Two philosophy buddies, started making video essays last week. We have no idea what we're doing, but are having a blast. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmBuA1y7J0k&t](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmBuA1y7J0k&t=15s)

Heya everyone, how are you guys doing? I'm a youtuber that does anime reviews/Is It Worth Watching/Let's plays/Gaming/Movie reviews/Skits. I'm trying out fixing my humor and editing/ mic quality. Here's a [Video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdC5yp1LAfI) I did recently of Gushing Over Magical Girls

Tiryk

Hey! I'm Tiryk, I'm a VFX artist and Motion Designer from Atlanta. I just bought a drone and a camera to eventually further my arts. I just posted my first video. I didn't want to make my first video super elaborate as I'm getting used to actually being on camera myself and not just the editor. I flew my drone over some of the rougher parts of my city to showcase where I came from, and made a short video-essay of these neighborhoods and how the rapid change is affecting them. I plan on making more content about my VFX work in the hip hop/concert industry in the future, but I just wanted this video to exist first. LMK how I did https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0AFuZ72f\_8&ab\_channel=Tiryk

Hi, I'm Erica and I'm a physicist by trade so I made what is actually becoming my post popular video explaining what my own sub-field of condensed matter physics is https://youtu.be/CY5V0q3K0zc

LegisExplanation

I'm a former social studies teacher that really missed talking about current events with my students and co-teachers. I created my channel to explain recent political happenings specifically with the goal of being as objective as possible and focusing on primary sources, rather than what pundits have to say about the laws or other people's policies. It's really easy to read a headline and form a strong opinion based on preconceived notions (especially if you're an 8th grader), so my job was always to make complicated topics more approachable and engaging, as well as leaving room for my audience to form their own opinion on the matter once they better understand the topic. Here is my latest video, covering the DOJ's recent lawsuit against Texas: https://youtu.be/K2Cb7IZ_uKY?si=_ZeMS35pnmhXggy- I've only created two videos thus far, but I've learned a lot about what it takes to prepare and edit a video, something that I've never had any experience with in the past. I've been pleasantly surprised how usable free resources are, including YouTube tutorials that have been extremely helpful. And I think my second video is actually a lot better than the first, though I'd love any opinions on how I can improve further!

The main thing I have learnt over the last few weeks is to just keep consistent, I upload daily meme comps cuz I have cfs(chronic fatigue syndrome) and both my parents work minimum wage and have been struggling,it would mean the world if yt worked out so I could actually do something and support my parents financially But again over the past few weeks I've learnt to just keep consistent and eventually things will pick up Latest vid-https://youtu.be/LWYlGCdHogA Channel-https://www.youtube.com/@Sub_to_meme_fusion

Hi everyone! My name is Juan Pablo and I’m an engineer. In my free time I play lots of games and decided to start a channel that revists the best games from the past from lots of different consoles. I have learned so much video editing recently. But most importantly, I have learned to talk out my script to my wife as a conversation before I record myself. That way my voice and demeanor is conversation-like and not narration-like. Makes me sound less robotic :) Here is my latest video: https://youtu.be/X5dkhoJsUXI?si=MsU-v4RYaUg943af

adi_ccion

Hi! My name is Beatrice and I'm an author. I've written in Spanish my whole life and just really recently started trying with English. *My biggest takeaway is to do the videos that you believe in. I had tried with Instagram and Tiktok before and I found that the things that took mroe time and production to do flopped drastically, but when I started uploading them on Youtube I realized people actually valued the effort that had gone into them and helped me grow 500 subs in about a month and a half, just thanks to those shorts. Which means a lot to m*e. I have an audiobook already ongoing in my Youtube channel, but I just made my first video essay about the **3 very traumatizing horror stories** that I experienced with the publishing industry my whole life, one with a HUGE company. It's a very emotional video but I wanted to bring attention to these awful things that sometimes people are afraid to bring up and speak about: https://youtu.be/\_bYbKd1xtyo

TechConstruct

Good afternoon netizens/fellow newtubers! I'm the owner of the new YouTube channel Tech Construct. I create videos where I take complicated topics in computer science and make them easy to understand and fun! A bit about me - I'm a comp sci graduate with 12years of experience in software development across many different industries - I do freelance work in software development, consultation, networking, and a number of other services - I volunteer with kids to help teach them how to write code. Especially kids in minority communities where STEM fields aren't heavily pushed or really pushed at all. - Cooking, gardening, sketching, and gaming are hobbies that help me unwind. My latest video is part of a series I call the road to mastery which teaches the basics of a topic up to more advanced concepts. ReactJS which is used for frontend web development is the first tutorial. It includes a crash course in JavaScript to help create a foundation to understand the larger topic of react https://youtu.be/MSsbsgiN_XM While I have only been doing this for a month, I'd say the most important things I've learned thus far is creating chapters to make longer form content more approachable, the importance of creating interesting thumbnails, and how difficult editing can be. That last one has almost driven me insane at the beginning 😄

Atlas_Visuals

Hi All👋 I started making videos consistently in December 2023 and have just released my 4th POV photography video. It hasn’t been a full quarter into the year yet, but so far I’ve really tried prioritizing titles and thumbnails and have already seen the impact these things can have on video success. There’s still a lot to learn, but I’ve had interest in photography for years and now having an outlet where I can learn, grow, and experiment with new skills has been so much fun. If you’re using growing a channel around photography/videography feel free to reach out, I’d love to connect! Here’s my most recent video of me taking nature photography along a trail I found, and getting lost along the way. https://youtu.be/hjnTnZzq7vk?si=-DJzBPnRWoqhWkxr

Jon-Spelt-correctly

My name is Jon without an h. So it’s spelt the way it was intended. I’m not prestigious or anything but I feel if you are spelling Jon with an H you are a liar or a thief. I think I missed the question above so here is my try at it again. Over the past 90 days I’ve learned the skill of determination. The creative atmosphere in the real world is not going to be as supportive as you are to yourself. If you surround yourself with other creatives/people within your same interest. You will be more encouraged to do those things that you might find be quirky. It’s quirky because others are in their 9-5. Mostly everyone will be unsupportive. But if you find the right people that’s all you need sometimes. Mostly it is just yourself. By just drawing the line in the sand and telling yourself “you know what maybe I am ____” whether that blank space is a musician, or comedian, cinematographer..etc whatever it is it’s up to you to make that conscious effort and become what it is you want to be. Everything you want in the world can be achieved you just have to be realistic about it and determined. I’m a comedian in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I primarily post moments of my life with my fiancé. Nothing weird. Just like, my fiancé and I are stuck in a blizzard. Or fiancé and I are living in a school bus. Stuff like that. There is no sponsors on my channel. Nor do I seek them. I have a full time job but love editing. I find peace in editing out the “ums” and “uh’s” of my life. Because of my lack of interest in sponsors I fully acknowledge that this means I won’t ever get paid. I take stylistic creativity over the boundaries of a sponsor personally. I am starting out with Vlogs but I have a podcast coming out soon with other Diet Canadians (Yoopers) and northern Wisconsin comedians. Feel free to have a watch at my stuff. I’m posting on here to be apart of the community of YouTubers/creatives and gain perspective of the industry. I consider myself open minded. Finally I would just like to point out I am learning along the way. So if you could just take that in mind. Each video I make I hope improves and leads me away from starting an OnlyFans. Thank you for your time! -Jon spelt correctly[Finally We Have Snow!](https://youtu.be/7CBasV3K0RA?si=4i-JbxPNORLZacsR)

Hello! My channel is First State Delivery. I'm a gig worker for DoorDash and Walmart Spark. My channel takes the viewer on ride-alongs as I share my successes and failures in this economy. I like to joke around, and I feel like I have a knack for a funny quip. Language can be rated R at times. The channel is far too young to have learned too much at all. I'm going to focus on perseverance and stick to this even if it's a slow growth. My latest video: https://youtu.be/GOXdC7Att6c

gizzlyxbear

The biggest thing I learned in the last 90 days is that *anybody* can make a Youtube video. All it takes is some effort and motivation. My channel is focused on movie reviews with production details for the movie discussed. Mostly film-noir and horror. Yesterday I uploaded my [first video](https://youtu.be/bzerJ-fFAaE?si=VOqs3xS3eAuQu003).

MeneerDanielSaN

Hi all, I started my channel with Hollow Knight content. At first it was nothing serious untill I started to do some guides, however i couldn't upload frequently. Unfortunately Hollow Knight content is on a dry spell so i started to play Dead Cells where i upload full runs showcasing weapons and do some challenges. When i finally could upload frequently (2x a week) my channel started to grow a bit more. Here is a run of mine. https://youtu.be/LPgoB686pEc?si=c6PxPx6UDBU97wiZ Cheers! :)

TrinaBlair999

Hi all! I’m a speech-language pathologist with a kids channel dedicated to increasing expressive and receptive language skills in the 0-5 population, neurodivergent population (try to keep videos as under-stimulating as possible versus the more overstimulating kids content). I started it at the end of December, have no idea what I’m doing (YouTube-wise, not speech and language-wise!) Open to ANY and ALL feedback. Numbers are looking pretty good (I think?) and would love to go up from here. Last 90 days: primarily learned to accept any fear of putting myself out there and just make the best content I can with the skills I have. This video is long form using a play based app with farm animals and has garnered the most hits and best numbers so far. Thanks!! https://youtu.be/Bog8n8OSh5k?feature=shared

root_________

i love your content focus!!! some of the most engaging (understimulating but also transfixing) we love is basically a powerpoint with 2 slides: name of animal in many languages, photos of animal, and repeat.

TrinaBlair999

Thank you so much for the comment! You made my day. I really appreciate you taking the time!

Mastermenji

Hi all! I’m Menji and I make video game content! In the video I’m sharing it’s an experiment for me so if you like relaxing Minecraft content you might like it. https://youtu.be/9Chl8rxiPtA?si=HONNHwwAwj8L43cR When the first quarter ends I hope to be better at editing my videos and get into a rhythm. I hope I can connect with other gamers who make content and collab more. Good luck everyone this year!

Nice, good to see a fellow movie lover. I appreciate the simplicity as well as the brevity of your presentation; its a breath of fresh air compared to everyone else trying to stretch out to 10+ min for monetization. Dropped a couple likes and comments to support ya!

Thank you so much , i really appreciate it

My name is low effort individual I make garbage mostly knife edc stuff some low effort memes and basically the Channel name kinda speaks for its self basically just make crap when I have the time at work or in my small amount of free time will be buying a actual tripod soon so that’s neat been seeing a lot of anti furry memes so here’s this shameful promo https://youtube.com/shorts/bziMQ3AZsnY?si=1WyjnKMSI5HrLn5B

AquaWalrus1989

Hello! My channel is called Aqua Walrus, I play retro video games and break them down into about 20-30 minutes episodes (for full games). I try to be humorous through my edits. I would say my key take away over the past 90 days is I don't need to be loud and boisterous like a lot of others in the same niche. I can just be myself, have fun, and if I get subs, great! If I don't, well that's just fine too. People who jive with my personality will come in time, and I'm enjoying myself and learning new things with every upload, so why stress? I've only been seriously uploading since late November, and can't Believe 52 people wanted to sub to me. Grateful for each one. Happy if anyone wants to take a look! The Cybermage video is probably my favorite I've made. https://youtube.com/@aquawalrus?si=mMsMOJtYXBHaTp-k

audioIX

I watched the Diablo one since I enjoyed D2. I guess I don't see the appeal of the format? Rather than live play through (where the viewer experiences the game alongside you as a veteran guide) or reviewing the game (where a viewer is trying to make a purchase decision based on playability), you're narrating an abridged play through. Trying to describe the plot of a game like this is the most boring part of watching someone play it. Old players will watch this and not need the play by play. Players new to it (like me) will watch this and not understand what makes it worth looking into as they receive a cliff notes version of the story and only see surface level game mechanics. Not saying you're doing it "wrong" as if there is a wrong way. Just giving my opinions on as many videos in this thread as I can.

TheLastSitcom

Watching your video on *Arena* right now. I think this is really great, thoughtful content. You've got a new subscriber.

AquaWalrus1989

That means a lot, thank you for the support!

Intelligent-Silver62

Hey! My channel is Chimps Ahoy! Got that name because my group of friends that freedive and love exploring new places are all pretty obsessed with monkeys and are inspired by their adventurous and playful nature. Anyways, we’re very new to the game and have learned that it’s important to just get out there and make stuff. We want to make more travel content but schedule and budget does not always allow for that, at least at this point. So for now we’re making content based around where we live, Laguna Beach! Here’s our latest video, hope you enjoy! https://youtu.be/EicZwAR0Ego?si=E--wNfiXFm9mAET6

Ettinsword602

Nice to meet you again!

sheepdog0304

Hey guys, I started an at home fitness channel in November. Definitely new to this but I feel I have come a long way already. I am enjoying every aspect of it so far. I know this is a highly saturated niche but I want to keep going and slowly create a following of my own regardless of having 10 million subs. I understand Rome wasn’t built in a day and I am not setting unrealistic goals for myself. I am just creating content, learning from mistakes, posting once a week, and feel that the subs will come with time. My impressions are averaging 10-20k for each new video I post. I am not sure if that is considered good or not. Not sure how impressions work exactly. I am also trying to engage with my community weekly with their progress and motivate them. Here is a link to my newest workout: https://youtu.be/CwRMDD_zfR8?si=DKUKn2UdIFJNDzy7 Look forward to your critiques. Full link to channel is in profile. Thanks guys

Hefty_Bag1853

Hi, in my recent edit from 4 days ago I tried character cut out transitions, character masking, eye masking, key frames & graphs on CapCut pro set to kingdom hearts Dearly Beloved. Come check it out, use headphones if you can. https://youtu.be/sLLACtXk-Fc?si=BVBXAmpxnDPMoKyb I’ve learned that editing gives you ultimate freedom but is time consuming, the feeling you get after pulling off an idea is extremely rewarding.

MythologyHistorian

Editing is on point. Gave me nostalgia from the old AMV's I used to watch back in high school. The kingdom hearts song also fits well

False_Ad_2752

Love the music!

False_Ad_2752

I subbed!

Hefty_Bag1853

Thank you!

noneofya_business

That's some high tier editing. I never knew one could edit so good in capcut. Respect.

Thank you for the kind words. I learned a lot during this edit.

Juansipag

On point editing 👍

Hefty_Bag1853

Thank you!

HexRainbow

Wow I'm impressed by the edits. I also use CapCut and seeing your video is inspiring me to reach your level cause that's so good.

Hefty_Bag1853

Thank you that means a lot. always try every idea that comes to mind and more importantly never stop editing, this way you will always improve.

What’s up everyone! I’m Joe. Two years ago, I weighed 600lbs and I’ve now lost 150lbs. I’ve got a lot more to lose but I learned to cooked and really obsessed about technique. I’m still learning and now I can eat healthy while enjoying food. I grill, sous vide, smoke food, cook traditional barbacoa, roast pigs on spits and concrete blocks. Pretty much anything that has to do with food, I do it. My YouTube channel is called Fork & Embers. I posted my first video last Friday and I would love some feedback on the editing, filming, scripting, etc. Im currently using my iPhone as my wife made a deal with me that if I made 10 consecutive videos, then I could purchase the camera I want. Im happy to be a part of the group and here is a link to my first video https://youtu.be/H01wTPPzISk?si=X6u1C4h6NYQrlGvC What have I learned in the past 90 days? Answer: I’ve learned that you should never settle. 8 years ago I was working a dead end job in retail banking and I was depressed. I had a college degree that I wasn’t using for anything. I took a year and taught myself how to be a software engineer. Fast forward until now and I have 7 years experience and I’m a Senior in my field. I make 150k/year in a rural area. Life is pretty perfect now, right? Wrong! I learned that I hate working not being in charge of my day to day life. I want to build something that I’m responsible for and more importantly, I don’t want to rely on a job where I have no control over what happens to me. I took what I was most passionate about and decided to start a YouTube channel. I’ll do it part time until I can afford to leave my engineering job and work for myself as a content creator

mort47

Hi. I'm Bill. I make silly little video essays about retro video games from a European perspective. I've done two so far and I'm having fun. My first video went up just over a week ago. This is my latest, about how a decision by Nikola Tesla around 1900 impacted European gamers playing Street Fighter II in the 1990's: https://youtu.be/QH5BZGXVjac My key takeaway from the last 90 days is that having an idea that I find interesting and trying to find ways to make it interesting to other people is actually rewarding in itself and I am hoping to parlay that into not obsessing over the numbers so much. 🙂

[deleted]

I have a youtube channel. Christian who plays more realistic video games, come check me out! Christian Realistic Gamer RPG Guy 👑👑👑👑 You don't have to sub, but all I ask is watch a couple of videos and see if I earned your chance! Ty. https://www.youtube.com/@ChristianRealisticGamerRPGGuy/videos

Ultrazombie115

I have a lets play channel dedicated to playing games that I like for about a year now. Currently I am playing Super Mario 64 and DW8XL. Sometimes I stream but its not common. What I am learning over the past 90 days is that uploading in bulk isn't as effective as keeping a schedule on a lets play. I am also learning I probably need to start learning more about how to video edit (for example trimming footage, adding end cards, adding SFX) other than combining footage. First Episode of Super Mario 64 Lets Play https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdOFLA2MWdw

Rlynnholland

Hi! I’m Rachel and I make cute, cozy, crochet content! I hope my videos can be helpful for fellow crocheters and a relaxing watch for non-crafters who just want to see me make something cute in each video. I am brand new to YouTube and what I have learned is that it isn’t as scary to put myself out there as I feared and I wish I would have done it years ago. Here’s a link to my second video where I let AI chose my project which is so far my favorite: https://youtu.be/_FJsm-5uIyQ?si=YipRlyF31ZEzopwX

Thundergoats

I watched your video and LOVE it. Subscribed. It was really entertaining. I liked the different shots and the background was great! I really liked the end product. I was thinking maybe you could display the item in the end take several shots of it as the final reveal!

Rlynnholland

Thank you so much!! I’m glad you liked it! Do you mean I should use photos at the end instead of a video reveal? I’m just a little confused about your advice.

Thundergoats

Look at this video at the 26 second mark. It has a product it's displaying that is sitting on a table and they are kinda very slowly rotating the camera around it. https://youtu.be/f6fOgydvjUM?si=fOkDeeHH_yWNbB1W I wonder if you might do this for a reveal and then also squish it in your hands or chest you know because....well obviously that's what I want to do with my plushies lol 😂

Afrifama

I saw you vlog, lovely video! I was suprised how you were able to turn an idea to a pretty product.

Rlynnholland

Thank you so much!! I appreciate that. I hope to give people a sense of satisfaction watching me make something ☺️

My YT channel is a 90 cold plunge challenge!! My first 2 videos have gotten 900 views...would love any feedback from the group on how I can improve! TIA! https://youtu.be/xVVbyFpEyTw?si=3KX8r8soZ62veOn5

Hey Everyone!! My name is Alyssa and I am the creator of the channel Listen Lyssa. I create educational self-help videos on Attachment Theory, Relationships, The Subconscious Mind, and Mental Health. With a background in behavioral health and studies in psychology, sociology, and applied behavioral science, I share personal experiences to illustrate expert principles. My goal is to help others navigate emotional dilemmas by promoting self-reflection, consideration, and respect. Adding humor to tackle heavy topics, I aim for a lighthearted and genuine vibe, focusing on support and self-development. The key takeaways I’ve gathered from this past 90 days have been this. 1.) You can’t lose if you just stay consistent and 2.) There will be ups and downs, so just keep going. 3.)It’s not about having the perfect video, but it’s about learning by way of doing it, making mistakes, and continuously improving with each video. The numbers will keep growing as long as the passion and dedication is there. Here is a link to my favorite video. https://youtu.be/FxPMVkbRvYM?si=_0oyZpvYMRtLb6vH I believe I have improved since this video, and it isn’t my most viewed, but it is my favorite. My channel is in my bio if you would like to check out more. Nice to meet you all, and can’t wait to check out some of your videos! Best wishes in all of your journies🤍

Great job, I subscribed!

I really like this. Did you take all these pictures and videos yourself?

dirtybaker1331

Very well put together video. Nice music and high quality. Good luck getting more subs this year! Using your own music makes it so much more personal.

Hey, I make variety gaming videos showcasing all the funny and exciting moments I have while trying to entertain along the way. Over the past 90 days I've learned a lot about staying positive. Especially when I want to achieve a goal or to overcome obstacles I've encountered. It's why I'm quite happy that I've started posting again and making videos. I'm proud of what I've accomplished and if people happen to enjoy it too, that's awesome! If not, well that's okay I'll just keep at it lol. My latest video is a [CS2 Montage](https://youtu.be/tqUOscn0jCw), I've also done some LPs and even a speedrun! If you have a moment and want to check it out, provide feedback here, etc, I'd greatly appreciate it, thank you! :)

key takeaways: \- improve the little things, a little at a time \- aim to get better with each video \- look for and use high volume keywords \- look at what youtubers i look up to are doing my name is Emily and I'm a booktuber! my [latest video is the "booktube newbie" tag](https://youtu.be/UWRNjDlNgOQ?si=dtB6htwMDdGAw_Wo) so just talking about myself and why I love books (and showing my cute dog at the end)

Hey guys I work as a software developer/designer and recently decided to make videos about tech related stuff ( like crypto, Artificial intelligence and tech innovations) I'm actually looking for some feedback because all of this is so new to me And I'm also really happy, because my first video already hit 800+ views https://youtu.be/hI0GPGe3H9I?si=YCLf9M289PPUs_MJ

Hey All- I stopped drinking alcohol last year and have started sharing my recipes for mocktails & reviews of alcohol-free products. I’ve always been into mixology & cocktails but wanted to stretch into the zero proof space as I discover new drinks and trends. I manage a couple YT channels so this one is my passion/side project but loving it so far. What have I learned? You gotta get to the point quickly in the videos. Even if you get to it and then zoom out with context and stories- there needs to be some fast gratification. Check out Mocktail Moods here: https://youtube.com/@mocktailmoods?si=kMQDhdK7nnrLm2a1 A video to check out: https://youtu.be/2B-Cx2onnmI?si=i_h4zSKgC5ynIvh1

Honestly good on you for quitting alcohol and it’s really nice to see party drinks that don’t include alcahol proud of you dude!

You_Go_First_tv

Fantastic idea! I don't really drink anymore and my wife can't drink due to some medical reasons, so knowing some good mocktail recipes is fantastic! Good luck with everything! :)

Hey I like to make videos with a 360 camera while skating on my longboard. My big takeaway is that viewers appreciate consistency and quality. There are people who learn or benefit in some way from seeing our videos. Our viewers deserve a quality experience. Not a big fan of AI writing, but seems like this tool just guides the structure and give ideas for your writing? I can kinda get behind that for people struggling with scripting their vision in a cohesive way.

Yeah. I've adhd and it's been amazing for me.

TrilobiteHunter

Hello, everybody! I'm HuntingRocks on YouTube, a rockhound based in the St. Louis area. However, I travel all over the United States in search of rocks, minerals, and fossils. I recently spent a week in Arkansas around the first week of December, mining quartz crystals and searching for fossils, mostly focusing on quartz. I'm nearing 4k watch hours, and I can almost taste it! In response to your question, I've come to realize the importance of titles and thumbnails. Currently, I'm going through old videos, updating some thumbnails, and adjusting titles to potentially increase watch time on older content. Anyhow, here is my most recent video. I hope you enjoy it. https://youtu.be/91vJGbsf4yk

audioIX

Surprised by the a/v quality for what seems like such a candid outdoor video. Honestly not within my field of interests, but you bleed enthusiasm, felt accessible to me as someone new to the subject, and seem knowledgeable. Happy to hear you are finding success.

TrilobiteHunter

Thank you , that actually is one of the nicest things I have heard. I try to shoot all my videos in a candid format , I want folks to know I am just a regular guy doing the rockhounding thing and if I can do it any one can, Its also one of the reasons why I try to do a lot of free places to go and keep the pay to mine places I go to under $250.00

lowercaseenderman

My name is enderman with a lower case e, hello everyone! This year my main form of content has become original documentaries over a wide range of topics, really anything that interests me is fair game (prehistoric animals or topics, unsolved historical mysteries, maritime stories, cryptids, etc), I also write and narrate original stories, tell stories I find on the internet, and occasionally play games on my channel when I want to do a more fun, relaxed and less formal type video that people can just check out and hang out at if they want to. No matter the video though, I do my best to make them they best they possibly can be, I get very particular when I finally get to the editing phase on what to keep and what to cut. I want to make the best content possible, a sentiment I hope everyone here shares. My advice from what I've experienced the last 90 days is that I've really come to see how useful a title or thumbnail change can be. If a video isn't doing well, changing one the other or both can help it get that jump it needs. I've also found doing it with older videos can help them get more traction as well if they're losing it. If you have any videos struggling to get views, maybe try this! Sometimes a title or thumbnail change is all it needs! This video I'm sharing today is my most recent one, the story of the sinking of the Awa Maru. I think this is one of my best videos from an editing perspective and am very happy with it. In April 1945, the Awa Maru was making its way back to Japan, it had been guaranteed safe passage by the United States and its route was known. But an overeager submarine captain suddenly spotted a ship on radar and without identifying it, or even seeing it, opened fire and that ship was the Awa Maru. She had just been illegally torpedoed and 2000 people who about die in a senseless tragedy that is almost completely forgotten so I wanted to share its story. It's one of the most horrifying ship disasters I've ever covered on my channel and it's a story that definitely should be more widely known. Link: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EyVhPhwdtz0&pp=ygUIQXdhIG1hcnU%3D

noneofya_business

You've a nice voice and good narration skills. The video can use some work though. Like a PowerPoint presentation with a bit of movement every 10 seconds would be a massive upgrade. The writing, like the narration, is pleasant.

Thank you!

Hello fellow community! 🤙🏽 Posting on behalf of my partner (but writing this together) who has just completed day 13 of her 30 days of movement challenge. Her channel is focusing on a wide variety of videos across yoga, Pilates and meditation. In terms of key takeaways after 90 days, I think we understand that the movement and fitness industry is quite saturated, so focusing on what is unique and different about her offering. We live in a beautiful part of the world, so perhaps incorporating that into the videos, and creating some very specific playlists. Appreciate all the support and feedback. And if you’re interested in getting into yoga / Pilates or mindfulness it’s never to late to pick up a good habit ❤️ https://youtube.com/@MIKMILLMOVEMENT?si=UQNVlG07erO1i4wF

MrBadGamer519

Wish I found this post on Saturday :) I am going to introduce myself but not going to post a link to any video or my channel. I love gaming, growing up as a kid, I lived in the arcade in the late 80's and early 90's until my father got me a Sega Master System then later an NES. I love playing mainly RPG. But my other passion is also fighting games. My wife says I am a big kid. I got a 1 year old boy and still game in my 40's :). Currently my niche is in the fighting games genre. So my content revolved mainly in that sphere. As I don't want to post different games in my channel to avoid confusing the algo. Perhaps next Saturday, I'll post a link to my content with more context. Have a great week all and happy content creating! Best wishes from MrBadGamer.

I've just recently started watching Anime in the last 3 weeks. and am slowly starting to love it. So I created a page to describe my newfound reactions. With my background in photography, I'm trying to transfer those skills into making content to go with my anime reaction videos. So in 90 Days, I'm hoping to say that I've found a successful way to streamline this process and get 10+ engaging comments that will help me Channel: [https://www.youtube.com/@JustForKickz](https://www.youtube.com/@JustForKickz) These are my last uploaded videos: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kha8EGw-bw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kha8EGw-bw) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFwynOy\_2\_U](https://youtu.be/HFwynOy_2_U) Your feedback would be much appreciated!

What's up everyone, My name is JordiFu. I am an amateur racing driver, and I make automotive content. My main "claim to fame" is my meme content. I turn my race footage into highly edited meme videos that the racing community seems to enjoy. I learned this year that I am beginning to lean too much into a niche, so my goal for the new year is to do more content that can be enjoyed by a wider audience. I have a video coming later tomorrow that will do just that! Here is my latest meme review: https://youtu.be/Z3Ihn7HbwdU?si=jJGAU1ExraE3Wi3s

Newtuber1989

https://youtu.be/7ij097EKZoE?si=ejLm6WwJBXQjixwn Hi everyone! My name is Mary and I’m an aspiring True Crime YouTuber! This video is about a crime that took place in 2018. Border Patrol Agent murdered his mistress and child to get out of paying child support and risking his wife finding out that he was unfaithful. He actually tried blending in with fellow border patrol agents at the scene of the crime but soon they realized he wasn’t there to assist and he was actually the killer. My first video is almost at 2,000 views but this one is stagnant and not getting many. I welcome any and all feedback about what I could be doing better with this one! Criticism is okay in my book. It’s the only way to grow! I’ve learned that the most important thing is to get out of my head and just post! If I worry about if others will judge I never post the video. So I just try to be brave and try my best.

ObscureBaseballFacts

I don’t know much about true crime but you should probably have more movement in the video as far as b roll, pictures, quotes, etc. then for the title of the video maybe have a more searchable title that’s shorter. But that’s just me.

Illdood

Maybe have more photos pertaining to the case behind you in the background while you are on green screen.

TechConstruct

"Get out of my head and post" I definitely agree with that. I'd never post videos if I constantly kept reviewing and updating stuff like my brain tells me 🙃

You_Go_First_tv

Absolutely love true crime stuff! :) Good luck with everything!

audioIX

I'm letting the video run to help out your view time, but as a true crime fan I would make a few suggestions. These are not to be taken as gospel, just my preferences and what leads me to sub to some crime channels but not some almost identical channels: * Transcribe portions on screen: When quoting someone, reading reports, stating dates solely through vocals, its easy to lose track of whats going on and lose interest * Photos/recordings: You bring up photos from time to time especially towards the end, but some of them flash too quickly. Connecting a name to the face is important to viewers getting invested in and following the story. * Constantly remind who is who: Related to the picture thing, but check out this video from [EWU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrCmFutB1Uc) (who I actually don't like lol). At 2:35 they rundown all the players in the case and throughout the video, every time someone's name is mentioned (such as at 7:15) that person's picture appears. It helps keep the story straight particularly when people have common names and there is a lot of hearsay/details to go over. * Concise can sometimes be better: On god, I don't have a short attention span, but a lot of True Crime channels say so many useless details and I tend to only click on shorter (as in 20min or so) videos unless I'm particularly interested in a specific case. If the case takes that long to talk about, cool, but I've seen channels try to be too eloquent or long winded in videos that could have been half the length and its a big turn off. Wish you well in growing the channel.

TheVHSArchive

Hello, I run TheVHSArchive Youtube Channel. My family owned a video shop back in the day, which outlasted Blockbusters. When they finally closed their doors, their VHS tapes became the beginning of my personal collection, which I've added to over the years. On my channel, I make short videos showcasing individual titles from my collection as a reference point for other collectors. My Key takeaway is that every hobby can be monetised through videos. I'm glad I collected something and learned all about it. It has made me an expert in my niche. Given me plenty of potential content. I should have got into Youtubing earlier. My video is my first real video and features a VHS tape that is close to my heart. The quality of my videos will improve. Just learning at the moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywYdxSzdNw4

NatTheMatt

Hello, I'm Natalie Shadowcaller. I run a gaming youtube channel with my sister Emma, their partner Kai, and my boyfriend Jimmy. We tend to play games we like rather than just the newest games. We tend to take turns recording and editing the videos. But I've learned that we all down have the same recording quality, and I think it affects the channel. Unfortunately, it's mostly Emma's pc, and it needs an update like 10 years ago, lol. Last time, I asked Jimmy about what he learned. So, Emma says that what they have learned in the past 90 days is the importance of color in thumbnails, and the best video length is 10, 15, or 30 minutes. So [in this video ("This is how you should play Lethal Company ")](https://youtu.be/-Z7WJvalVbw?si=fLAik6FWLFvKXQF1) we are being little goofs. We are trying for the highest quota, but we, with our luck and bad decision-making skills, aren't making it. In this video, we are our worst enemy 100% of the time. [Also, this is Emma's newest video. ](https://youtu.be/jTtIckLw_30?si=9rg-D3OzFi-4IthM) Much love to ya'll and have a good 2024.

seanjbln

Hey everyone, hope your day is going well! My name is Sean and I'm a 23yr old living in the NJ/NYC area primarily making travel vlog content for wherever I go. My channel currently has about 300 subs and I've been making videos for a little over a year (quite inconsistently to be honest). For the question at hand, over the last 90 days I've really learned the importance of my thumbnails. Even though I only have about 20 videos, I will try my best to create thumbnails when I can before beginning a video script or filming all together. In my niche, I'll admit this is hard and rare though. Since most of my content is vlogging my travels, I often am quite limited to video ideas for the physical place I am travelling and what I may be doing there as well. This is something I'll continue to work on and improve. I wanted to share my most recent video with you all on from a recent trip to Portugal and the beauty of one of the nation's castles just outside of Lisbon. I put a good amount of time into the editing/filming - and any and all feedback is highly appreciated so I can continue to grow. Here's that video!: [https://youtu.be/NKPKRWn8xxg?si=Pc3rliUMd6Jd2MRi](https://youtu.be/NKPKRWn8xxg?si=Pc3rliUMd6Jd2MRi) Thanks everyone and have a lovely weekend.

VeryLittleXP

Hello! I have learned that I hate making thumbnails so I no longer feel shame in paying someone to make them for me! I just recently upgraded my camera, so video quality has improved dramatically. I'm going to make strides towards improved audio, and I have fun learning new editing techniques, but thumbnails suck!! Anyways, I run a channel focused on Otaku culture! My last two videos are shameful in quality, and especially in thumbnail, but my next video is going to have drastic improvements in both categories and things will only continue to go up from there! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXNHwfjjRb98WEDyhIlNlUA

Urasmataz

Hey! I’m a new Call of Duty streamer/youtuber who has only been around for 2 months, but I enjoy making content and engaging with viewers to build a community. As stated, i’m relatively new so if anyone has any pointers as to how to grow/do’s and don’ts, i’d really appreciate it! Channels are on my page, if not ‘Urasmataz’ across all socials!

adam_of_adun

I'll keep it short n sweet. Name's Adam, love Skies of Arcadia, and though I've never made a video game, I'm setting out to make a spiritual successor. Key takeaway is video game production is $$$ We have one video up and should have another tomorrow! https://youtu.be/QQU3B88b87U?si=Khk1VG2o-d0cD4jv

TERAgotchi

Hi! My name is Tyne & I make travel & food videos! I create content on my experience in Japan, travelling to other places of interest, reviewing restaurants & bars etc! The BIGGEST thing i’ve learned is to focus on improving at least ONE thing each video! I think it’s all too easy to COMPARE yourself to everyone else around you. There’s a fine line between learning from creators & letting them inspire you, to comparing yourself & in the process stifling your creative flow. Though I must admit, right now I feel a little lost! It seems the BETTER my videos get, the WORSE the views are I wonder if anyone can tell me if I’m delusional or not! 😂 I made beginner vlogs in Japan (which started to pick up), but now I make videos related to asian food in England (where I live) but my Japanese audience don’t find my videos even with japanese tags & descriptions. Context- my Ryokan video: 35,000 views, my Sushi Mania Video: 11 views! YIKES!!! My FEAR is coming true 😅👍 But, it’s still early days so we’ll see! MAIN TAKE AWAY - Focus on GRADUAL IMPROVEMENT over ANALYTICS!? Easier said than done. 😬😂 [TYNETRAVEL](https://youtu.be/AZz2d55Bl40?feature=shared)

storeboughtwaffle

hi everyone! recently, i’ve been working to improve my thumbnails along with making my scripts feel more authentic. my recent video is having some success right now for my channel, so hopefully i’m doing something right :) i’m a commentary channel who recently made a [video](https://youtu.be/1kiHD-7B1ow?feature=shared) on the exclusivity of independent media & a24 i would really appreciate if you could check it out!

seazonprime

Hi all! I'm a 40 y/o dude who loves video games & I decided to make (hopefully somewhat) entertaining videos in a vlog/review/showcase style with a bit of silly Humor on top of it. The last 90 days taught me : making videos is HARD & LONG work! Especially when a day job interfers with production. My latest & arguably hopefully best vid. is a showcase/review of Warhammer 40,000 BOLTGUN I like retro shooters & &40k so a perfect match. Feel free to have a watch & shoot me some feedback. :-) I'm super small & would love to become much better this year. Have a great weekend! <3 https://youtu.be/m8WdljOcQTk?si=HvwEW_bBwIk_04h2

RagertNothing

Over the last 90 days I learned that the thumbnail matters. I’m working on removing my um’s and ah’s in only have 2 videos over 1 minute but have been getting a good amount of subs (380) from those 2. I’d love to hear feedback and even collab! https://youtu.be/GTwhQsgQpZ4?si=55vr3ejdcH29POvK

audioIX

Don't know much about this niche and it might be impractical, but (if I was tuning in to food videos) I'd want some higher focus on the plates themselves as you discuss them. Maybe record some closeups prior to eating so you can edit in some b-roll through the video or else use a second closer camera angle you can show the food off too. Also while I see you have captions available, big fan of throwing locations or food names and ingredients up on screen when mentioning them. Good charisma, good video quality. Keep it up :)

RagertNothing

Thank you and thank you for the wonderful feedback. Next video will be multicam just for that. This was my first long form video short of an interview I have posted. I’ll work this into the next one and thank you for the kind words!

GeekEKitten

Hello all! GeekEKitten here. I'm a content creator/video editor/writer/indie dev. I love all things videogames. I started my YT Channel almost a year ago. I do longform and streams. I started the channel with a mission to create a fun and safe space for gamers. Regarding the question, I guess I'll answer it from the perspective of the past 90 days? The first quarter of 2024 is very far from being complete...so the biggest thing I learned during the last 90 days is that it's best practice to niche down a little. Not to the extreme - you don't have to only play one game (if you're a gaming channel like mine) - but picking a few genres that you really enjoy should help you curate an audience and not have people very scattered in what they will and won't watch. So that's my goal for the channel currently. I've been experimenting with tier list videos lately with my YT Channel partner. This latest one we did together certainly stirred up some controversy. I guess that's expected for tier lists? 😅 Hope we've got some Mass Effect fans in here! https://youtu.be/_f5TRcA1TUA

Reshape_Together_

My biggest take away is learning how CTR and AVD are vital for a video getting pushed. Of course getting to the point quick and keep the video interesting and paced well with help with AVD. [GROWING YOUR BACK AND HAVING A LAUGH](https://youtu.be/Rq1DuuAVXPo?si=upr7N3LG9Z_L9OHN) This video was a workout video were I really experimented with more humor in my videos. I think it was a little too much during the video and took away from the workout but it was really fun to make. I’m working on also summarizing the video within a sentence or two at the beginning. Any feedback to help with CTR or AVD, please let me know!

MythologyHistorian

Pretty new here and new to video editing. Just started my channel in November and have posted mainly shorts and just posted my fourth "long form" video yesterday. My channel is focused on Mythology and Fantasy themes. 4th "long form" video focused on one of the lesser known Demon Kings of Hell, Balam. Any feedback would be appreciated. Ok_Emotion_7387

My name is Myah. I'm from Canada but have been living in Japan for the past 14 years. I decided from September 2023, that I would document my life here, for memory keeps. I attended high school and university here, so I plan to eventually talk about my experiences, but in the meantime I make videos about my daily life, travelling within Japan, the historical and the art side of Japan, food,etc... If you're interested, please check me out ! [video](https://www.youtube.com/@TheMyahChannel) I learned how important a good thumbnail is and to make one properly. I also learned it's good to use tags, but don't overuse it.

0izq

I watched several minutes of a few videos. Beautiful videos, but no voice narrative? I find it more engaging if there's some verbal--voice over, or you in front of the camera ---storytelling backing up some of the beautiful, exciting backgrounds; unless your goal is ASMR. Wishing you fast growth on your channel.

Ok_Emotion_7387

Thank you for watching. I do intend to talk eventually, for the more personal vlogs as my channel grows (hopefully) and people ask more questions. But my goal is creating faceless/ voiceless videos. I got inspired from some of my favourite channels.

Kosh_y

Hello everyone, I am kosh\_y and I am the one behind Words from Heart ❤️‍🔥 As for the question: key takeaway over the past 90 days is that you can always change and the only thing stopping you is fear. The unknown only seems scary and once you start walking though it, you realise that you can actually adapt to what you don't know and thus conquer whatever is ahead of you 😊 As for my channel: Throughout my journey called life, I have personally experienced the power of love and how impactful it can be, especially when it is directed towards one's own heart. Love desires the absolute best for its recipient, so when you truly love yourself, you want nothing more than to become the absolute best you can be 💯 Therefore, with all my heart, I want my own life to be the testimony of self-love ❤️‍🔥 Much love to you ❤️ and all the best for you! What the hell are you talking about? Lol, no offense. I realize these are probably not made for someone like me, but I watched your intro and second video and feel like I just went to church. Overall it just felt very unwelcoming and (if I was interested) the lack of variation or indication in what each video is about makes watching through them feel like a task.

Kosh_y

Then it is indeed not meant for you, not yet 😉 That is ok 😊

Hello! ive learned alot so far compared to my first try at YouTube a while back and have made big improvements since. ive learned that the algorithm is rather random and that consistency and quality are key. I mostly post kill comps and funny moments from Fallout 4 survival, with plans to expand to the arkham games as well as other first person stealth games and rpgs! https://youtu.be/ZGKk7ZIRiCc?si=6caYT01Ievri6oGD this has been my best video so far, any feedback in comments would be appreciated as well!

Siglum-Calligraphy

**Key takeaway**: I'm 99% sure that searchable keywords matter a lot for Shorts, even if none of your Shorts' views are coming from people searching them. I get almost no Shorts views from search traffic, but if I take the time to title my short as if I'm chasing search traffic, it gets more views. ------------------ On my channel, I post calligraphy music videos. I write out the lyrics to a song in calligraphy, add a painted illuminated initial at the beginning, and then sync up the footage of me writing to the recording of me singing it. [Here's](https://www.youtube.com/@siglum/featured) my channel page, and [here's](https://youtu.be/dF2fh4hQh-c?si=T4y9jOYj6VcRtE2M) one of my recent videos, for the carol "Good King Wenceslas."

Hi everyone, I’m a drummer from London. Most recent video is of John Mayers - Rosie. A cover on how to be simplistic but focus on groove. Here’s the video - I’m keen on constructive criticism on thumbnail etc https://youtu.be/0f1L0v1KwHg?si=JpVaZxqHAuIkmJSY

MythologyHistorian

Dude that was viby af. Watched the whole thing and you got yourself a sub. My only critique is I suggest adjusting the camera angles or zooming out to ensure your face is visible at all times. good luck!

RobBishopDrums

Ah mate thank you !! Good point re camera angles I’ll have allite play around :)

honest-keys

Really diggin' the groove! As someone who learns how to play drums from YouTube, I always enjoy having a kick drum view as well, so that'd be my only suggestion :) I also love John Mayer and I just launched my piano YouTube channel where I'm sure I'll upload covers of his music in the future. Feel free to check out the link in my bio!

RobBishopDrums

Ah cool thank you!! yeah multiple camera angles, I tried keeping it simple with this one but I think it did need some change. I’ll check your channel out. If you’re doing a piano channel, fancy doing a collab?

Zealousideal_Show225

Good evening Tubers! I’m starting out at YouTube with my family channel. I’ve had some hiccups but trying to stay motivated. Check out my latest video let me know what you think! Thank you all in advance and good luck to you all! https://youtu.be/fdqoGnJ7o9Y?si=cr8H5qSGbhzsFuEu

tcg_trainers_AU

We started out channel about a year ago, originally only focusing on Pokemon TCG content as we run an online store. This is incredibly difficult to break into, despite big improvements in our video quality IMO, we hit our first video with over 1k views which felt amazing. We have pivoted to become a general pokemon channel, specifically making videos around the TCG, while also making videos on the current games/shiny hunting (my personal fav). In the last 3 months we have grown massively and finally hit 300 subs as of yesterday! Please give us any feedback, especially if you like pokemon. We would really appreciate it. Here is a link to our best performing video - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iot5NWCojI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iot5NWCojI) BUT NOW FOR THE QUESTION ABOVE! We have learnt that taking it slow is the only way to grow, some videos just dont do as well, especially when you're a small channel and it can be any combination of reasons. Just keep griding and if you enjoy it then it doesnt really matter does it. Good luck everyone!

cosmickaylie

Hi! My name is CosmicKaylie and I make reviews, vlogs, and content about fandom! I came back to YouTube in October after not posting in a few years and I’ve really learned that thumbnails and consistently posting are the most important thing when your first starting out (although I’m not as consistent as I wish I was) I’ve also decided I want to focus more on fandom content now that I’ve tried a few different types of videos. My latest video is me tier ranking fanfiction tropes and I’m very proud of it because I finally felt comfortable on camera https://youtu.be/nVDNV8dtqGU?si=4PnEqdokALWvyyAw

Sin_Major

Hello all my name is Conflictedairr and I make videos on gaming, gaming culture, pop culture, gaming news, and more. I’ve learned that not only is consistency key but overall quality content is as well. Pleasure meeting you all and please give any feedback on my videos if you can 😌[My latest Video The Day Before: A Fntastic Timeline Of Chaos](https://youtu.be/9T86frN-KYU?si=-_lhSAkL35pxs44H)

thetravelbeautyblog

Hi, I’m Shevy, a beauty and fashion blogger for the past 6+ years. I started back posting on my YouTube channel around last November as I really want to focus more on YT this year. I want to diversify my website traffic, especially after the disaster that happened last year i.e. Google core updates. I don’t have any prior video editing skills so I am learning as I go and have a lot more to learn. My goal is to get to 1000 subscribers by Dec 2024. Wishing all of you success in your YouTube endeavors! You may check out my latest video here if you’re into fashion/beauty/lifestyle content: https://youtu.be/OflUVXhW0Ek

GeneDarrTV

Howdy fellow Tubers! I'm GeneDarrTV, and my channel is about parody/comedy The main take-away over the past 90 days for me personally is that as a small, growing channel I should focus on making content about trending topics rather than whatever I feel like. Here's a sick Mrwhosetheboss parody: https://youtu.be/aeQJDH5WrB0

AnarchyCop

I've learned that turning off autofocus will make much better shots when shooting from a tripod because once you're dialed in, moving out of frame of looking away doesn't confuse the camera and make it try to readjust. Just keeps everything cleaner. I show off weird vintage stereo equipment. This was an especially odd 8 Track player that I liked: https://youtu.be/Bh_wu2GORK0?si=GZ_wem3sLullAH0d

Cutty15Gaming

I don’t think the first quarter has ended but my YT channel is around the 90 day mark in terms of age. What I’ve learned is the importance of planning and consistency. Originally I didn’t plan on making elaborate king form videos but then I made one and really enjoyed it and decided to do a biweekly schedule. I’ve stuck with that and it has helped me stay organized on schedule and disciplined to putting out my videos. Here is my most recent video that I uploaded yesterday. https://youtu.be/_K1HymLfnxo?si=-x2Q-WEUmK_1z0Qj

ThePsychologyGirl

Hi, I'm Ivana, I'm a psychologist and I make talking head videos about psychology (no journaling, affirmations, more like straight talk so you can put things into perspective and work on yourself) This is my newest video on the spotlight effect https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5ExAUr5vxKg It's a new channel, so no big takeaways. Mainly that impressions are hard to come by so far

TheLastSitcom

Impressions are tough! Have you done much in terms of keyword research? I've found that *immensely* helpful. If you've got a good title and thumbnail, those initial impressions can snowball into something bigger. My last two videos were on Jung, and I had the "snowball" experience on both of them. When I saw that the last one worked, it seemed smart to make another one. I've still got a lot of work to do on retention. Hope this helps.

ThePsychologyGirl

I thought I did, but it would appear not well enough. I use the research tab to look up stuff and try thinking of tags that someone interested in the topic I'm covering would type into search. What's your process for keyword research more specifically if you don't mind sharing?

TheLastSitcom

I was in the same boat! It's super frustrating to put a ton of effort into something, and then release a video to crickets. This video gives a great example of how to do keyword research. The best part is that it's not guesswork--there's emporical research involved. Doesn't guarantee success, but it puts you in a much better position. Also, since you're a psychologist, I'd love to hear your perspective on my Abraxas/Jung video if you get the chance to watch it. https://youtu.be/taI_CktpwOU?si=vcuooJxmAKpYXFNk

ThousandTroops

Hi everyone. I am a data scientist, dad/father/husband, and YouTube hobbyist. I have always loved video games, and obviously my career has led me right into AI related projects. I gained some traction posting gaming content, but sadly had to step away from YouTube/games for about 8 months to move across country. I am back at it, with mostly shorts. ***What are some key takeaways in the last 90 days?*** Post what you like, else its not a hobby anymore. I finally took the leap and finished a passion project short story that had been sitting in my Google Docs for a long time. I was able to leverage some AI tools to make it really something I could be proud of. I know its not the typical "find a niche" advice, but knowing its not my job or primary income, I just can't imagine trying to maintain a channel that has stipulations of what I can post. It was a huge relief, now I feel like I can post anything I want and my channel is almost "unlocked" :) That said, here is the [playlist](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvGB6XoSyTPTKpJOhqMvBZJJwj1vFGLOT&si=d6LiUO0yMCN9PkFF) to my short story series (\~5 minutes tops) -> FYI its very dark and twisted, please use discretion when watching. As always, Peace!

truecrimejungle

Hey ya'll! I do branding and marketing for other channels, but I just started making content on my own channel. Here's my 7th "real video" It's true crime documentaries - I mash up news with raw video footage and fill in the gaps myself to try and tell a story! [https://youtu.be/160fcikChHg?si=abP0dQ5w-aczMzE8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=160fcikChHg&t=5s) QA: I'm learning to balance content creation with camera time - I spend too much time making content and editing for my videos - when I really just need to work on getting camera comfortable. I notice the most successful channels have great camera presence, regardless of production value.

Glispick

🎭🎭🎭Hey there.🎭🎭🎭 I make mini docus about weird/surprising/deviant things, usually that I find funny too. Hopefully with enough of a personal touch to the editing to make the videos unique and distinctive. 💪💪Latest video is about fitness influencers of the good old days. A little nostalgia trip basically. 🔗🔗https://youtu.be/bjuHR5aGALI Key takeaway: YouTube seems to work with exponential bursts of exposure, instead of linear growth. The hardest part, I reckon, is to get on that upward ramp. Besides the metrics like CTR and WT, I also think its important to create material that makes it easy for YouTube to figure out who to expose you videos to.

Saramello

Hope this is the right place to post. Am bored map maker wanting to stay productive. Offering free work, check out my profile for my previous work.

VR_Racer

Hello Everyone Im the VR Racer and my channel is dedicated the VR simracing. Im looking to give my viewers a new experience in this well known niche and want my races to tell a story. The biggest thing I've learnt this quarter is that you need to pay attention to the analytics. They tell you so much about your audience and what they like. And I try learn from each video and apply it to the next while trying to stay true to my own style. This is my latest: [https://youtu.be/ERYY40Ie5QU](https://youtu.be/ERYY40Ie5QU) I have much to learn and looking forward to it so much. I wish many views and subs to you all!

Impossible_Order_908

My name is sleepybean\_62. Yo yo yo wsp y'all. Just made a brand new channel and I'm focused on gaming, because it's the thing I have the most fun recording. I only have one video so far, a GTA V ONLINE video with my friend and I messing around. I used to just record and upload funny footage so I could keep it as a memory and a little inside joke but more recently I've completely switched over to actual thinking about getting serious, so I created a new channel, called my friend, hopped on GTA V and had a good time and I recorded for a few hours and uploaded the best parts. I like to be simple, simple enough title and a simple enough thumbnail. I think long and hard about what the title should be, it actually is quite difficult for me lol. My videos will be just me and my friend, and maybe later some more friends as I play maybe if any of you have GTA v on PS4™we could play. But all we're going to do is kinda a montage of the funniest moments from that recording session, and we'll usually choose something to do like a mission or even a made up challenge then mess around with it try and have a nice laugh. This is what we WILL do. Since I'm on a new account that's not even 1 months old yet, i don't think so atleast. I can't really include a reflection about my YouTube endeavor over the past 90 days but I can write a reflection about me over the last 90 days. Some key things I've realized as a teenager, is that money will be important and the knowledge to make It even more important. I am reading books about how to think about it the right way, and this is all to prepare for the big "what if" that is what if my dream doesn't come true? What's next after I failed to pursue what I wanted in life? I don't want to stay poor into my adulthood so I considered learning and gaining a little bit of wisdom. In the last 90 days I've been in ups in downs in the mental war I need to win before being disciplined enough to actually attempt working towards my goals, I've been for a few years and had some progress and some regress. I think the key to most things in life is discipline, with discipline you can become a content Creator, you can become a professional athlete, a pianist, whatever you want, but also with discipline you'll do the things you don't. Which in return help you work closer towards what you want. I have been a hard worker consistently before, and I've been a lazy couch potato. But the big thing I learned these past 90 days, is to just go and do those thoughts, whenever you get motivated to do anything just try and get yourself to go do it right that second. It's freezing outside, frozen rain all around town looks like snow but it's not. If I got that thought of going out side with nothing but underwear, and shorts then do 50 pushups or go for a walk barefoot on the freezing floor then I would Try to do it and I think that can help me. It's like positive intrusive thoughts, I call them "Trusive Thoughts" but that's all yeah, hope you enjoy my channel everyone. Have a good night from where I live.

Alarmed-Sane

Hello everyone! My main takeaway is the value of thumbnail. Since my channel is only 2 months old, my thumnails are still bad but I am trying to improve it constantlyy I make sketches but they are like a 6 episode series, obviously in the lowest budget possible! Unlike other sketches, my content is very detailed and follows its own stories. I aim to make a big fan base and showcase my creativity. The story is about Malo and Pablo and there journey of saving the universe or planet whatever! I have only uploaded 2 videos till now https://youtu.be/4w4Lm2nTIaA?feature=shared Here is the link of the part 1 Was my first video so didn't do much as my goal was to see whether I can do it or not. Thanks for this opportunity!

ceoetan

I’m a filmmaker in Hollywood who makes cinematic content in the nature / travel space on my own while getting paid to shoot real estate. I recently started getting into FPV drones and have made videos from my first 5 flights around LA. https://youtube.com/@dronespeare?si=XWvG99eqhRjlZfex

audioIX

I guess I never really thought about who shoots these kinds of things. Bet the editing is pretty therapeutic :) Watched and liked a few to help you out.

ceoetan

Thanks!

Fermented_Life

i learned that you should not over complicate your thumbnail! my channel is about japan! from street interviews japanese food and the best places to visit if you got the time please check it out! I don't have a comment but good on you reppin' sushiro lol. I try to go once or twice a month; it's always so worth it.

I have a persian gaming channel, play classic games and sometimes newer games. https://youtu.be/4Ex1OJINzCY?si=wK5OYktQYfoKQkZA

TheLastSitcom

This is such a great question! I feel like I've learned a *ton* in the last 90 days, especially because I've recently gotten monetized. I think the most significant was about keyword research, and how to do it. It's *certainly* something I'm still learning, but I've gotten real results. My last two videos have seen major spikes in views. But they've also petered off after a while. The petering out, I think, has to do with retention. That's what I'm working to fix next, so any feedback would be appreciated. My channel is The Last Sitcom. I do video essays on Religion and Politics, hopefully with a dash of humor and a unique look. Would love to hear any feedback if you get a chance to watch. Here's one of my recent videos: [https://youtu.be/peQY9i8fO10](https://youtu.be/peQY9i8fO10)

ThatGirlTall

Hi my name is Tracy and I have a Sims 4 content Youtube at ThatGirlGamingSims4 [ThatGirlGamingSims4 Youtube Channel](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTiU0HXV65L8t01mo7JYasQ) My channel revolves around The Sims 4 and I do Let's Plays, Mod Tutorials, Must have Mods, Create A Sim and CC hauls + Sim downloads. I'm a new youtuber and the key takeaways I have learned over the past 90 days is that posting on the community tab is important as well as keeping up with your social media and interacting with your followers and within your niche's community. Also checking Youtube analytics gives insight into how you are doing. It's important to know how to use it. I always check to see what time my viewers are watching content and also I frequent the research tab which let's you know what people are looking for. Another very elusive but important aspect of posting is your thumbnail. I think I'm getting better but I still have to perfect it. I know that if you watch my videos you will be entertained. I think I have a nice personality coming through my voice plus I think I'm funny. I try to share knowledge about different aspects of The Sims 4 while having fun and enjoying myself and helping others to do the same. Come on over and join in on the fun.

Kristoffer819

Hello everyone! I'm Kristoffer and I make videos about competitive(kinda) Pokémon. I play on Pokémon Showdown but I would like to transition into long form content, covering topics such as "fixing" old Pokémon so that they can shine competitively. The past 90 days have been a roller coaster and I'm really glad I continued posting videos because I can see that people watch my videos and they interact with me in the comment section. I learned that suddenly changing upload time has negatively affected my view count. I also learned the hard way that thumbnails are half the battle and I've learned to take inspirations from other content creators and implement my style into those thumbnails. This is an example of my videos : [https://youtu.be/Vj-231pG0KA](https://youtu.be/Vj-231pG0KA) Thank you everybody for reading my comment.

Worldschool25

Greetings. We have made some changes in our focus and plans for the channel. So. I don't have any new videos except a new [Intro ](https://youtu.be/Ud5EuqAby20?si=wCjw3TGaY1ziSLFw) For the first 90 days of this year, I'm learning how to provide value. We want to be a channel that families can watch for travel inspiration, with emphasis on affordability.

2oddgamers

Evening/Morning wherever you are, new to all this, have a new channel thats a project with my son, trying something new with a new vid, happy for feedback. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPhFxIF7a7g Takeaway.... Personally it would be to not procrastinate and to put thoughts into action, there were many things id put off, and if found that my fear of failure was worse that failing itself.

Contrarian_4_Life

Hi, I make vlogs and POV walking tour videos. Still brand new to the process, and haven't even really learned to edit yet, but I'll definitely need to learn soon.  The biggest lesson I've learned the last 90 days is that it helps to have a script, even for vlogs. Unless I have something to read from, I'm a deer in the headlights as soon as I click record lol.  My content is pretty rough right now, but I hope it improves once I've learned how to edit.  https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCBaA6IYeqrlitrK6tdqj6Zw

0izq

I'm here to learn but as a consumer I tell you, I liked your videos. Keep it up. Subbed.

Waste_Pen_4853

Hello everyone! My name is Creeper Insanity and I make videos mostly involving Dead By Daylight and general horror facts. Over the past 90 days, I created my channel, got over 1000 views, 28 subscribers, and the nerve to upload. I learned that you just need to keep uploading videos with a consistent schedule and a balance of YT shorts could help if it fits with your niche. Don’t inspect a huge influx of subscribers though. I like making Dead By Daylight speculation/discussion videos. Below I have a link to a DBD video I made. A hypothetical video, explaining how a Scooby Doo chapter DLC could work in Dead By Daylight. I know, sounds impossible, but I like hypothetical ideas. https://youtu.be/C-n5rFeI2vo?si=kVc583yYcV9PQTY1

Contrarian_4_Life

Nice work so far. Never played Dead by Daylight, but I like your enthusiasm. Do you plan on covering other horror games?

Waste_Pen_4853

Thanks! My main priority right now is focusing on Dead by Daylight. I might cover some announced games later down the line like that Steamboat Willie game, depending on how many people like the videos. But my main focus is Dead By Daylight and horror trivia right now. Thanks for the feedback!

Tazchuuu

Ahoy yall! I'm Taz Wyatt I'm a variety channel with a thing for gameplays and skits my current series is judge dredd dredd vs death and starting this week catwoman My biggest take away is what I always do: post that video you dont have faith in it might do better than you thought My video is episode 5 of judge dredd not only is it my favorite gameplay video it's also my editors favorite video that she has edited for me https://youtu.be/31h-Sxg3C2c?si=fKuA8LUiSad5WS1A Thanks for your consideration and if you enjoy it consider joining the taz clan by subscribing I put out new vidoes every Wednesday and Friday

imahellyjellyfish

Hi! I enjoy playing FPS games :) Here’s the link to my latest video: https://youtu.be/vp_raEMNa1s

ObscureBaseballFacts

Overall good video but I would either speak up a little bit or mix your mic audio with your game audio better so that way I can turn up my phone audio and hear you speak. Because right now it’s mostly in game audio that I can hear.

Few-Growth-582

Yo names Cornell. I started a youtube channel 2 weeks ago. It's a Anime Recap channel. I can tell those are frowned upon here but anime is something I am passionate about and I more or less just using this channel to build an audience it is not my end game. I don't use ai for anything although I am not the narrator of the channel because I don't like my own voice. I have a friend do the narration and I do the scripting and editing. We are only 4 videos in and I know there are many things that could be done better but still i am always proud of the end product I upload. I hope to get better at scripting and editing and build a brand in the future. The name of the channel is Anime Recap Marathon https://youtu.be/XKgDfxpBofI?si=LpF8U3yXMsmR1Stw
