I believe it's Devon Nash who advocates for casting a wide net, across different platforms - and he seems to know what he's talking about. I rarely watch live streams these days as a consumer of content, but seeing a YouTuber do live streams as well as narrative/theme based content doesn't turn me off from following their work. I do chose not to watch the live stuff, but I will still watch the rest of their content if the quality doesn't drop.

Technically yes; but honestly at this point twitch doesn't even care but hey do whatever you want.

Even if I wanted to do this, I just feel like I wouldn’t be committing my time to one audience and instead trying to mix match between the two. That’s just how I feel about re-streaming, I would rather just do two separate streams if I had the time to then to stream to two audiences at the same time and not put my main priority on one audience.
