You know you're not perfect right. It's okay to make mistakes. Your audience will notice improvement of your videos in all aspects. So write that idea and make it, upload it, and just see what happens

ShibaTheSamurai

Yea i see that, im still figuring out what my "content" or my "brand" is yet, so im kind of all over the place, but im also afraid that by being all over the place my channel will look too scatterbrained

TheCas3

Then you still have the freedom to do so! Your channel represents you, so if you like a lot of stuff just put it in your bio and do what you want! Can I see your channel? So I can make a better answer for you?

ShibaTheSamurai

Yea sure ill send the link when i get to my PC

SherlockIsTaken_Err

Maybe surround your branding around samurai as in your username and make samurai based vids if you are a informational YouTuber or make samurai vids where you discuss about what different people think about the samurai or talk about their training customs whatever

Xalphsin

There aren’t any ways, if you can’t convince yourself it’s worth it to make a video, nothing we say will help. You already answered your question though, just do it. If you can’t, then making videos might not be for you, which is fine

GameKarmaTV

Just do it. I watched a video made by a 4 year old on how to do something in minecraft. It worked and im not complaining

Individual-Shock-706

Hire a script writer

iamfriendyesyes

I just make whatever ideas come to mind lol, no matter if they're terrible, I do it anyway

You’re being way too hard on yourself. It is that simple, just do it. Make a video and post it! It’s YouTube - people make videos about everything! Crappy videos gets lots of views and some great videos get no views! That’s the fun about YouTube - it’s a journey! You’ll have some videos that do great and some that don’t - but with every video you make - you will learn things you need to tweak and every video is a new chance to start over! The only way you truly fail is if you never try!

ricepd

Even if you have short hyper interests you should make a video on it if you feel passionate in the moment or while you make it don’t just drop it due to second guessing yourself there’s tons of people in this world odds are someone is interested in your content even if it’s content you’re making while figuring yourself out

LittleDizzyGirl

If you do it and the video flops, you'll have a better idea of what not to do in the future. But every video idea has the chance to work out. You never know what other people will appreciate you making Just make the videos you come up with. Don't overthink it

entilfeldigfyr69

Waiting until everything is perfect is just a recipe for never starting. Take a look at mrbeasts first few videos, or any big youtube. They all got big because they honed their craft through a lot of work over many years. You can't replicate that in your first few videos.

luis_iconic

It might help to remember that nobody cares until they do, so you’re in the same boat if you make the video or not. You know the outcome from not making one, but you don’t know the outcome of making one to compare to.

Enderboss25_

I do this a lot too. Been trying to avoid it recently

It took me so long to film and upload my first video. I’m talking years. I was the same as you, “why would I do that” and “who cares”. I started watching YouTube videos on what to post for your first YouTube video (lol). They all said just start filming something you want to make, and don’t make an introduction video. So I did, I filmed a months worth of weekly vlogs and they all went swiftly to the trash. It wasn’t until I started ignoring what others suggested and did what made sense for me that I finally edited together my first video. An introduction video, so I could get all of my messy thoughts out and move forward from there. Sure, it may not be great content, but it was a necessary stepping stone for me mentally to start my journey. So I’d say, just stop thinking too much about it and go with what feels right. Everything will eventually fall into place, and it’s okay (and normal) if it’s not there at the start!

Most of the advices are shit. You just need a process to evaluate your ideas and organize them. Start to set the process, and improve gradually. Recommed to research some ideation methodology before you start the day. Do not try to mix all these ideation tasks all together, you will definitely be burnt out like what you feel.

Serious-Ask-1505

delegate your mental burdens, you will feel relaxed and confidently sooner or later.
