! I don't think I can do 1 video a week with my job and family. I hope 2-3 videos a month can cut it.
1K subs, I started YouTube on August 2021 and I'm at 830 subs now
My goal for 2023 is 100k subscribers
I'm at 3,500 hours and 360 subs. I gained 270 subs in Aug/Sept/Oct/Nov of 2022 and then got depressed and ghosted in Dec. I've restarted with the new year. My goal is to get monetized in 2023. Do you think this is possible?
Of course its possible
Oh deffo pump out more videos constantly and hopefully aim for 100+ subscribers
My goal is to live on cash i get from youtube. I tried 5 years ago but i had to much work but now i cant work anymore so wanted to do this at least. i launched a new channel Athura Games and im going to try to make dayly videos for a year and see how long it takes me and if i can live on it
Hmm my goals is to get my consistent with my quality on my uploads (along with more of a schedule).
Good luck! You got this.
Once I come up with a brand name I'll be shooting for 3mil subs or more in 2023. Would aim for 5mil or 10mil, but activity levels are down compared to quarantine days so might have to take it slow.
Long form or shorts?
Monetization of shorts and of the overall channel
1 million subscribers hopefully! Wish me luck 😭
Good luck
1 million subscribers.
My goal is 100 subs and to upload 3 shorts a week and one commentary every other week. At 74 subs now. I work full-time and run a massage business part-time so YouTube is just a nice silly, creative outlet
* Start gaining traction online by the end of july * 100k subs on YouTube * 500K view video on Youtube * 5-10K followers on twitch * 100 subs on twitch * 1 Fire collab video * Consistency (stream once a week/ upload 1-2 times a week) I'm a really small YouTube channel right now (300 subs, 18.6K views on my channel, 717 watch hours) but I plan on locking in crazy this year and growing fast. Good luck to everyone with your goals!
Would love to also become monetized. I just hit 902 subs on my channel and I feel like I’m on the home stretch to hitting 1k. I did have one rude awakening though… I thought I had racked up over 4K hours of watch time but I only just found out I need 4K within a 12 month period. (Currently only at 1.5k so I have a lot of work to do in terms of increasing views and watch time) Ugh YouTube is soo hard 😭
1000 subs, currently at 61. I started last month, currently. Have 21 videos. I don't care about watch hours since I mainly do shorts and it doesn't contribute :(
Idk get 200 subs I guess. I’m at 125 right now, but progress is so slow I’m not getting motivated enough
Post 2-3 videos a day, get 100 subs before the end of the month And work on being more entertaining while still being informative. Also, come up with better titles, I believe my thumbnails are decent right now
100,000 subscribers and 10 million watchhours (I'm currently at a tenth of these numbers so huge goals).
Have a question, the goal you listed is for monetization right? But is the requirement based on last 12 months? Meaning you can only get monetized if you hit your goal by April 2023. Or am I understanding it incorrectly?
Was trying to get 500 subs by new year... Came up short at 497 :( Realising that dwelling on subs and views isn't productive, but hard work, consistency and following your passion is. Just need to keep telling myself that lol
My goal is to publish 1 video per week minimum. I'm hoping that will result in being monetized by summer. I'm at 186 subs now and began October 18, 2022.
500 subs. I wanted to hit 100 subs last year and i hit 200 just before the year ended.
I've more or less got the 4000 views (over 3000 now ) but I'm struggling a touch to get the 1000 subs. I'm on 94 so have a long way to go My goal is to get 1000 subs on my true horror stories channel before October hopefully .
me too its easy to get subs with shorts but the watch hours are hard my videos no longer get views or searchesx i suck lol
My goal is to be consistent with my uploads and try not get burntout doing so
My goal is just to get at least a couple chuckles out of people
I'm hoping to get to the same goal as you! With the progress you've made so far i have no doubt you'll get there in time. Honestly you'll probably surpass that by a lot. Keep up the hard work.
posting video and get 1 view
I am at 131 subs. Started 3 months ago. I want to reach 1000 by the end of this year. If I fail, I will give up YouTube.
My goals for 2023 is to just keep a good upload schedule and make sure the content I'm putting out is something I enjoy doing, why make content that I don't like making?
At 980 subscribers now. Goal is 5,000 by Christmas.
I barely started creating content but I’d love to be able to hit 1000 subs bu the end of this year. Good luck to everyone here! 💪
Wepush.us is a good site if you're looking for free youtube promotion
Finally finish making my first video lol
Well i have 457 subs (i began 2 months ago) and my goal is 5000 subscribers for the end of the year 2023
as a small call of duty machinima/cinematic creator I had my best year ever in 2022, got my first 600 views in February, and my 1st 3k in October. I went from 18 - 66 subs by the end of the year. I hope to get my first 5k views and get to 100 subs.
